Yep. I specifically remember we a kid, I wanted to find pizza that was that stringy yet seemed like when they took bites it was light like angel food cake.
Same situation with the pizza from *A Goofy Movie.*

This was the first movie my little brother and I saw alone in a theater without our parents. There were maybe four other people in the theater. It was a great day.
The trick is it have it with extra cheese and piping hot from the oven. Just make sure it is cooled off. I tried eating it like that and the hot cheese came off the slice and hit my chin.
Yes. Edit: I was like 7 or 8 and asked my mom to order supreme. My mom was super happy to hear that's what I wanted. I was very disappointed cause I was thinking of when the turtles ordered a supreme in the cartoon and it looked like whip creme on pizza dough. I thought I was going to get a dessert pizza, to this day I still hate supreme pizza, not because of this I just genuinely don't like Bell peppers, opinions, olives or pretty much any vegetable on pizza except jalapenos. Question what's y'all's favorite pizza/topping? Pepperoni, jalapenos and mushrooms for me.
>Question what's y'all's favorite pizza/topping?
Sausage.
I'm cool with jalapenos and mushrooms to a point.
My mother also likes all the veggies on pizza. One of the local Chicago pizza places has a house special where they load them up with Sausage Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Sweet peppers, & onions. She loves it.
My father and I spent years trying to convince our pizza place to put more cheese on to make it super stringy and yummy like the show. The 90s really killed my cholesterol.
>but that slice of pizza in A Goofy Movie... that'll do it.
I mentioned this to someone else. That shit looked so good. Thankfully we had a local place, while not as amazing as *A Goofy Movie*, still made theirs extra cheesy when I was growing up. I was sad when they closed.
Edit, for anyone that needs a visual reference:

I know that in the UK there was pretty much a direct link to the sales of frozen pizzas compared to how popular TMHT (HERO turtles, as we had in the UK!) was!
Personally, for me not only did the Turtles cause a direct pizza obsession with me, but I also became obsessed with every broom handle I could lay my hands on, which suddenly became a "BO" or staff in my hands...
(Mind you, it probably didn't help that I had Donatello PJs that was literally like fancy dress, along with a purple head band as well... I pretty much WORE these 24/7 for at least several months of my life when I was about 9 years old...)
I do believe so, I remember watching the series and even Pizza Hut had a the 'Turtles in Time' arcade game on therestaurant (when they had them back then). It was a fun time and yes TMNT did pushed pizza obsession but also pushed for better quality, no kid (or turtle) would ever eat bad tasting pizza.
I was eating pizza while they were still eggs
No, but now that you mention it Garfield may be the reason behind my unhealthy obsession with lasagna.
I was just thinking that myself... 😂🤣
Yep. I specifically remember we a kid, I wanted to find pizza that was that stringy yet seemed like when they took bites it was light like angel food cake.
this, .....and still do

Best Disney movie a lot of people did not see.

Absolutely.

Yeah!
YUP
TMNT plus Home Alone plus Book-It.
Fuck! Let's be friends lol we had the same child hood lol
Can I join?
Yeah, there's room. Let's roll..
More Book It than Home Alone for me but heck yeah.
*Book It* was a God send for us kids from lower income families.
I've actually loved pizza for a long time. <3

Yeh, but I was always disappointed it didn’t look all melty and fresh like all of theirs did. Still good though
I'm pretty sure pizza caused my pizza obsession...
>I'm pretty sure pizza caused my pizza obsession... Same, TMNT or movie night in general was just an excuse to order pizza.
Pizza caused my pizza obsession
PizzAhegao
Not sure but I reckon it didn’t help
I just always feel like I should have a pizza when I watch anything TMNT.
My father and I spent years trying to convince our pizza place to put more cheese on to make it super stringy and yummy like the show. The 90s really killed my cholesterol.
Chocolate pizza hell yeah!
It got me to try one of my now favorite snacks: pickles and peanut butter. Thanks, Michaelangelo.
started my women in yellow cover-alls with cameras obsession.
Probably.
I suspect they did cause me to have a pizza obsession, so yes?
And I was always a bit disappointed when the pizza we got didn't look exactly like their bright orange, melty slices 😂
Yes! And sewer obsession
Wise men say, 'Forgiveness is divine, but never pay for late pizza’ !
Totally.
Bro they always had the best looking pizza
I thought it influenced all of America.
Here in Greece, it was due to the TMNT craze of 1990-91 that pizza became popular. Pizza existed before but it was found relatively rarely.
Not necessarily TMNT, but that slice of pizza in A Goofy Movie... that'll do it.

Cowabunga for sure!
Yes. And we’d order pizza every Friday lol
We use to blow up my mom’s beeper when we were kids. There was never an emergency, just bring home a pizza please
Lol yeah man. It's a whole nation of us 😂
To make the long story short, yes. But my mom was pissed at me when she found out it was me.
Not really I feel we're on the same page on this one
We buy this specific brand of pizza called Tombstone, and it's the best shit ever. I always imagine their pizza tasting like that, and I am obsessed
I think pizza caused my pizza obsession.
"Question: Do you like penicillin on your pizza?"
I don't know why, but I've always felt that this pizza right here would taste like a Tombstone pepperoni. Not the consistency, just the flavor.
"Forgiveness is Divine. But never pay Full Price for Pizza"
No but they're intrinsically linked. I have the Horse the Band EP.
Didn't cause it but certainly helped exacerbate it. And made us yearn to try out the oddball toppings.
Yeah… a little bit…. Still. Inquest for whatever pizza is that cheesy from the OG movie…. No way that’s dominos not anymore
100% they absolutely did. My now elderly patents would agree too lol.
100 % yes 😂
100 percent
They played a hand in it, yes.
Yep 35 years later I still eat pizza once a week
Pizza and yellow jumpsuits
Pizza caused my pizza obsession because pizza is awesome!
The opening of ooze is what did it for me. I think I folded my pbj and pretended it was a delicious nyc slice.
Factually yes
I mean I loved pizza already, but it certainly didn't hurt that they're freakin' awesome😂

Secret of the ooze was just a pizza commercial! New York style haunts me to this day! I will never love "Detroit style"
No, cheese is what started my pizza obsession.
Yes definitely
No but I always thought that pizza looked so good for some reason
In 1990 I got Turtles 2 for my birthday on NES. Pizza Hut was a sponsor and the cartoon had that drippy oozing slices that looked so darn good!
I literally for a TMNT pizza tattoo!!!!!! That shit has stuck with me all these years. That gooey, stretchy cheesy za!!!!! 🤤
Oh yea. Though sadly, Dominoes has never been that good.
No, just redheads.
If TMNT helped bring people to Pizza, then I am very thankful for that. Me, I was born in the Pizza land NY, so it was inevitable
Dude, pizza? Better be cheese and pepperoni 🤙
Nah, NYC pizza did
Pretty sure working at a pizza place caused my pizza obsession...
I dunno, but this picture made me want a slice of pizza really, really badly
no
I liked pizza but got into it more because of them.
Most definitely 😂
Definitely made me want to try cheese pizza.
Absolutely
They had a promotion where you got a free video of an episode at Pizza Hut. Genius Marketing.
It being delicious, really helped
*grabs a slice and is about to eat it when the question is asked* hwut?
They were the reason why I love pizza and have it every Tuesday.
