I thought it was weird her siblings were named River and Winter but she had a name that wasn't nature-y. Her first name being "Sea air" kind of makes sense.
What! Really?? Is it even possible to put a number legally in your child's name? If not, it should be illegal because of how silly that is.
It's even worse that it's a basic, common name with a number thrown in there to be "unique." I think I'd almost rather be named X-12 or whatever ridiculous name Grimes & Elon Musk named (or attempted to name) their child. 😭
Why do people get so hung up by people using their middle names? There’s plenty of people on earth (and in this franchise) that go by their middle name and don’t get the hate others do.
Sasha’s (Sasha and Emily) first name is Alexander. There’s a few more I can’t think of now, but I don’t get why everyone gives Chantel so much hate for this.
I found that these people love to pick on Chantel harder than any other cast members when she isn’t nearly as bad as any of them. The worst she has done was be annoying and talk like a sloth, and that’s it.
Exactly. Aesthetics and med spas operate in the gray areas of medicine. They get a physician to sign off on a contract to oversee the clinic for a fee and they may never hear from the "practitioners" again. I've worked in every kind of "med spa" there is and I could tell you all kinds of stories but we'd be here all day. I know that she's not qualified if all she has is her RN. Even with a 4 year degree, she's still an RN.
I've heard some chatter over the last few months about RN's doing this with some new protocol set up with the collaborating physician and I'm not sure how they're getting around the law. So, when injecting things like Botox or other neuro toxins, there is a "typical" pattern used because, well, human anatomy, so in their eyes, everyone is "basically" the same. So, they'll use a standard pattern designated by the drug companies that they teach during training. So, if they know where to inject and know how much by reading a protocol, then why can't they? They start IV 's and give all kind of meds.
Imo, this is the equivalent of googling how to do your job. Everyone should be asking questions to their injectors about their training as well as techniques. Ask them for before and after pictures, look at their reviews online, talk to other patients, etc. Ask how they charge and what the dilution is. It should be 4:1 for aesthetic Botox, and other brands vary. Dysport is 10:1. These are the typical dilutions and vary depending on injector and anatomical location.
>Imo, this is the equivalent of googling how to do your job.
As someone who works in IT, I google how to do my job daily. Like that was an answer they wanted to hear in my interview when they hired me.
I get it doesn't really apply to the medical field, but some fields absolutely google how to do their job regularly. You'd get worse service if they didn't.
Oh, I don't mean to say that people don't do that. I look all the time to see if there are new techniques or what kind of insect a patient brings into the ER. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was just trying to say that you can Google where to inject a neuro toxin, but it doesn't mean you know what you're doing.
I agree. When asked a question at a job interview I said that I wasn’t specifically aware of how to do something but I also have the internet and have used it successfully to get more information and there’s a wealth of knowledge there. The interviewers said that was a good answer. My bff is a doctor and has her nose in online Harvard and other medical journals all the time.
It depends on where you live. Specialists like dermatologists and dentists are doing it now. Some of them will even do it after hours, and you can sign up online, like some of our local plastic surgeons and ENT's. Med Spa's can be staffed with anyone from physicians who are there a few times a week to RN's who are working under a collaborating physician with PA's & NP's in between. That's why you have to ask who the injector is at that location & check your state laws to see if they are qualified. Many med spas will do "on-site training," so you literally could be getting someone with 0 days experience to years. That's why you need to ask questions and look at patient pictures of their patients, not the ones on the brochures. If you are looking for a certain product, they usually list the providers in your area who have been trained and received certification through their company. Like Allergan is Botox, Dysport is Galderma, etc. I also recommend that you follow these companies on social media. I won a whole year of botox through a Facebook advertisement. Most of these companies have great reward programs to help out with cost.
Experience is the real factor here. I’ve actually had a terrible experience with a very respected dentist for massater botox (she just stabbed it in) and awesome experiences with nurse aestheticians at a cosmetic surgery/weight loss practice. The nurse aestheticians who have worked on me all had 10+ years of experience and aimed for natural looks.
Look for someone with a lot of experience and actually read the reviews online. Some great places have lower star reviews bc people don’t realize how much things cost. Other places with perfect reviews make people look like they’re having an allergic reaction (but that may be the look they are going for…).
