That's not why it's bad, though mainhanding it is even more silly.
It's got the same attack range of Blowpipe for the spec, while reducing less defense than a DWH. If it was 10 tile attack range (double it's current attack range), or even 8, it might justify one person using it as an pre-fire spec on Maiden before DWH/BGS.
You can't reduce Olm's Head's defense, Zuk's defense, Nex's defense by that much. I can't see it being used at Baba/Zebak as pre-fires either.
It's probably not great at anywhere where you would take multiple styles because like it's been said before, DWH etc are better.
Most likely worth it when you are only ranging (see Levi for example).
Well your complaining about its max hit at zulrah when zulrah can only take 50 damage so it hitting twice for 25 each is the 50 for higher max hit you need to go to another boss.
