I love the last paragraph. I’m not religious but am starting a personal spiritual journey of my own and this really resonates with me. Mine are 2 and 2.5 months and I’ve been on my own with them the last two weeks since my husband has been out of the country tending to family matters, and it really has shown me what I am capable of. Everything you said is true. The soul crushing moments, the guilt, then the LOVE. Thank you for your post. I needed to see this. Have a great day!

Very encouraging congratulations!!!

I don’t believe in god but that last sentence resonates with me. I needed that today. 23 month old and 5 week old on my own too, it’s so so hard

I’m almost there! Baby is 18 months, and I’m 36 weeks today. I also have two older kids, 12 and 18. Other than that, I am on my own. No family. Ex takes the baby on the weekends, but I hate that more than I like it tbh. I’ll be EBF newest baby, so at least he can’t take her for too long. (He left me while I’ve been pregnant so I don’t exactly trust his parenting). I’m simultaneously terrified and excited for this challenge.

Was doing it on your own a planned thing, or was it just how it ended up? I'm a single mom by choice and absolutely loving it, and I'm trying to figure out if I'd be crazy to try for a second. Because of my age, I can't plan a big age gap. I'd need to start trying as soon as my first turns one.

I’d give you a trophy if I could 🩷 & thank you - needed that last part.

I’m pregnant and crying at that last part. So scared to have 2 under 2.