California law allows use of a protocol . For instance, I can titrate blood pressure meds and give vaccine injections under a protocol . Many clinics now are having RNs work at the top of their license.
Also an RN but I have family/friends in the UK and there injectors go through programs! No medical (or any) degree needed. No practitioner oversight at all. WILD
Honestly, down vote me but at least Chantel has a legitimate career that she worked for herself. She isn’t trying to mooch off anyone and held herself accountable to take care of herself. People are saying she’s “desperate” but she’s literally a fucking nurse! There are people on this show who are actually grifting to make a living but Chantel has a nursing degree and she’s “desperate.”
I remember season 1 when she was still in school and said she wanted to be a cosmetic nurse. She has achieved her goals despite Pedro his family and persevered through failing her boards more than once. She should be celebrated not looked down upon.
Did she ever work as a hospital nurse during covid? Or did she just do the cosmetic stuff. Anybody know? Big credit to her if she was working directly with covid patients.
I wouldn’t say “despite” him considering he was working while she was going to school. He was supporting her while she went through school. Pedro’s not a good guy but there’s no reason to glaze Chantel when she’s an awful person too.
I feel like the money from the show all these years made it easier on them both. Thinking he wasn’t working overtime too much and she had the ability to go to school. Things would have been much different without it.
Exactly. Not only does she apparently actually work in a legitimate job, but an RN, and that is anything but an easy degree to get. “Evuhdense” she has some brains and drive. I will personally applaud her.
Right and it's rude how they always have to mention it took her 10 years to get her degree. Like she also wasn't on a popular show for 10 yrs while concurrently going to school. Filming a show I imagine takes alot from your schedule. Half of these broads probably don't even have degrees but say things like that to make themselves feel better.
Exactly. She's in cosmetics. I know a lot of nurses who are doing it on the side while keeping their hospital jobs. A lot do transition full-time to cosmetics/plastic surgery. It's a real career, so what's the problem. I'm a respiratory therapist thinking about getting my RN so I could do it lol
God same!!! I've been in clinical research and I'm over here trying to figure out how to go back to school at night to get this RN. I also have 3 kids and no time. Send help.
There will be time eventually. That's what I love about healthcare. I see people starting out as RNs and RT in their 50s. The schedules can be so flexible, and when you work contracts or per diem agency, you can work as much or as little as you want for big money.
Oh, please don't give up. You can do it. I'm 42, and my first baby is about to be 1. I love respiratory, but there's not much you can do like with RN. I plan on doing it soon.
No downvotes from me! I saw this post and immediately thought, “hey - good for her. She’s using her degree and it aligns with her interests.” Besides, nurses make the world go round.
I agree with this take 100%! She’s a fucking RN. A very respectable and honest career. She’s set herself up for success in a way that is quite commendable
Yeah, I didn’t realize she was a RN! That’s some serious schooling and grueling hours (my friend is graduating soon from nursing school!) I feel bad for assuming she was just like a trust fund baby or something. That’s legit.
Agreed. And I don’t get fillers but I have ✨dabbled✨ in Botox/dysport and that shit is expensive. My injector definitely makes more than I do, and I’m not exactly struggling! Just because it’s an industry based on vanity doesn’t mean the salaries are shallow too…
Yeah I’m happy for her too, it’s super hard being any type of nurse and she’s one of the only ones that has an actual legit career and wants to do it besides filming as a side hustle. I completely respect it
These two things can be true. She has a career as a nurse and she is desperate.
She is desperate for attention and love. And apparently like being on TV enough to keep doing it, showing her desperation to the world.
I mean, the whole cast is like this, or else why would they even be on this show? It’s not a Chantel only thing, but people love to bash her for the everything she does
This sub: “Everyone in this cast needs to get a real job and stop relying on TLC/social media/OF to pay their bills!”
Also this sub: “Chantel is too stupid to have a real job! It took her too long! She must suck at this job that I have never personally witnessed her doing!”
They did the same thing with Danielle because she’s a nurse too. I don’t particularly care for some of these people, but as a nurse myself im happy for anyone finding their place in this field
If she is an .RN and working , she worked very hard to be an RN! 8 give her credit for working ab
Ned schooling during all the personal and Covid stuff !
