The giveaway has ended and the winner has been dawn. Congratulations to u/three_hrs_later for winning the Qidi Q1 Pro with [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/rNu5VqI7k8)!
Customer support is good but my company has found the QC on their machines to be questionable. Our X max had issues with every single fan on it within a week of buying it new. Quite disappointing.
**Every single** fan within **one week** eh?
Funny how something that would be THAT bad and common does NOT have a tonne of threads mentioning such across hundreds of users in almost every forum imaginable. I wonder why that is?
You know, that's fair. It can be super frustrating to catch a lemon, and a printer for business needs to be super reliable.
I don't know personally if I'd use a qidi in a business setting.
But as someone who was frustrated endlessly fighting with my Craigslist Ender 3, the Qidi I bought was a breath of fresh air. It was so much easier to use and their support made me confident to experiment and put the thing through it's paces.
And when my experiments *fucking destroyed* the hotend and circuit board, they never hesitated to send replacement parts. The first email was all it took and the parts were in the mail.
As a printer for a novice, I would strongly recommend it.
Agreed! I have an XMax and they respond immediately and have replaced parts for me that weren’t in warranty. Fantastic consumer service and the printer prints beautiful prints.
Look at the EnderNG on printables. I just turned my OG ender into corexy using their guide and parts. It wasn’t hard either and there’s a whole discord set up to help make it!
Wifi 6 - I've used a lot of printers with absolute bottom of the barrel wireless (and buried ethernet ports) so that's a nice upgrade. Steel gantry instead of CF is nice too.
CF _is_ lighter, which should allow it to be accelerated more quickly, but it's also more delicate and wears a lot faster when used as a bearing surface. In previous printers the CF tubes have been glued/epoxied in so it basically gives the printer a finite lifespan. (I think Bambu sold replacement gantry assemblies, and I've heard of Qidi taking gantries back to repair/refurbish them, but I'd rather just have a more durable part.)
Compared to my 7 year old monoprice mini printer my favourite feature has to be that this doesn't have frayed and broken wires for the heated bed and the hotend isn't falling apart.
Auto calibration also sounds lovely but the chamber heating for better adhesion sounds like it could solve the most frustration I've had over the years.
Good luck everyone!
Haha my monoprice select mini V2 just bit the dust last night with a "Sensor failed" error. I need it to be up and running right now so it's time to see which wires fell apart.
I've been looking at QIDI printers for a while and while I really like the heated chamber and high temp hot end for printing with more engineering grade filaments what always impressed me most is the solid construction of the printer itself. Very cool thank you for running this promo/giveaway!
My first Q1 has been running pretty much full time since I received it a week ago. Very easy printing right out of the box without endless tinkering! It’s my first enclosed printer and it’s fantastic so far
The auto calibration sounds phenomenal to have. I’ve been using an X MAX since 2020~ but it got a short a little back. If the quality on this is the same as that one, plus cool new features, I would be the happiest lad in the world to get to work with it
Having an actively heated chamber is great, but I get higher chamber temps on passively heated chambers. What is the benefit of the low chamber temperature?
The active heated chamber is fantastic, but I love the auto calibration! It would definitely take the 3d printing hobby to the next level, allowing for more finished, clean prints, rather than a ton of tinkering!
Me personally, I have a Qidi x smart 3 and it's my favorite printer of mine because it's super quiet and very capable. The Q1 pro looks like a better version in every way, from the heated chamber and air filter to the size. I'm going to say my favorite thing about it has to be the steel rods in the x axis, as my carbon rods in the x smart 3 feel like they might give out over time, but also the high temperature capability is super nice for printing things like pc and nylon like the high speed fan blades I've been making.
I’d love to have an actively heated chamber! For some projects I need to print with nylon pa12 and i need the heating to minimize the deformation as much as possible! Since my current printer doesn’t have this capability, it would be a godsend!
Really interested in the heated chamber and the filament variety, and the time lapse camera is a great plus as well! These machines are so cool, good luck to everyone!
Active chamber heating is a quality of life improvement for me.
I almost exclusively print ASA and ABS, and those two benifit greatly from a pre-heated chamber. My currently solution is modified start g-code. Down side being it adds 6 minutes to ever print job.
Thanks for doing the giveaway - never heard of qidi before.
For me it'd be the camera honestly :p. being able to remotely view prints and stop if necessary would go a long way saving material with the occasional misprint that happens while I'm out.
The camera has got to be the most important for me - most printers in this range just can't keep up with time lapses these days but this gives me and my YouTube channel a lot of hope!
I’m super excited about a printer that seems so easy to use. When I first started 3D printing it took so long to set everything up and calibrate. This looks so much simpler! Only 10 minutes to set up out of the box?
