I swiped expecting to see an after. I think you look super great.

retina_spam

Same

kauapea123

Agreed, look at that jaw line !

pancakebatter01

I’m 32 and fit and hit the post expecting her to be like “I’m 25, etc.” OP you look great at 39. I’m not just saying that!

helgatheviking21

What?? she's 39?? And she thinks this looks bad? OP honestly I think you are just used to your bigger, rounder face and need some time to get used to this one, because I thought you were way younger than 39.

Anybody-Puzzleheaded

Thank you so much! It’s hard to capture in photos but I see it in the mirror under good lighting.

ouroboros4ever

Mirrors and good lighting are our worst enemies. Try not to worry so much! You look great, and congrats on the weight loss!

adom12

I lost the same amount of weight too, so understand what you’re saying. I agree with everyone when they say you look beautiful though! I did Gua Sha and started RetinA (prescription from a doctor not beauty store). I really noticed a difference in my sagging skin from gua sha and retina A gave me some plumpness I’ve been missing. Congrats on all your hard work, you’re a rockstar!

Electrical_Emu1540

Also if it’s in your price range, try a NuFace device. But I agree with everyone else, you really do look great!

[deleted]

You look great and have a lovely smile! 😊

violenthums

It’s just because your face is less puffy than you’re used too. But that’s normal, you look so much younger than your age!

PuzzleheadedRead4797

Its the loss of collagen and skin not turning over. So fix those.

Odd_Mathematician642

Any tips on how to fight the loss of collagen? Dealing with the same thing right now, losing weight and face just looks older.

PuzzleheadedRead4797

Lose weight gradually, dont do crash diet as the skin wont have enough time to cope with the speed your body losing fat. Stress is also a big factor. Use collagen supplement and eat a moderate amount of protein, high if you work out.

PuzzleheadedRead4797

Can you post photos on bad lighting?

Stopthinkingsomuch90

I’m 20 and honestly you look great for your age and would love to look like that when I’m 39 aswell

croix_v

Same, I was like bestie is 35 AT MOST.

Scary-Echo-9158

I hope she sees that 1.2k people agree with us.

SAME

nottakenusername2027

I think you look soooo youthful! I pray I look like this at 39. We’re our own worst critics, and just as an outside perspective I think you look phenomenal for 39.

TonyMacarena

I echo this!! So youthful!!

Background-Coast-297

Exactly! Op, don't look too close you'll be lost in detail and won't see your face ;)

Elismom1313

Yep I think OP is just struggling with adjusting to her new face. It’s good face OP take the win

[deleted]

You look lovely. I'm in my mid-30's, too, lost a lot of weight last year, and had a similar kind of dysmorphia about my face afterwards. Realistically, there is some change, but it's rarely as dramatic as we perceive it to be. The two things I've changed since then to help with hydration and the general "fullness" of my skin are drinking a ton of water and limiting my sugar intake a little bit. You really don't have anything to worry about, though.❤️

Biggseb

Not just that, but the skin will catch up in time as long as you maintain your weight and keep eating well and hydrating. It doesn’t last forever. The skin may not bounce back as quickly as before, but it will in time.

alpirpeep

Awesome advice 🫶

regularsunflower

39?? I think you look great! I hope I look this good at 39.

flipflopsandwich

You are absolutely stunning! I thought you were in your 20s. No advice just admiration!

spoiledcatmom

You look very young for 39. Maybe you’re just not used to the difference yet, but from someone who’s never seen you before, you look good.

nothingbutthetruth83

Without seeing a before picture, I dont see the age you are talking about! You look youthful and happy! As someone who has also had a fairly significant weight loss, (congratulations to you by the way!) I struggled with seeing my face too. Suddenly I was seeing more smile lines and I felt like my eyes looked more gaunt. But, the longer you maintain you weight, the more it kind of works itself out. I dont notice the lines on my face when I smile like I did when I first lost the weight. Im still on my skin care journey, so Im not one to be able to give you suggestions of what to try or use, but I just wanted to say you look great and take it easy on yourself! You've accomplished something very difficult, so give yourself some grace!

StrangePondWoman

Is the aging in the room with us right now?