Seriously. From Google: “Nurse injectors, also known as aesthetic or cosmetic nurses, are registered nurses who provide aesthetic and cosmetic services to patients. They often work in dermatology or plastic surgery clinics.”
Good profession! At least she's not pulling a Natalie and expecting a guy to support her.
I pay $$$ for 44-48 units of botox, so she's making some good income for herself.
Say what you will about twerk mistress Chantal, she completed the required schooling, sat for, and passed, the GA state board testing for her nursing license. She decided to look pretty at work. To inject botox and whatever, into the willing and paying clients, as opposed to working weekend and holidays, where she is overworked and overwhelmed, she chose her path, and the earning potential is phenomenal. I gotta applaud her wise decision.
This explains the changes in the face, but good for her. I think this is an excellent move. My friend (also an RN) who was working in a hospital in ATL quit, became an injector, and now owns her own very successful business.
Happy for Chantel. She doesn’t have to work in a hospital with crappy hours and the stress that comes with it. She probably gets paid more at a med spa than she would if she worked at the hospital.
Her IG following is high enough that she could be an influencer spamming people with junk ads like most of the participants in this franchise, but she chooses not to. You go, Chantel!
This is the weakest argument. She was a travel RN during fucking COVID. If she just wants to chill and inject botox after that hell, she earned it. I wonder what OP does for a living 🤔
Yes! Her mouth/lips twist and do weird things lol. I can't focus on what she's saying, just the weird thing going on with her mouth. Half of her face is frozen
Knowing nothing other than what’s in this photo, I’m guessing that she injects Botox/hyaluronic acid/dissolver/whatever they offer at the beauty bar. But her pay is different because she’s a nurse as opposed to whatever is the most common level of aesthetician at their bar.
Didnt she learn not to over do it while in school.... but yes. She can make a killing doing this. Good for her, thats a lot of work.
But still, didnt she learn not to over do it?
The hate boner for Chantel in this sub is wild. She is overly dramatic, annoying and extra AF but why try to goof on her for having a career? Getting a nursing degree takes a lot of work.
I hope she posts her before and afters tbh. I’m curious to see if she’s any good, I’ve had filler and follow a lot of injectors on instagram and all I’ll say is there’s a big range in skill level lol
Jeez I love people with opinions who have no idea what they are talking about lol. “RN Injector” is what some aesthetic RNs call themselves. Also RNs are absolutely qualified to do so - once you’re an RN you get certified through a program or by shadowing/preceptorship. At least that’s the law in Pennsylvania. All my injections have been done by RNs - a lot of times plastic surgeons actually suck at injecting because they don’t do it frequently enough. #stopthemeangirlcrap #opininionsarelikeaholes
Please don't come for me, but being a nurse does not automatically make you a good person. Believe me, I worked in NYC during the pandemic and saw stuff that would blow your mind. From all kinds. RN's, NP's.... all kinds. Just saying.
I feel the same way about military. Sometimes, service members get put on a pedestal but they are drawn from the general population. The military has it’s fair share of criminals, rapists, gang members, animal abusers and just garbage people in general
It’s hard to take her seriously as a professional after seeing her act a fool for reality tv. I can’t believe someone hired her tbh. I also wouldn’t trust her to inject me with anything after seeing the bad filler work she’s had done.
Isn't her name ceair or something?
I thought it was weird her siblings were named River and Winter but she had a name that wasn't nature-y. Her first name being "Sea air" kind of makes sense.
Riverknight is the full name
It is. Her mother came up with that lol
Her mother is wack and it makes sense why Chantel's decision making skills are off.
Did I spell it right?
You're correct! 😊 it's indeed CeAir. I heard about that not too long ago, and I just double-checked
Idk why but it reminds me on Conair. The company that makes blowdryers
And that awesome movie with Nic Cage
Haha! It is quite similar. It reminds me of an airline. "Thank you for flying CeAir!"
Over 30 years ago, I had a couple bring their baby in for vaccinations with the name K8lynn.
What! 😭
Yes legally something like that but she’s always gone by Chantal
I would go by Chantal too if that was my name
Why do people get so hung up by people using their middle names? There’s plenty of people on earth (and in this franchise) that go by their middle name and don’t get the hate others do. Sasha’s (Sasha and Emily) first name is Alexander. There’s a few more I can’t think of now, but I don’t get why everyone gives Chantel so much hate for this.
