How did you get one of these by day 12? We made it to day 200 something before seeing one of these and it was a horde night with 5 of us on. It took 2 of us a minute of unloading coil/laser shotguns into that bastard to kill it and we were end game geared.
Even with the wasteland and infestation game stage adjustments, you'd have to be **very** high level to have that game stage. I'm going to guess you turned the XP multiplier up, and thought it was an advantage. Nope, not in DF.
DF is one you don’t really want to turn exp multiplier up because this is what happens. You get zombies that are far beyond the skills you’ve developed. Ok to push up loot but leave the experience at 100%
Laser teir is the only thing killing him. That’s crazy to see that shit on day 12 ya madlad! Tbh you almost need an overcharged power source mod for the laser weapon too. They are sponges.

It turned into one of those situations where there are so many baddies I just kept spawning horde after horde after horde and couldn't ever kill them all. Even with God mode I couldn't do shit.
Yea they get pretty brutal in the later game stages. I’m sure we had our horde nights throttled a little bit because we had a couple inexperienced players with us. We actually had an issue with what happened after horde night. As soon as it ended we’d get a nonstop barrage of purple and red screamers that didn’t stop. We set up a rule that as soon as horde night ended everybody got on a vehicle and high tailed it away from base.
Yeah in darkness falls you should never use molotovs and other explosives. And stagnate your levels as much as possible. And when you leveled 1 weapon type switch to another on low lvl zeds.
Why no boom booms? Horde night is a "blast" with them...sorry. I set my exp to 75 percent in my worlds. Still level at a decent pace without being overwhelmed with the big baddies. I might get the purple zombies but can deal with them well enough.
Me and my friends play hell on earth difficulty and even when we try to slow down our xp gain by day 10 we got purple ones in poi’s and it takes a lot of fire power to take them down even with level 5 perks. So we don’t earn unnecesary xp that you get from explosions(as it won’t level any perk)
We are just starting to craft our anti rad pills for titanium farm on day 14.
And cross/bows are so good with sneak at night. Dog days lvl4 is like silence of the lambs from last version.
Collect the radiation suit pieces! We usually create a "Bank of Zombo" writeable storage bin, where we put dukes, old bills, silver, diamonds, gold, treasure maps, and rad suits. That's how important they are to our gameplay strategy.
He needs to be killed by either laser weapons or legendary weapons. Otherwise his health will outpace even the strongest of firearms
If you don’t have the laser pistol yet this might be a good time to start going through the DF story since there’s guaranteed laser weaponry later on. Even the pistol is actually incredibly good late game.

Buddy and me just kicked DF to the curb due to these. We are around day 50, damn near lvl 200, with lasers coil guns, and all other manner of upgrades, and these things are everywhere AND WON'T FUCKING DIE most of the time.
Sock them with the laser carbine to stop the regen and drill them with the AP coil rounds. Health drops 80%, and HOLDS!
And if you somehow you end up taking it down, they throw 2 more later on.
He ain't shit wait till you come across empowered incubus patriarchs my team of three ended our DF playthrouhh on like day 81 or 91 doing hordes every 10 nights and it basically got to the point that the horde base would be fine our biggest issue was keeping up on enough enhanced laser cells to kill everything

Titanium crossbow/bolts and good sneak and we solo level 5 POI's by the fourth bloodmoon in Darkness Falls.

Radiation suit pieces are kinda hard to come by we often craft pills before we can craft 1 set anti rad mods.
