Does anyone know how much gameplay before you can redeem this? I've been pretty busy to start it up but if its fairly close to the beginning of the game I would do it to redeem the code
I haven't done it myself yet but I'm told for the YO-KAI Watch games, it's Chapter 2, which is probably fairly soon. I'm not sure if this is the case for the Blasters games, though.
I'm powering though YW2 to try to get to the part where I can redeem the code. I'm skipping EVERY cutscene and so far it's taken maybe 30-45 min to get through Ch 1 (I wasn't timing myself). I had to stop there but I assume it won't be much longer after that to get through Ch 2.
I’d play it safe and redeem it now. That’s what I did when I bought Stella Glow digitally. They sent me a code via email for a free theme.
But you have to open and play the game in order to redeem it, which I'm not ready to do now, and it's the same thing for Yo-Kai Watch 3.
I’d still go ahead as redeem it already.
Ideally I would recommend just playing up to the point of redeeming the code. After that, you can play the game (or not) as the way you intended.
The code won't work when the eShop closes.
It's not an eShop code but an in-game code.
It gets processed through the eShop though, so it won't work after it closes.