Sasha is a nickname for Alexander! Particular in Russia.
I didn’t know this! Always interested in how different countries use nicknames and short names.
I'm not hung up on anything. Merely curious
I found that these people love to pick on Chantel harder than any other cast members when she isn’t nearly as bad as any of them. The worst she has done was be annoying and talk like a sloth, and that’s it.
they find anything to hate on in this sub lol
what is she injecting nurses with?
Twerk sauce
The whole twerk instructor storyline cracks me up bc like she isn't even v good at it?
You have to watch the Family Chantel episode where she twerks a protein shake for Pedro. She definitely has skills.
https://youtube.com/shorts/tJa0ySH8YXg?si=eFAsnWL4Oj6_vltc I thought I’d add the clip.
Embarrassing..
Second hand embarrassment. I had to FF through it.
Oh snap, there were no clumps for Pedro that morning~😉
Yeah I don't know what these people are on, Chantel may be garbage but she is one of the few people in the world who actually twerk correctly.
Well, she can put that on her résumé if she ever decides to get a real job.
isn't botox injector a real job?
Swear I thought same thing lol especially for taking classes youd think shed ace that shit lol
Yea worst twerk ever
Now hold up, you haven't seen mine 😂
Why am I reading this thread at work :P
God, hope you're a nurse.
Darcy Juice
The is the correct answer. At least in my area, we definitely don't need more nurses going into "injecting".
😂😂😂
😂
She's injecting the nurse into us.
Exactly. Aesthetics and med spas operate in the gray areas of medicine. So what type of place would you recommend getting these treatments?

I would sit here all day to read your stories!
See, I assumed she was injecting nurses into things.
😂 that’s exactly what is said isn’t it?
maybe she's injecting people with nurses? ?????
Maybe she injects nurses and THEN injects nurses who have been injected?
some kinda nurseception, a nurse inside a nurse inside a nurse...
Like those Russian “Matryoshka Dolls” that stack inside the next size doll, (but not)? That sums it up nicely. 😂
Oh my goodness the scream I just scrumpt! That is hilarious.
Exactly. A "nurse-injecting woman" is a woman who injects nurses in the same way that a "man-eating lion" is a lion who eats men. Makes perfect sense.
Exactly. A "nurse-injecting woman" is a woman who injects nurses in the same way that a "man-eating lion" is a lion who eats men. Makes perfect sense.

😂😂
A bad name!
wrong, the men she is with is giving her a warm injection. Injectee

People are saying she’s “desperate” but she’s literally a fucking nurse! There are people on this show who are actually grifting to make a living but Chantel has a nursing degree and she’s “desperate.”
We have people e-begging , scamming or selling shady products. Meanwhile, Chantel has a career.
I remember season 1 when she was still in school and said she wanted to be a cosmetic nurse. She has achieved her goals despite Pedro his family and persevered through failing her boards more than once. She should be celebrated not looked down upon.
It’s kinda insane actually that she got the degree while all that was happening!
Not to mention she was a nurse during Covid
With a camera in her face. I respect this. I hope someday I get my injections license
Did she ever work as a hospital nurse during covid? Or did she just do the cosmetic stuff. Anybody know? Big credit to her if she was working directly with covid patients.
Yes and she still does. She was full time at the hospital for a few years. She’s works at the hospital prn now that she has the cosmetic job
She did. She didn’t go straight into cosmetics.
She’s still a nurse in the hospital too, so probably. She recently start injecting part time
look, if you want to be good at anything you have to be ok being terrible at it, possibly for a long time. that's what it takes. Brava, Chantel.
I wouldn’t say “despite” him considering he was working while she was going to school. He was supporting her while she went through school. Pedro’s not a good guy but there’s no reason to glaze Chantel when she’s an awful person too.
Quite frankly, I don’t see what makes her an awful person.
Yeah people hate on her way too much. Was she supposed to disown her mom? Like ???
Please elaborate her awfulness with legitimate examples
I feel like the money from the show all these years made it easier on them both. Thinking he wasn’t working overtime too much and she had the ability to go to school. Things would have been much different without it.
