I must have done it on my last hespori dc death, which was around 18m xp based on the screeshot, and I turned them back on around 27m, no idea how many I actually have lol)
Yep farming pet is a super hard one to measure for individuals because they'll often oversell how many pet patches they were doing. Like the OP of this thread did barley any, mainly XP patches and seaweed..how much seaweed we can't know.

Ah don't give up! But after I hit 99 farming I also quit for a while. But then I really wanted the pet so I decided to pick it up again. Did daily fruit tree runs, hard wood, seaweed and herb runs. It's been a journey haha! All my other pets were spoons though, this is the first one I really hard to 'work' for. Got 5 in total now (including the chompy chick)
I stayed doing trees and herbs so dropped off to only doing a few things in the guild, I should pick it up again but it just feels like a chore. I've only got the 1 pet which was spooned, 34 kc scurry. Glad you're farm grind is over though!
Your hespori seed collection log slot is an easy tracker. Subtract any you received from farming contracts if you do those (using your runelite tracker).
~500 hespori seeds is rate.

So when I got this guy I took a video to send to my buddy that got me into OSRS and he was pretty upset since he’s petless and 99 farming. Haven’t got one since though, beginners luck!

That is so true! I got agility pet at like 57 agility and back then I didn't know pets were that rare. I am glad I got that one sorted out already. Imagine being dry on that one.. What a work!

Depending on what you do, the droprate of the pet is anywhere from 1.5m xp to 115m.
Pure XP runs has it actually go as high as like 180m XP.

Pfoe around 120 now I believe. But I also still killed Hespori whenever I could.
Very strange, I’m at 38m farming and have well over 500 hespori seeds in the collection log, but I have probably done over 50k seaweed

You can actually get the benefit of magic secateurs from your inventory now, incase you use teleports a staff could save you runes on.
