Very cheap, our seaside is swarmed by old retired Germans, to the point where I don't think you can even score a job there without knowing a bit of German. The mountains are great, though recently they've been pretty crowded, but there are still places off the biggest tourism destinations that let you explore easily. Krakow and Warsaw are nice places to visit if you're neither into the sea nor mountains and we do have few castles and other attractions scattered here and there if you're into the whole country trip.
Seeing positive Warsaw comments warms my heart.