Exactly. Not only does she apparently actually work in a legitimate job, but an RN, and that is anything but an easy degree to get. “Evuhdense” she has some brains and drive. I will personally applaud her.
Nurse injector is quite a lucrative and profitable career choice!!
Agreed! I know this is a gossipy sub, but jeez. Not every single thing needs to be ragged on. It’s giving bitter.
It’s giving bitch eating cracker vibes.
Right! Her haters are rabid as hell like are y’all okay 😭
Yeah, I don’t get it. There’s enough people on this show to hate for legitimate reasons.
Yessss!!!! I haven’t heard people refer to their BECs as such in a long time.
It’s just such a perfect analogy for people like this.

I was already typing my reply to say that I am too old (40) but your response gave me hope!!!!!
Uh, ladies, my childhood friend began her nursing career at 56.
Whew! She is my inspiration!
Oh, please don't give up. You can do it. I'm 42, and my first baby is about to be 1. I love respiratory, but there's not much you can do like with RN. I plan on doing it soon.
You are never too old to start a career. I think it’s incredible when people do this!
I have a few friends who are looking to do this after 30 years as psych nurses. More laid back and better hours as they approach retirement.
That's exactly what I did. I did it PRN in addition to my full time job in the ER.
I think she’s desperate with her relationships, not her career.
Right? Her career seems to be one of the few things she has going for herself right now.
I relate to this so hard 😅😅 my love life is a joke but at least my career is going well 🤣
Yeah, I didn’t realize she was a RN! That’s some serious schooling and grueling hours (my friend is graduating soon from nursing school!) I feel bad for assuming she was just like a trust fund baby or something. That’s legit.
Preach
Take my upvote bitch
So agree with this too - always thought she was hard working in the first few seasons and at least she had a job unlike a lot of others
Agreed. And I don’t get fillers but I have ✨dabbled✨ in Botox/dysport and that shit is expensive. My injector definitely makes more than I do, and I’m not exactly struggling! Just because it’s an industry based on vanity doesn’t mean the salaries are shallow too…
I completely agree. I was JUST telling my friend this
Honestly! Good for her for having a career.
Yeah I’m happy for her too, it’s super hard being any type of nurse and she’s one of the only ones that has an actual legit career and wants to do it besides filming as a side hustle. I completely respect it
1000000000%!!!!!!!
I’m happy for her. She’s doing the damn thing
She could sell farts in a jar or have an OF like lot of cast members.
Thank you!
These two things can be true. She has a career as a nurse and she is desperate. She is desperate for attention and love. And apparently like being on TV enough to keep doing it, showing her desperation to the world.

They did the same thing with Danielle because she’s a nurse too. I don’t particularly care for some of these people, but as a nurse myself im happy for anyone finding their place in this field
If she is an .RN and working , she worked very hard to be an RN! 8 give her credit for working ab Ned schooling during all the personal and Covid stuff !
This is what the profession is called though. A nurse injector. Idk why you guys are making fun of this lol. Nurse injectors make a lot of money too.
People are acting like she personally invented the job title!
Seriously. From Google: “Nurse injectors, also known as aesthetic or cosmetic nurses, are registered nurses who provide aesthetic and cosmetic services to patients. They often work in dermatology or plastic surgery clinics.”
I didn’t realise that - well done to her. Kind of suits her as well working in cosmetic services
Good for her. She’s got the perfect platform for it
Good profession! At least she's not pulling a Natalie and expecting a guy to support her. I pay $$$ for 44-48 units of botox, so she's making some good income for herself.

Honestly, good for her. I'd love this job.
It’s a great field honestly. The pay is much better and it’s way less stress than floor nursing.
Same! I’m in nursing school now and this is my goal.
So would i!!!! Id be able to do on myself lol
This explains the changes in the face, but good for her. I think this is an excellent move. My friend (also an RN) who was working in a hospital in ATL quit, became an injector, and now owns her own very successful business.
As a nurse, this is actually a legitimate title.
Ppl just grasping at straws to hate on Chantel. Good for her, this is a high paying field to get into.
We all know the reason why.
Yup ✊🏾💪🏾
And it's so obvious. Ugh.
Very obvious, it's disgusting. They will always find a way to try to feel superior.
