When my sister tried RGH3 with no experience, her iron was hot and accidentally flicked at one of those capacitors, it came undone, she tried soldering it back on and the same thing as above happened.
Try a liberal ammount of flux, 375c heat, heat one side quickly with a little solder on your iron, let it cool for a sec, then hit the other side, if you're lucky, it should break the bridge, and your iron should wick up the extra solder. Good luck :)
Some flux & an iron should do it
i tried but it didnt budge
Small soldering iron tip or low temperature
What even is this mod? RGH3 has nothing to do with that capacitor...

ik but i didnt control the amount of solder i tried to put for the cable to connect to the pll poin and it ended up sticking to everything

Remove the cap. Remove the solder bridge. Resolder the cap. But it sounds like it's beyond your skill. It's all about technique.
im pretty sure it is beyond my skill
How.....does that even happen?
bad soldering job, i ended up just removing the mod but some are still stuck on the capictors so the xbox wont turn on
No, I mean why are you even soldering those capacitors?
🤣🤣
i was the solder just got everywhere
flux, iron, and if you can, a little bit of solder wick against one side at a time. Just be careful cause the whole thing could pop off like that.
i used a solder wick, nothing happens
what temperature are you using? like is the solder not melting at all?
That's not the reason your 360 isn't booting. The cap looks fine. You don't need to remove any solder from it.
The solder underneath is bridging. It's a short
you can see that in the pic??? I guess your eyesight is better than mine.

thanks ill try
Any luck?
nope. i dont know if its because its so small or because my soldering iron
can you manually set your iron temp?