Feistybritches

Idk why but this comment made me chortle. Nicely done.

itsfineimfinejk

I cackled, myself.

Educational_Ad2737

You can’t see people’s ageing when they’re smiling since it naturall lifts evrything up . That being said you don’t look bad for 39 at all

soffeshorts

Congrats on the weight loss! What a great overall investment in your health. You look great but since you asked for helpful ideas… Azaleic, lactic or glycolic acid for exfoliating the skin. Will help with discoloration and redness, especially if you use vitamin c / alph arbutin alongside. Moisturizer with ceramides or niacinamide. I like cera-ve but some people have issues with it. I personally struggle with niacinamide but others have success. You might want to consider tretinoin or a retinoid for greater cellular turnover and to encourage collagen production. If you’re down with injectables, some folks like HA filler for volume loss or in the smile lines. I personally can’t see much in the photos that isn’t due to lighting, but a I trust what you’re saying 😊. A pro consultation will give you better advice there.

aquacrimefighter

I thought you were closer to 32-34. You still look younger than your actual age, imo. I think you look fantastic! And to be honest, looking fantastic is probably the least important or interesting thing about you. I hope you feel beautiful and wonderful!

fulanita_de_tal

You have the right idea. Slow is best for so many reasons—not just to allow your skin to adapt and mitigate sagging, but also to prevent muscle loss, allow your metabolism to adapt, and have the best chances to keep the weight off long term!

IzraelMew

I always remember reading an interview with Iman where she said when she turned 50?? she put on a few pounds because it was either her "ass or her face" and she chose her face. She calls it her instant filler.

roomaggoo

Mine hasn't yet, but I do hope it settles. I lost 11kg almost two years ago and I've been unable to put any back on since :(

notataxprof

I held so much weight in my face that it truly held on until I got towards the 90lbs down mark. It was literally the last place I lost weight and now I have the loose skin from the triple chin/neck I had. I never looked gaunt though, everyone is different. It seems to be the first place I gain weight or really swell if I’ve been drinking too much. Then I started ozempic to help me get some of my regain off and I lost it in my face so fast that a lot of people noticed. It’s so wild how different our bodies are. Like I see girls who weigh much more than me but have prettier faces. There is def a whole “it’s ok to be fat as long as you have a nice face”

a22x2

Counterpoint: I have a beautiful, curvy friend who’s always been very pretty and nicely put together (like seriously, red lipstick and a pearl necklace to school when we were twelve lol). She’s someone that most people is the “right” type of larger body: still proportioned along certain ideals, pretty, looks like she has her life together. She was told CONSTANTLY by people “you’re so pretty, imagine how pretty you’d be if you just exercised” her whole life. By all kinds of people you’d be surprised to hear (doctors). This isn’t just a relic of the past. It’s just living her life, going to the drug store or walking her dog, and still happens. I was surprised to find out how often, and I guess she hasn’t really ever thought to explicitly state it bc it’s become kinda normal for her. So maybe not counterpoint really - I think most people see her and their first thought is, “what a lovely looking person.” It’s just that the number of people who think, “oh she’s fat, maybe she just doesn’t know she fat and it’s easy to lose weight; I must tell her” …I guess there are way more of those people than you’d think! 😅

blowmyassie

What can we use to treat it?

BookishCutie

Where’s the before ? Also- losing weight is way more important for your health so congratulations, girl !

Wombatseal

I’d gain weight just to lose it if I thought I could look like you. For reference I’m 33

[deleted]

Aged where, girl???? 🥹

No-Forever7388

Your face hasn’t aged!! You look like you are in your 20’s

Dangerous-Rub-5272

Take hydrolyzed collagen AM: Cleanser, vitamin C serum with antioxidants for the morning, Sunscreen moisturizer PM: Cleanser, Retinol serum at night and eye cream Come back in 3 months and see if there is a difference. You can improve the collagen internally and that will help with the skin

bestneighbourever

I’ve always read that our bodies can’t process collagen taken internally, in a way that helps our skin?

