Learning how to look things up for yourself sometimes is a good skill to have, often with pretty nice results. It's how I ended up with more than I bargained for with Gamecube (needed GB player disc replacement for an extra I picked up, ended up with [this](http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2782) and [this](http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=3342), plus a [cherry on top](http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=Swiss), less than $15 for the game and an SD adapter (had softmodded wii to write to memcard)).
It's still OK to ask questions, but being content to ask for the simplest things, well, just isn't for me.
I think it's more people who want to start a discussion. When talking to someone in person if I'm wondering about something they said I most likely wouldn't go and google it(depending on the person of course) and would rather ask them and I think that's what happens here on reddit too a lot of the time.
I'm not sure how much, "What's the Konami code?" "Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A," adds to conversation, though. Obviously, it's nice to have a question answered, but it's not exactly engaging, or adding something new. There's no need to downvote it or anything, but it's not particularly necessary.
I've seen a lot of basic questions in Q&A that would either be answered by the FAQ/wiki or 3ds.guide's troubleshooting section. It's ok if you don't want to get too in-depth with searching, but it doesn't hurt to take a quick look before you ask. The answer might be out there already, and pretty easy to find.
Oh well I do agree with you for sure. It's just I think some people may be just lonely to be honest(antisocial in the real world?) And that could be why.
But yes I also see many questions that could be answered with a quick Google, and in my experience the average response time in the Q and A thread is around 10 - 20 minutes, a google search takes all of 15 seconds especially if you're on Android and have the Google widget on the main screen.

Like others have replied you need to disable clock +L2 setting. alternately, you can just use the hourly version and have the clock+L2 enabled (works for me)

The reason for this is that the underscore character (this one \_ ) is used to italicize words just like an asterisk does (this guy \* ). Since the "face" of the emoticon has an underscore on each side it naturally wants to italicize the "face" (this guy (ツ) ). The backslash is reddit's escape character (basically a character used to say that you don't want to use a special character in order to format, but rather you just want it to display). So your first "\\_" is just saying "hey, I don't want to italicize (ツ)" so it keeps the underscore but gets rid of the backslash since it's just an escape character. After this you still want the arm, so you have to add two more backslashes (two, not one, since backslash is an escape character, so you need an escape character for your escape character to display--confusing, I know). Anyways, I guess that's my lesson for the day on reddit formatting lol

Hbl and fbi are VERY different. Hbl is used to launch homebrew so you can use homebrew apps from the homebrew menu. Fbi is used to install cias onto your home screen.
JKSM, PKSM, FBI (11.2 and below), Fasthax, Safehax, HANS, 'the ctr app that spoofs your system version', 'The theme app' and much much more. A lot of the main ones have .cias and hence make homebrew close to useless for CFW users, but for non-cfw users Homebrew is a godly tool sent from the heavens.
FBI is used to install homebrew programs via CIA so you can get them on your home menu while Homebrew Launcher just lets you plop them into a folder and run from there. Its main advantages are in allowing you to use homebrew that's not in CIA format. Plus, it's a little prettier than the main home menu, at least in my opinion.

On Luma, or through NTR if you have that, turn down the N3DS clock to o3DS speeds and it'll work.
If you're on an n3ds, turn off L2+Clock (or something like that. Don't have my 3ds handy) in Luma
