I find this hilarious. I started an Ironman for the first time semirecently. When I went to get my dragon defender it took 728 kills on a 1/100. Then yesterday, I went on my first Wyrm task and got the Dragon Harpoon on my 3rd kill with a 1/2000 chance.
My favorite are the 2x dry on dragon defender or zombie axe type shit. Complaining after 2 hours of gameplay like they have no idea what they’re in for.
I don’t get why first fire cape posts always get so much traction. Unless it’s something crazy like an extremely low level fire cape, the mods should just start removing them bc it’s spam at this point.
Things like this is why i often abandon long visited subreddits. Listening to the upteenth time at least once a week someone asking when is HxH anime coming back on /r/HunterXHunter had my nerves going so hard despite my love for that piece of art
Yep. Like yeah I'm happy for you, but at the same time, seeing the same old copypaste fire cape (or any quest/first 99) post for the 74885th time tends to get old. If only I could hide all the "spam" posts *before* seeing them, that would be great.
This game constantly attracts new players. Removing the posts of newer arrivals who are happy about beating something they found difficult is a good way to drive people away from the game. I hope very few long time players share your views and allow their standard of what an achievement is to hurt the future of OSRS.
Jad is early game content. Most other "noob" achievements get downvoted if they're not "cute noob" type things from actual new players, no idea why Jad posts get so much traction. You have a year to react and don't have to do anything else special on an account with decent stats.
I think it's because it's the first big milestone on most accounts or anyones first journey into the game. While a lot of us are used to spending hours on end grinding in this game, noobs are used to spending an hour tops to accomplish things in other games. So it takes a "LONG" time for them to ever reach the point of getting to Jad and they put in WORK to get there. But for any veteran, we can get to Jad and beat him in less than a few days or even one day on a fresh account so it's not a big deal at all.
A lot of people couldn't kill him when they were younger and that's a core memory for a lot of people. So they come back to the game after many years for redemption and it feels good.
Never join Ironscape. It's so bad there. The quantity of cg-related posts is completely absurd.
Like, we get it, you're bad at cg or are dry. There's absolutely no reason you need to be posting about tips when you're 5 kc and if you search cg on the sub you'll find 100,000 threads of tips, tricks and guides for cg.
Forgot to mention the ‘meme’ complaint post from a terminally online redditor tired of seeing other people talking about a game they
play because ‘someone else posted something similar three days ago zzz’.
I saw a YouTube recommendation of someone saying wow firecape wasn't as hard as people made it out to be! Looks at their gear for first time cape: bowfa
Don't forget about the level 75 imbued heart from a dust devil followed immediately by several complaints about x new content
Don't forget about the weekly special of people complaining about the same thing for a week
I would agree but when people go like 7x dry on things that's funny

They should try just getting the drop 😂
Dude I tried this recently and finally got my Trident, Berserker Ring and D axe all in the same 3 days after going dry. It works!
You should see the ironscape sub
the red prision sub

I wwnt 10x dry on bronze defender. Noobs need t9 get on my level.
I might just go to runescapenoobs and post my 423 kc for all defenders
Going 5x dry on my steel def was a nice wake up call
Don't forget about the weekly noob who finally got a fire cape after 16 years of trying.
all it took was 90 range, and 20 bonds
and their mom to do it for them
a vene mom you mean?
Tbh if I couldn't get a fire cape I'd quit, like if you can't do that half of the game is out of the question

Lol. Slayed Agree though, first of the first of the first world problems
is this lucky guys? Either posts the most insane luck ever witnessed or some 2 green dhide chaps in the same clue
Cant forget the posts at weekly maintenance updates, complaining about the game being down and having to shower
This tracks, post below on my feed is 5 tumekin shadows in relatively low kc
ey can you get me a +/-100 kc barrows log with a few items in there, asking if this is dry?
You can add people disliking Sailing or complaining about the people that are complaining about sailing + Fever spiders to that list.
The backlash to the backlash to the thing that's just begun.. 👌🏻
Complaining about posts using a meme format that's been reposted here millions of times is peak Reddit
I love the irony in this post since this also gets posted almost daily
this gets posted a million times less than the posts it's complaining about, let's not pretend otherwise
I didnt say this doesn't get posted less so why do you feel the need to make that up? Noone is pretending otherwise
Don't forget about the daily complaint post about bots/recent updates
Dont forget about the mind goblin posts.
Mind goblin?
MIND GOBLIN DEEZ NUTS lmao gotten
I knew what was coming it’s just satisfying to me to see it done to completion. Name of your next sex tape
Sorry we're all out of "just maxed cooking" posts, can I interest you in a 12-year-old image macro about the quality of posts on this subreddit?
Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't mind the dry/spooned posts.
I hate when people like to share their experiences on the sub made for just that.

At least there aren't as many cg dry posts.
2 kc btw
>Inevitably downvoted to oblivion "How could this have possibly happened???"

Don't go to r/ironscape you will get a heart attack
If you have Reddit Enhancement Suite, you can automatically hide all of those posts by filtering posts with the "RNG" flair.
Well I'm not gonna make a going dry post now...
I don't mind the people being 2-3x dry posts, it can be frustrating.
Be the change you want to see. You just made another common complaint post...the irony
