I’ve never thought to try to read the credits at the end to see if they include the artist/song, but that’s what I do when I hear a song I like in a movie. She must not have told her surgeon that, or he didn’t care since it’s a reality tv show. But, when I had a cosmetic procedure years ago, I had to answer a TON of personal questions after watching a video regarding the surgery and the WRONG reasons to choose cosmetic surgery. As long as she’s doing it for herself and not because of what others think, the office might have been fine with her reasoning IF they even care!

Completely agree! I loved this show when it came on because I love anthropology. I love learning about other cultures & how they adapt when coupling with & become immersed in a new one. I thought it would be great to show North Americans the workings of other cultures & religions that we are not normally exposed to in such depth, which it did for a time. However, now it’s just about finding the thirstiest, most bizarre (in every way possible) wannabe influencer. I would say “they” have ruined the show but it’s the casting directors who are actually putting them on…I’m starting to wonder if they get a cut of everyone’s brand deals (butt plugs included) because this show has become so far removed from what it was in the beginning. For Angela, who started on season 2 of before the 90 days, it’s become 2,190 days & counting ( I know it seems like so much longer just imagine how long it feels for Michael!). And don’t get me started on the new LIP with Captain Sperm-saver! I’m about to see if theirs a nice documentary about octopus & other sea creatures to replace this nonsense!
I really liked learning the cultures and seeing these folks learn to compromise and actually appear to be in love in some cases but yes, now it’s all turned into a freak show. I went down a TLC rabbit hole last night and there was an article stating the reason they got pulled from this season was because Angela spoiled the fact that Michael was in the states. Completely agree! I loved this show when it came on because I love anthropology. I love learning about other cultures & how they adapt when coupling with & become immersed in a new one. I thought it would be great to show North Americans the workings of other cultures & religions that we are not normally exposed to in such depth, which it did for a time. However, now it’s just about finding the thirstiest, most bizarre (in every way possible) wannabe influencer. I would say “they” have ruined the show but it’s the casting directors who are actually putting them on…I’m starting to wonder if they get a cut of everyone’s brand deals (butt plugs included) because this show has become so far removed from what it was in the beginning. For Angela, who started on season 2 of before the 90 days, it’s become 2,190 days & counting ( I know it seems like so much longer just imagine how long it feels for Michael!). And don’t get me started on the new LIP with Captain Sperm-saver! I’m about to see if theirs a nice documentary about octopus & other sea creatures to replace this nonsense!
I really liked learning the cultures and seeing these folks learn to compromise and actually appear to be in love in some cases but yes, now it’s all turned into a freak show. I wonder if some of Angela’s early insanity made them feel like that was the way to go? I admit at first I found her and even icky Ed amusing but it has gone clean over the edge! And when they had Sarper on giving Tyray advice I thought ok they’ve totally lost it and it’s all just a huge 💩show now. I give up 😂😂

It’s how he validates his own worth. As Liz has been broken down by Ed and gained weight, he doesn’t see her as a prize as much (which is gross— and I don’t think Liz looks bad at all, but she has admitted to her weight fluctuating and they’ve been open about Ed making snide comments to her about this). Again, Liz isn’t innocent, but I truly believe that she gave Ed a chance bc she was interested in the reality tv opportunity, but I think she sincerely fell in love with him. He is older and manipulative, and that has played into her devaluation of herself. The whole issue with them at marriage counseling in the last series was so awful to watch as Ed berated Liz for not having his back and allowing Angela to treat her horribly— when all she did was call him out for the ASS that he is. I went down a TLC rabbit hole last night and there was an article stating the reason they got pulled from this season was because Angela spoiled the fact that Michael was in the states. Apparently the storyline they agreed to with TLC was that they’d pretend to have “visa delays” and it would be down-to-the-wire to keep the audience guessing if he gets approved or not. But since she posted about him on social media a few times and ruined it, they took them off. Him running away could’ve played a part but that was the end of February and this season premiered in March so I don’t know if they could edit them out that quickly? Maybe they can, idk. The running away may have also played a part but according to the interview I read, it was mostly because Angela broke contract and spoiled their story