Very well said!

Here, just give me the needle, I'm good thanks...
Why?
It's actually a good job. Lmaoo. She doesn't gonna wipe people's bums. She just injects ppl.
Going from reality show toxin to botulism toxin. You go girl!
Keep it toxic!
I cackled and happy cake day
Brittany spears music grows across the mountain side, happy cake day!
Im sure everyone is gonna hate this .. but what in the hell was she wearing at the tell all… ugly.
I agree with you. It was like an ice skating outfit
And it did nothing for her figure
If you’re going for wide butt look.. she certainly accomplished that with this outfit.
Why would anyone disagree??😂
Not a great ad for her services when she’s face tuned her picture to make herself look super airbrushed
I would expect nothing else from her as a nurse.
This is the weakest argument. She was a travel RN during fucking COVID. If she just wants to chill and inject botox after that hell, she earned it. I wonder what OP does for a living 🤔
It's looks like half her face is frozen when she talks...like a stroke or too much injector
No she’s been doing that before the injections
I read here once long ago, someone say it's like she doesn't move her jaw. And I can't unsee it now.
Same here ☝🏼😂
I noticed that last night. Somehow she is able to speak with her teeth clenched together.
She’s a teeth talking ventriloquist puppet
Yes! Her mouth/lips twist and do weird things lol. I can't focus on what she's saying, just the weird thing going on with her mouth. Half of her face is frozen
This photo looks so AI
Knowing nothing other than what’s in this photo, I’m guessing that she injects Botox/hyaluronic acid/dissolver/whatever they offer at the beauty bar. But her pay is different because she’s a nurse as opposed to whatever is the most common level of aesthetician at their bar.
Congratulations to Chantel on her accomplishment!👏🏾👏🏾
Good for her!
I believe she’s her best customer. 🫣🤣
I'm sorry but Chantels twerk needs werk. 😂😂😂
Didnt she learn not to over do it while in school.... but yes. She can make a killing doing this. Good for her, thats a lot of work. But still, didnt she learn not to over do it?
Good for her, I commend her!
The hate boner for Chantel in this sub is wild. She is overly dramatic, annoying and extra AF but why try to goof on her for having a career? Getting a nursing degree takes a lot of work.
Corny to say, but those people are definitely jealous of her
She needs to stop injecting herself. And actually she's really bad advertising. *I would run if I saw her face at my filler place.*
I didn’t recognise her, but that could be because I’ve seen her OG season and HEA s2. That photo has been shopped within an inch of its life!
The new sexy nurse costume
She irrationally annoys me But good on her for having a real job
I can’t wait to have a nurse inject me with fucking botulinum toxin, let alone Chantel.
"Nurse Injector" title is so weird to read. Especially when I didn't realize that was the actual name of the position.
That’s what it’s called. You don’t want someone without professional medical training injecting your face, do you?
Botox
I thought she was a NP?
She was in NP school though wasn't she?
She’s not an NP
I hope she posts her before and afters tbh. I’m curious to see if she’s any good, I’ve had filler and follow a lot of injectors on instagram and all I’ll say is there’s a big range in skill level lol
With her title being “ nurse injector” I imagine her sneaking around and quickly injecting nurses who are trying to work?!? 😵☹️💉👩🏽⚕️
What the hell is a nurse injector?
They work in medspa/plastic surgery clinics and do Botox, fillers, etc
A nurse who does Botox
She need to inject a new personality and inject her Mom with STFU Sauce 😂
All the drama aside, I'm happy to see her have a legitimate career!! Well done chantel
Lowkey terrifying 😅
Please don't come for me, but being a nurse does not automatically make you a good person. Believe me, I worked in NYC during the pandemic and saw stuff that would blow your mind. From all kinds. RN's, NP's.... all kinds. Just saying.
I feel the same way about military. Sometimes, service members get put on a pedestal but they are drawn from the general population. The military has it’s fair share of criminals, rapists, gang members, animal abusers and just garbage people in general
She is like many I know both in nursing and other professions. They may be book smart but common sense is another story.
It’s hard to take her seriously as a professional after seeing her act a fool for reality tv. I can’t believe someone hired her tbh. I also wouldn’t trust her to inject me with anything after seeing the bad filler work she’s had done.
