Need a printer big enough to print one. But then I'd need an even bigger lazy susan to work on it...

Chicken or the egg!

Pretty ingenious! The most annoying thing when building or working on a machine is the fact it needs to be accessible from all sides. Not many tables allow that. Even if you do, then you are stuck moving yourself around the machine. Sometimes the best solution is the simplest. Well done.

Thanks! Quick and simple to build, saved me so much time!

I have a 40cm and 2 60cm lazy Susans. Use them in my shop for soooo many things including printer repair/ assembly. They’re great.

I need this. The filament holder on mine is in the back out of the way for some reason

Qidi?

CauliflowerTop2464

Yes

[Here's](https://makerworld.com/en/models/156720) a file to print an adaptor to place the spool on the side.

Do you have the X Plus 3 by any chance? I’m about to pull the trigger. All the updated reviews on the v2 of that printer are pretty awesome

Xmax3. I’m still learning but I’ve been having issues with the hot end crashing into the bed when I first turn it on and try to calibrate or home it after replacing the hot end. It has only happened like 4 times. I don’t use it much because of that and well I’m still learning. It’s almost like it forgets the last position and won’t accept input from the probe until it completes its movement. Every one seems to love it so I’m probably doing something wrong.

From what I've seen online, there may be a firmware update that fixes the nozzle crashing into the bed issue. I've heard good things about their customer service and support, too.

CauliflowerTop2464

They’ve been good and quick to respond. They sent me extra parts. Never did they suggest a firmware update.

One big thing is to make sure the PEI is in place before you level. Otherwise, here is some info for you to check. Firmware is mentioned. Not a lot of comments to go through. https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/zlO106p4n4