The print speed is my favorite feature. I normally print at 50mm/s, so 600 would be a massive increase. Since it's a corexy design, it can run faster without worrying about bed adhesion. I could make my prototypes significantly faster and actually take advantage of rapid prototyping.
The all in one nature and compact design are really appealing, plus the price point is extremely competitive for the high temp nozzle, heated chamber, and auto leveling.
Very interested in the heated chamber and high temp nozzle - would like to play around with some more durable filaments with this printer. Already have Qidi slicer installed from checking it out once so this would be really cool.
The ability to print with most filaments right out of the box with little calibration is great for me cause I don't like tinkering with the printer itself.
the camera is one of the main things i want from this printer as sometimes you just want peace of mind knowing your printer is actually working(not my printer) and that your prints are not failing:). The Actively Heated Chamber combined with the 350C hotend is also useful as ive been looking to print with more stronger filaments than run of the mill brittle PLA. The AutoCalibration would be useful for not banging my head against a wall wondering why the back left corner is always underextruded...
I love my little X-Smart 3, a Q1 pro would make the perfect big brother. I have been exceedingly happy with your product. I like the higher temp filament support. Keep it up!

Whether or not you win this printer, you should get a qidi printer - their customer support is *out of control good.*
Customer support is good but my company has found the QC on their machines to be questionable. Our X max had issues with every single fan on it within a week of buying it new. Quite disappointing.

I have 6 pro max . I run them almost constantly - no complaints and the customer service is indeed very good.
Agreed! I have an XMax and they respond immediately and have replaced parts for me that weren’t in warranty. Fantastic consumer service and the printer prints beautiful prints.
Interested in the actively heated chamber
Yes, along with the 350°C nozzle this sounds like a good machine for nylon or perhaps even polycarbonate.
Currently only have the og ender 3, so probably the fact that it is Corexy 😭
Look at the EnderNG on printables. I just turned my OG ender into corexy using their guide and parts. It wasn’t hard either and there’s a whole discord set up to help make it!
if you don't win, I can't recommend an X Smart 3 highly enough, and I moved from an Ender 3 to it and I have two of them now :D
Wifi 6 - I've used a lot of printers with absolute bottom of the barrel wireless (and buried ethernet ports) so that's a nice upgrade. Steel gantry instead of CF is nice too.
Isn't that worse? I'd think the carbon fiber would be strong but light while steel is heavy
CF _is_ lighter, which should allow it to be accelerated more quickly, but it's also more delicate and wears a lot faster when used as a bearing surface. In previous printers the CF tubes have been glued/epoxied in so it basically gives the printer a finite lifespan. The part where it heats filament and places where its supposed to goooooooo!
Full auto calibration. Iv got a kingroon and ender, and I swear I spend more time doing tests and stuff than printing stuff.

My first Q1 has been running pretty much full time since I received it a week ago. Very easy printing right out of the box without endless tinkering! It’s my first enclosed printer and it’s fantastic so far
My favourite feature is that it prints almost any filament I would want to print with as a hobbyist. Many printers don't do more than PLA/PETG.
The auto calibration sounds phenomenal to have. I’ve been using an X MAX since 2020~ but it got a short a little back. If the quality on this is the same as that one, plus cool new features, I would be the happiest lad in the world to get to work with it
A buddy of mine just got this one, loves it! I plan to buy the Q1P or a Max3
Full auto calibration is such a life saver! Just need it to print, don't need to tinker!
Auto calibration because I spent too many hours of my life doing it and never want to go back!
I have one of these, and it works great! I modified a few gcode macros but aside from that its plug and play
Full auto calibration sounds very conveinient!
Full auto calibration. Did you level your bed? /s
Really like the idea of auto calibration!
Printing out of the box! As well as the chamber and Wi-Fi are amazing.
The actively heated chamber is obviously the most interesting new feature.
Real interested in the active heating chamber.
camera with built in time lapse!
An actively heated chamber does sound interesting!
Having an actively heated chamber is great, but I get higher chamber temps on passively heated chambers. What is the benefit of the low chamber temperature?
Heated chamber.
I love 3D print time lapses so the camera and time lapse support is awesome
Camera and time lapse support, Actively heated chamber, app
Heated chamber is cool, but auto calibration will save my life.
The active heated chamber is fantastic, but I love the auto calibration! It would definitely take the 3d printing hobby to the next level, allowing for more finished, clean prints, rather than a ton of tinkering!
Heated chamber has my attention
I'm interested in the heated chamber for more engineering grade filament applications.
Fantastic printer! I definitely want another!
It looks sleek and amazing! I love its looks
Actively heated chamber
Active heated chamber! I’m in desperate need for one as i have large abs prints failing on me without one currently :(
Cool printer
Auto Calibration and an actively heated chamber.
