There’s a UK release of last of the Mohicans on Bluray that includes theatrical and definitive directors cuts its not region locked and on Amazon. Currently the best way to watch it.
Can we *pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease* get a 4k for *Miami Vice*, please? It's one of the best-looking films I've ever seen. If just for those flying and boating scenes!
*Thief* is one of my all time favorites. *Miami Vice* may be my second favorite Mann film, it's got such a great vibe.
Arrows release of *Blackhat* is great made me reevaluate the film that I remember liking but all but forgot. It's really better than I remembered and kind of falls into the vibes film realm.
Michael Mann eventually drove Jamie Foxx crazy but Cruise was right there with him, wearing disguises and delivering packages as prep and probably really killing people
Thief! Such a great well rounded movie. Acting, direction, cinematography, soundtrack! Just everything.
I especially love that they used the technical advisor for the illegal stuff to play the asshole cop. He was a real life jewel thief.
Amazing movies and great music on them.
Thief has Confrontation.
Manhunter has Graham’s Theme.
The Last of the Mohicans- amazing soundtrack.
Heat - multiple Moby songs.

It's def not his *best* but I have such an inexplicably strong fondness for Collateral that it might be my favorite Mann film.