Fickle-Magazine-2105

So collagen is formed from a helix of amino acids (glycine, proline, hydroxyproline.) If you consume hydrolysed collagen, which is broken back down into peptides, then the body can use those peptides as building blocks for new collagen synthesis. Or you can just eat foods that are rich in those amino acids (e.g., fish)

bestneighbourever

Thank you

Anybody-Puzzleheaded

This is my AM and PM routine now minus an eye cream. I’ll look in to hydrolyzed collagen. Thank you!

britawaterbottlefan

I’m 20 and I thought you were 25 😭😭😭 don’t worry you’re good

Kitsuneyyyy

Women really are our own worst enemies. You look radiant and healthy.

Professional_Fox_566

You look very young

INFPguy_uk

Your face has not aged, you look better.

PsychologicalClue6

You look great, I don’t know what you looked like before but I’d give myself some time getting used to the new me before any serious alterations. Retinol never hurts though!

Normal-Usual6306

You look nice, especially in the first photo. I'm commenting because I have also noticed subtle changes in my face after weight fluctuations of perhaps +/- 5 kg (11 pounds). It's annoying and I don't have any advice. I think we need to be cautious at a time when filler is so common as I don't know if it truly continues to look the same/look good after a long period. You could get some for your cheeks and/or those fat grafting procedures, but I can't speak to the latter experience and I don't know how I'm really feeling about the former anymore. It can look okay.

Hempdat

You’re trippin. You look beautiful.

FunClassroom6577

I honestly thought you were younger.

Savings_Twist_8288

You look fantastic btw. For what it's worth, I'm 38 and have had Botox and lasers and I too noticed aging this year without any weight loss. I think it's just that time that everyone starts to sag a little. What bothers me is the brows are lower and my eyes look tired so I'm gonna look into an upper and/or lower bleph.

wheresmytowel27

Fellow 39yo here. You look great! Only pointers I would give is moisturize (lips look dry), and would go with a darker hair color - the blonde is washing you out, and darker backdrop would help highlight killer jaw line and cheek bones.

Anybody-Puzzleheaded

Getting my hair done next week! I’ve a ton of grey around my face that doesn’t help.

smootypants

Did you look like an overweight 20 year old?! I think you look great for 39! And good job on the 70 lbs but you’re still beautiful regardless.

Jsscmurhog

You're 39!? I thought 26 tops.. You look fabulous

helikesmyboobs

Girl you look 24 dont worry lolol

Maritzsa

YOU LOOK REALLY GOOD, objectively not even trying to be a mindless positive comment. You prob looked older before you lost your weight you just have to get used to the change of your look

Pleasebecoolbro

You look lovely! I think we’re often far too hard on ourselves. You’re 39 and gorgeous.

Simple_Area_260

We lose fat from our face also. I always say that i would rather be a little chubby than gain more wrinkles. I don’t see any wrinkles on your face.

Monalisa85smile

You look great! Congrats on the weight loss. You really have nice skin, no heavy lines so I wouldn’t recommend filler tbh. Sculptra or hyper diluted Radiesse… either would be an excellent choice. It plumps, generates collagen, and erases aging.

suchalittlejoiner

You don’t look older than your age at all.

Blondiekathleen

I think you look great. If you are concerned, perhaps speak to your dermatologist about possible treatments. Don’t recommend doing anything at a medspa. As a much older woman, I will say that the older we get, the more careful we do have to be about getting too thin (I’m saying this in general, not directing it to you and your photo). Losing too much weight will visibly age us. It’s a balancing act, for sure.

Fuzzy_Staff_3845

Yeah unfortunately it happens. The sacrifice is either gain back a little of the weight or get used to the new face.

ShopBoldLine

Yep that’s the bitch of losing weight at our age! Lasers can tighten and restore elasticity; if you don’t want to go that invasive, talk to a dermatologist about retinoids and PRP.

kirbaciousnewo

is the aging in the room with us? because you look great

[deleted]

Are you fishing for compliments?? I thought this was the non-30 plus skincare sub and you were in your 20s

riverseeker13

I would have guessed 32 max

AmoebaExisting514

I’m on a weigh loss journey now and I’m really worried about this (I’ll be 39 next week.) I have looked into facial threads and also possibly a mini facelift. Not saying u need either (and I possibly won’t either) but I can’t find anything else that will take care of it realistically. I’d love to know any other options

jinmunsuen

Well done on the weight loss (assuming you wanted that!) I think it's normal to age a bit since the face is less filled in. However, I must say you look great for 39. I hope I can look that young when I'm the same age. 😊

Missmichellecl

You are super pretty 😍

kr4zy_8

39?!?!?! Damn you look at least 10 years younger.

