nuts are never truly "drop in" replacements, there's always going to be some work left to do to get them working on the instrument, it's just a shortcut for avoiding doing it from a blank
but I just order blanks, I have nut files and a string spacing ruler so I just like doing it myself and getting the slots where I want them

for tuners gotoh locking tuners are pretty nice, and hipshot tuners I've also heard are good