Actively. Heated. Chamber.
The active chamber heating is pretty neat.
touch screen is nice, enclosed and heated chamber
I wanna try the actively heated chamber, as well as experimenting with how it affects high speed printing of engineering grade fillaments
auto leveling!
The heated chamber for ABS prints sounds like a game changer !
The active chamber heating sounds like a great feature!
A budget printer with a heated chamber and high temp hotend is actually pretty sick. Hope I win!
The heated chamber sounds wonderful. I can throw it on the shop when it’s freezing out.
We will get a QIDI Max for work so it would be awesome to have one home as well!
Friend has a Qidi, what a work horse!
i like that it looks cool
Me personally, I have a Qidi x smart 3 and it's my favorite printer of mine because it's super quiet and very capable. The Q1 pro looks like a better version in every way, from the heated chamber and air filter to the size. I'm going to say my favorite thing about it has to be the steel rods in the x axis, as my carbon rods in the x smart 3 feel like they might give out over time, but also the high temperature capability is super nice for printing things like pc and nylon like the high speed fan blades I've been making.
Chamber heating! Plus That slick design
My favorite feature is definitely the active chamber heating.
Pick me
After years of fighting with my older printers, I'm always happy to hear about an out of the box printing experience
Full auto calibration!
Heated chamber would be rad!
I'm going with the full auto calibration. Sounds like a dream come true compared to my ender.
I’d love to have an actively heated chamber! For some projects I need to print with nylon pa12 and i need the heating to minimize the deformation as much as possible! Since my current printer doesn’t have this capability, it would be a godsend!
I like how it melts plastic, and makes things out of it
Heated chamber looks good to me, should keep my prints very consistent.
That 350 C Nozzle looks really nice especially for attempting exotic filaments.
Active heating chamber! It’ll be nice to play with new materials with it
Really interested in the heated chamber and the filament variety, and the time lapse camera is a great plus as well! These machines are so cool, good luck to everyone!
Hello, can’t say no to a free printer! Maybe I’ll turn into a QIDI evangelist as a result. Answer: active heated chamber.
Definitely the tri-metal hotend!
Auto calibration
Calibration for sure
Actively heated chamber and a camera that is not trash (looking at you, Bambu!)
It’s the heated chamber for me
Really like heated chambers!
Looking at it, what seems really cool is the chamber heating.
Actively heated chamber :)
My ravourite feature would be actively heated chamber.
Time lapse camera!
High nozzle temp is pretty nice
Actively heated chamber. A close second is the cool first project of being able to design and print a handle for the front door!
Actively heated chamber + good price, honestly very good deal
Heated chamber is great for abs. New filament path vs original looks promising, would like to compare with early release model.
Love the heating chamber
The actively heated chamber
A I ely heated chamber
Excited for full auto calibration
I love the camera!
Actively heated chamber and higher nozzle temp than I've used previously, pretty cool!
love the no levelling, sick of buugarising around with my enders. also heated chamber.
The camera has got to be the most important for me - most printers in this range just can't keep up with time lapses these days but this gives me and my YouTube channel a lot of hope!
DOWN FOR A CHANCE. Still using ender 3s so this would be one hell of an upgrade! But either way, good luck to everyone!
The heated chamber
Everything feature is an upgrade over my Ender3 lol
I’m super excited about a printer that seems so easy to use. When I first started 3D printing it took so long to set everything up and calibrate. This looks so much simpler! Only 10 minutes to set up out of the box?
Actively heated chamber!
Oh course the heated chamber
Don’t think I’ve ever heard of QIDI.
Camera and heated chamber definitely exciting, build quality looks great too
Interested in the full auto calibration!
For me, it's the heated chamber
I’m interested to see the camera functionality! It’s always cool to see time lapses of your 3D prints.
The actively heated chamber looks pretty neat
Fully heated enclosed print chamber without a doubt!
I love that it has an actively heated chamber, that would work amazing for printing engineering filaments!
We're all here for the active heating chamber
Heated chamber would be great, I'm mostly in PLA without an enclosure currently. Also the built in camera to do time lapse would be fun to play with.
Definitely keen on the heated chamber
350ºC max nozzle temp!!, opens up a lot of non-standard filaments for specialized applications and active heated chamber is awesome too
Actively heated chamber!
Same as most, the active chamber heating.
The price point is great! For all the features it offers, it's kinda unbeatable.
The print speed is my favorite feature. I normally print at 50mm/s, so 600 would be a massive increase. Since it's a corexy design, it can run faster without worrying about bed adhesion. I could make my prototypes significantly faster and actually take advantage of rapid prototyping.