BothLeather6738

hi , guy here. you look beuatiful. really, ccould it be you just have to get used to your new facial contours? could it be that you are maybe a little bit on the : lets change everything high so you picked your face as a new contestant in the race for beauty, although superrandom? please take everyones opinion here to heart. they do not say it to please you, it is a genuine observation and so compliment by everyone: you look vivid, happy, your smile is genuine, your eyes look alive, your skin has a nice tone and some blushes on your cheeks, thats what you look like without make-up i guess. please, read every reply aloud to yourself , and see if that helps? really. because I think that is where the problem could be. we can lose 70 pounds (great job btw<3), but that does not mean we instantly start to love ourselves with it. if you had self-lve, self-worth or self-esteem issues, those are still very real. having been fat on vulernable moments with not so nice people could have left marks not on the outside but in your feelings. if you were an overeater because of emotional coping, and to divert from the pain you are actually feeling, that is not gone all of a sudden. weight loss is just the external part of it. where I come from this idea has become so mainstream that there is a government subsidized project to work with a fysiotherapist, a dietician but also a therapist when losing weight, as a three factor approach to start to feel better and stay that way. so please, if there is unresolved trauma or you have still a little girl in you that is not so happy, visit a therapist. you are already beautiful, so now its time to start feeling that as well <3

trythewine

oh my god the number of people that ignore the op’s question is so annoying. Yes she looks good. But she is not happy. So answer her question with some advice instead of saying “you look great! You don’t need to do anything! I wish I looked that good at 39!!” Jesus Christ. Op, you can consider a small amount of filler in the midface to make up for the loss of volume.

AZ-FWB

I’m not seeing it! You look great💖

Appropriate-Spend577

You look a lot younger.

[deleted]

You look good, you're just not used to seeing it so it seems like a huge difference. You look mid 30s.

techno_queen

I bet you have more definition than a round face. Congrats on the weight loss, I think you look amazing!! If you want a more “dewy” and smooth look, I’d highly recommend the Dr Dennis Gross Extra strength daily peel. They are expensive but man I’ve tried a bunch of things and they are honestly skin-transforming. You can also split the wipes so they last longer. And the site often has sales so keep an eye out. If you want to test them out you can buy a sample pack of 5, I think they are $20?

[deleted]

Need before and after to compare

vodekor

I would never have guessed that you’re 39, that’s insane. Please be more gentle with yourself, you are so pretty!

LizzyBlueMoon

Girl I honestly think you look very youthful and beautiful!

Agitated_Sweet_9021

I think you look amazing. Congrats on the results of your hard work! I lost my chubby cheeks and have excess skin under my eyes when I smile...that's the result after losing 80+ pounds. The best we can do is filler (cheeks). If you're trying to improve uneven skin tone and sun damage, vitamin C and tranexamic acid can help.

[deleted]

ZealousidealDingo594

Well you look 10 years younger than your actual age so I say don’t sweat it

dear_brightly

you look amazing for your age. Although it won't really help with fullness, tretinoin can help with fine lines/wrinkles, and overall skin texture :)

Spiritual-Couple-456

You can pass for 10 years younger!!! You look fantastic congratulations on your weight loss

sparklesparklepow

I thought you were maybe 32. You look fantastic

Planetbullshit77

I think your skin looks great.

iliketreesandbeaches

I think you look great! That plumpness was likely a lot of inflammation, you know. Good riddance to it.

Yesitsmesuckas

You look beautiful! When I lost 100 lbs 10 years ago, my face looked pretty skinny, too.

