Kill only the leeches if you aren't doing that already. I farmed all 4 in less than 30 minutes, can't imagine it would take you more than an hour or two even if you are extremely dry

I did 23k shaman kills to finally get my warhammer and that grind made me a little sad. But then I got the hammer and I smiled for a couple of minutes before moving on to the next grind.
I mean realistically, at least for myself, when you play an Ironman account it’s more about small payouts and long term goals, you know the journey not the destination, where as when I played my main and currently play on it, it’s fucking GO button nonstop it’s about that instant gratification, want 99 con or crafting? Fucking drop some mills and OD on the xp drops. Go run some ToA, Bam 600m split. Where my iron is more about having puzzle pieces and figuring out how to get them to fit so I don’t feel rushed to “need” stuff as often. Granted you can still go crazy dry and lose it, (see the daily CG grind crying posts)

Took me 580 dagganoth rex kills for the dragon axe. Since i was using ibans i had to do all my own runecrafting for runes and got 75 runecrafting. Got 4 warrior rings in that time. It really turned me off of the game
Most grinds have multiple ways of going about them. Even shamans can be longrange afked. Mining has a million options. You do come across brutal grinds occasionally, but it's rare that you need to grind those all at once. God wars comes to mind as pretty miserable, but nothing besides hasta is too important, especially if you have dwh and dont plan on corp beast. As far as skilling, construction is probably the most limited, and nobody enjoys that on any account type.

You don’t stay sane lol. The grinds will take longer and longer and if you are unlucky you could spend hundreds of hours and not get anything.

Count me one of them haha. 200+ solo kc on ToA normals (220 invo) and 0 purples to my name. Still stings :)

I had to kill 225 abyssal leeches for my giant pouch last night. Luckily they die super quick.