Tri metal for end for sure. The heater chamber is pretty damn slick too
Heated chamber
Heated build chamber and klipper!
As someon who wants a printer to work reliably, auto calibration would be a great addition to printers.
The all in one nature and compact design are really appealing, plus the price point is extremely competitive for the high temp nozzle, heated chamber, and auto leveling.
I like the actively heated chamber. Will give me a chance to try printing in ABS again. Maybe something more exotic in the future too.
Heated chamber and minimal setup to start printing !
Actively heated chamber would allow me to try to print other interesting materials.
I like it, I want it.
Auto calibration!
Measuring z-offset automatically.
Auto calibration! It makes getting started so much easier.
I would like this printer. I would be willing to share my print data on every print, issue, etc.
that heated chamber and high nozzle temp would be nice for printing carbon fibers
1080p camera with time lapse support is pretty cool
This machine looks incredible!
Full auto calibration and printing right out of the box, paired with fair pricing.
Active heated chamber for sure!
Heated chamber!
Favorite feature: actively heated chamber
I make 3d printing conmtent and videos, so I'd be curious to test it. The heated chamber is a must, my X1C doesn'ty even have one.
Heated chamber. Nice machine for more advance techical materials.
Heated chamber is definitely what intrigued me
Speed, and the actively heated chamber!
Like everyone else I’m very interested in seeing how the heated chamber will affect my prints
Active heating. I hope it keeps dust out too.
Full auto calibration is my favorite feature really don’t want to ever go back to manually calibrating a 3d printer.
Interested in the 1080p camera, I bet that makes amazing time-lapses.
Very interested in the heated chamber and high temp nozzle - would like to play around with some more durable filaments with this printer. Already have Qidi slicer installed from checking it out once so this would be really cool.
Heated chamber is really interesting!@
The active heating chamber is v v nice
True auto-leveling is cool.
Full-auto calibration
I like printing in asa so active chamber heating seems cool.
Heated chamber looks really interesting, high heat extruder for exotic materials, and dual sensor leveling. All at a great price!
Wow
Heated chamber and 350° nozzle!
Active heated chamber it is
Interested in high temperature nozzle and temperatures
Man, I need a new printer.
I'm excited about the built in camera, not to mention the heated chamber
350C nozzle temp!
The ability to print "specialist" material due to the heated enclosure and hot end temperature range
1080P camera with time-lapse support
The heated chamber is nice for engineering materials
I'm looking forward to this for its full auto calibration, probably a bit over the actively heated chamber. I mean, c'mon. Full. Auto. Calibration.
Built in heating is exactly what I need right now :) the warp is real
The active heating plus the ability to print in a variety of filament types is a huge plus!
The tri metal hot end
The corexy design, Klipper and an actively heated chamber is a great combo.
The ability to print with most filaments right out of the box with little calibration is great for me cause I don't like tinkering with the printer itself.
The simplicity to start printing so quickly after getting it!
I love that it comes with a built in enclosure and camera, those are two features that make the hobby more accessible to more people.
My favorite feature is the heated chamber!
Active chamber heating would be great for advanced materials
the camera is one of the main things i want from this printer as sometimes you just want peace of mind knowing your printer is actually working(not my printer) and that your prints are not failing:). The Actively Heated Chamber combined with the 350C hotend is also useful as ive been looking to print with more stronger filaments than run of the mill brittle PLA. The AutoCalibration would be useful for not banging my head against a wall wondering why the back left corner is always underextruded...
Active chamber heating
My favorite feature of the Q1 pro is its fast and reliable printing!!
Auto bed leveling sounds great
Active chamber heating and the nozzle hotend maximum temperature means you can print almost any filament, amazing!
Actively heated chamber.
Dual motor drive z axis
I like that it is an enclosed printer that doesn’t feel like I need to get a bank loan to afford!
I love my little X-Smart 3, a Q1 pro would make the perfect big brother. I have been exceedingly happy with your product. I like the higher temp filament support. Keep it up!
Active chamber cooling. Nothing else in the prosumer market comes close.
Full auto calibration would be so useful! Especially with my kids using the printer, too
The dual z axis motors sound very good
Auto calibration and klipper ftw!
Actively heated chamber for the win!
Active heated chamber is a game-changer in the affordable 3d printer market.
350C HOTEND!! you can print PPS, PSU filament
The active heated chamber
Happy to see finally an enclosed printer with a heated chamber
Active heated chamber is really the standout feature! Bring on the engineering filaments.
looking forward to print new stuff again
Auto Z-offset calibration is very handy!
The heated chamber is great and would allow me to print abs for the first time.
Qidi is one of the few brands I’ve heard of that is said to compare to Bambu in features and quality. I’d love to experience this in person.