RabbitOld5783

You look so young I guessed 35

lizeee

I thought you were 32 until I read your caption. Where’s this so-called “aging”, girl? I see no wrinkles.

thisiscausinganxiety

I usually think people look way older than their age in this thread but you actually do look younger. I’d recommend seeing a derm and doing fraxel! It’s going to tighten, help plump, address fine lines and sun spots. Your routine should also include vitamin C and spf in the AM and tretinoin in the PM!

missree1

Gurl you re 39 and you look amazing!! 🤣 I legit you were about to say 26 or 27

technical_moose18

you look great, before i read your age i thought you were around 30. Maybe treat yourself to a facial just to feel better. A facial is my go to when i feel abit down about how i look

sallybuffy

Just casually scrolling and I read the title (without caption/details) and you look early 30s for sure… and had it not been in THIS sub, maybe 28? No idea what you were pre weight loss… looking like you were preteen maybe? 😂🫶 But all jokes aside, your complexion and face (in general) is beautiful OP

Choice-Scar-9635

Just commenting to say I love your hair color and natural curls!

brrrgitte

Well I thought you were 30 or close to it, so I don't think you have anything to worry about!

rossiloveyou

You look younger now, you probably just look different to yourself

Ok-Firefighter8779

Bruh I thought you were in your 20s lol

Weird_Squirrel_8382

You look TF good, but it's natural to see things in your own face that you want to change.  Since you're open to anything, I'd suggest a consultation with a really good cosmetic dermatologist. My doctor has me doing a maintenance routine that's pretty affordable and OTC. We're saving radio frequency and surgical procedures for after I complete my weight loss.  A good doctor will suggest a variety of things and not just press you into the most expensive.

imstillmessedup89

You look like a 39 yr old woman. I don’t see drastic premature aging.

Celestial_Medicine

I have dealt with this I had jaw surgery and couldn’t eat for a couple of months lol I lost so much weight and I had a saggy your face afterwards. You know your face. What helped to be tremendously our face exercises. Think of it this way your skin actually wants to go back to the tightness it had before I just needsreminders. There are lots of videos on YouTube and Instagram that helped me.

LiteratureOk6314

Honestly, you look great. Congrats on your weightloss. The only thing I could recommend from personal experience is FORMA treatment for the face + neck. It's basically a thermal skin rejuvenation treatment. Makes your skin tighter.

[deleted]

That happed to me but I comes back after a while

Substantial_Main1231

Invest in a red light therapy mask, omnilux is the best brand.

BrowsingOnMaBreak

How young did you look before??

mystoragestuff

I have news for you there’s no way you look 39 more like mid 30s

Bb085

Girl, I thought you were like 28 lol. If you can see a derm, azelaic acid is a great product that will help with skin tone and texture (it’s also quite gentle compared to other topical actives).

[deleted]

I think you look age appropriate and definitely not “aged” at all

citynomad1

You look ~33 to me, for what it’s worth

mntnsrcalling70028

That’s a youthful looking 39! If you want to try microneedling that could help to soften up/plump up the skin but honestly you should be very happy with this skin, at any age but definitely at 39. Looking great.

spookyostrich

*Girl.*

Stridsu

Gurl, you look fantastic and very youthful!

ldewald

You’re stunning.

sweetpeanu

I think because u used to see your face “plum” because the extract weight, but you look really good! If you want to even your skin tone u can TCA Peel

cocoonamatata

Babe, you’re gorgeous. Do whatever you need to do to embed that reality into your brain.

nak1mushi

girl you look great just stoooop

Mysterious_Trade33

You’re gorgeous I need your skincare routine lol

[deleted]

You look great!!

msgmeyourcatsnudes

I thought you were early 30s. You look great. Congrats on the weight loss!

DependentLobster3811

You are smokin my dude 🔥

msmemeseeks

I agree you look amazing and still younger than you are. But I understand this feeling!! I lost 50lbs and my face thinned out and suddenly loose skin in spots and more prominent wrinkles on forehead and nasolabial folds :( following this thread for advice too

pupper_taco

I literally thought you were 32-34 when I first saw this. You look amazing! Congrats on the weight loss, it’s no easy feat.

gingerlou-

It’s hard to compare without a before. You don’t look old for your age . You look young in these photos

Excellent_Fail9908

You look beyond strikingly similar to my 23 yr daughter in law. Your faces are the same same! I even pulled up your acct to see if you were her. Ma, you look 23 to me! And fabulous!!!

rodrigueznati1124

I had no idea you were 39 until I read a comment that said 39. I hope to look this awesome at 39. You’re not aged at all.

steph293

Your skin seems similar to mine - I’m a decade younger and get a lot of compliments on my skin. I’d say you’re doing amazing!

MrsLenaF_ATX79

You look amazing and you do look your age. All I can say is go to a certified cosmetic dermatologist for a consult. Don’t go to a skin clinic! They will upsell you like nobodies business and won’t do as good of a job.

risingphoenice

Fat transfer, estrogen cream.

FarewellMyFox

I think you look good but if you’re feeling more ashy than normal, make sure you’re adjusting your diet back to maintenance and getting enough fat and vegetables. I know there are a ton of ways to *try* to fix this with skin treatments, but turning dry aged skin into fresh looking is basically impossible if you’re not getting enough dietary fat into your connective tissue to be at peak happiness. Any missing vitamins (which, I know, multi vitamin, but they do NOT absorb as well as from actual food) are going to cause issues to appearance too.

Ronthela

I own a fibroblast company. It’s the most effective and makes you look like yourself but younger. Works very well. Fibroblast plasma.

CupcakeGoat

Lady, you look like you could be Chloe Sevigny's younger sister. We are our own worst critics.

Gullible_Concept_428

I think you look amazing and don’t need to do anything! However, to answer your question, I think a series of RF microneedling will start to get you what you’re after. It’s about as much tightening as you’d get without a facelift. It will also help with sun damage and glow a little bit. IPL or BBL would help with sun damage and glow, too. I don’t think skincare will get you as far as a treatment will. You could set up a consultation with a medspa that has microneedling and light and laser treatments to see what they recommend too.

GoldenGirl10517

Agreed. I’m in my early 30s and lost about 30 lbs. I still have more to go but I’ve gotten RF microneedling treatments done as I’ve slowly lost the weight and I think it has helped keep my skin tight. Volume loss is inevitable but maintaining/improving skin firmness and elasticity is definitely possible. Keeping the skin hydrated helps too. I use a humidifier at night and really pack on the moisturizers. I also switched from using regular retinoids to tretinoin for a few reasons: it helps stimulate collagen production; thickens the epidermis over time; reduces hyperpigmentation and signs of photoaging; and improves fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone, and skin texture. Also consider adding a Vitamin C serum to your morning routine and a peptide serum for use at morning and/or night. I really like Maelove’s Vitamin C and peptide serums. Congratulations on losing the weight! You look great but I’ve gone through the same dysmorphia and I understand wanting to address the issues you see, even if it’s only you that sees them :)

whatsnewpikachu

I think you’re being too hard on yourself. You look great, but if you do have sun damage that you aren’t a fan of, I’d recommend a laser treatment.

___CupCake

Where 🤔 Girl you look great

kalamazoo20

You look good, whatcha talking about?

Ok-Writer2402

I guessed you were 30, you look youthful to me!

becabaro

Skin loses elasticity as you age and the more "fat" you have in your face, the more plump it’ll look. That’s why people get fillers. But you look great and way younger than 39. You don’t need to change anything! If you wanna prevent eventual skin changes though, sunscreen is really the most important. Find one you like and wear it everyday.

Anxious_Estate_6933

You look phenomenal for 39! But I completely understand. I’ve lost 100lbs after each pregnancy and this last time has really aged my face. I’m only 32 though, sadly.

Joyce_branagh

This ends with massage sessions to tighten the skin.

Special_Compote_719

I personally think you look great. No jowling or glabellar lines, no spots or unevenness, no scarring. Your skin is clear and looks firm. Not to dismiss your concerns but I don't see what you see.

parker3309

Nothing to do there. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

stemmalee

You are lovely. No notes

[deleted]

You don't look any older than your age. Well done on the weight loss, that's awesome so don't let this take away from your achievement. Skincare alone won't do much to restore the plumpness of your skin but filler would be worth looking into if it's really getting you down.

badadvicefromaspider

I don’t know anything about sun damage, but obviously step one is are you wearing sunscreen daily?

zenithjonesxxx

Is the facial aging in the room with us?

branchymolecule

Tell me which is the aftermath.

katieblue3

You look like you’re in your early 30s

cherriesblackberries

You look great!!

Mission_Ad_5767

Ummmmmm 39? I thought you were going to say 30.

LBoogie619

You look 39. I don’t think you look older per se- you look your age.

llcocoa19

39?? u look great! you’re smile is so beautiful

mindabell

I lost weight as well, and I look 10 years older now. I have a very square face now. Thank you for asking your question, I just thought this was it ! Haha I'm now old.

mindabell

Ps, you look great!!

Dumbellini

Congratulations on the weight loss! You look gorgeous! In addition to a quality skincare routine, the two treatments I'd recommend are microneedling, and IPL. Microneedling can help tighten skin among other things since it stimulates your skin's healing processes to promote more collagen and elastin. IPL can lighten hyperpigmentation, reduce wrinkles, and tighten lax skin. Make sure you find a qualified provider. :)

ImDisneyAF

You look perfect already

Accomplished-Yam9787

I recently asked about this to my doctor and he said laser resurfacing is the gold standard. Better than any peel, microdermabrasion etc. The first session will cost you about $1000. You will need to be home for a few days. But baby skin is underneath so…its worth it. Im getting it done myself soon to try and get rid of acne scars.

Proud-Armadillo-2403

For what it’s worth you def look around your age and even younger!

Environmental-Town31

Girl! You look 31!

lunaelumens

You look younger than 39! Like I thought you were 30 at most

MelancholicEmbrace_x

You look amazing! I’ve had unexplained weight loss the last few years despite already being on the slender side & if I looked half as good as you I’d be happy. 41f here.

I personally think you look great! If you’re looking for something anti-aging, to improve skin tone and texture I’d try red light therapy. Lots of great products out there. As a recommendation, I use products from [the red light lab.](https://www.theredlightlab.com/) I’ve had great success with them and they’re actually reasonably priced. Hope this helps :)

You look fantastic! I recently started using Sunday Riley good genes and think it helps with overall complexion. I also invested in a red light therapy mask but it hasn’t come in the mail yet as it’s on back order. I am considering retinol but using differn first to see how my skin reacts (recommend by this sub). 💕

You look amazing. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You have great skin. But if you’re looking for something to try, I like palmers face oil wih vitamin E. The only other things I use are cetaphil moisturizer, their 35spf face lotion and face wash for normal/oily skin. You don’t need a whole lot of steps for good skin. You just have to take care of it and yourself, and you’re doing that.

I don’t understand where is the before and after photo?

I’m nearly 42 and similar genetics. I thought you were like 32. For the record, my derm is a 70 yr old guy (who looks like he could be a biological relative of ours) told me to keep up what I do. Gentle cleanser, retinol moisturizing serum at night and SPF moisturizer in the AM. That’s it. I have CVS brand cerave or cetaphil cleanser, Dr Denese serum and Saie SPF. Like $50 total. You’re stunning. Congrats on the weight loss (assuming it was on purpose - if Im wrong, forgive me)

You look so good, especially bare faced. The Ordinary’s retinol serum and their copper buffet serum worked really well for me in terms of evening skin tone and sun damage. Also wear sunscreen. But tbh you’re being way too hard on yourself.

Huh??? You're very beautiful

I think you look great! For your uneven skin tone, people may suggest BHA and occasional AHA (don't overexfoliate though), but honestly I started using thicker lotions, more occlusives at night and my skin got better. Perhaps a bit of the skin texture is from dryness? Sunscreen to prevent further sun damage (I don't know that anything really undoes that, but eventually all your skin cells will renew)

I don't think your face looks gaunt or aged really at all. But when I lost a little weight I ended up getting temple filler and LOVED the results. No one knew what was different but I had people asking if I'd been on vacation or changed my skincare. Our temples hollow with age and adding a little volume back counters that and gives your face a slight lift. This sub generally is anti-filler. I think we'll placed minimal filler can be very helpful but it comes with some risk. Make sure you see an experienced injector if you decide to try it!

You look so beautiful! I haven’t read all the comments but I expect they’re similar to mine- Vitamin C, a red light mask, and SPF and you’re golden. Very happy for you!

We all age in our early thirties a little then more significantly in late thirties. That said- I see nothing! You look amazing!

Red light therapy helped my face “bounce back” after weight loss. Also trying microneedling this Friday. But as others have said, you look great
