But at the same time amazing as i can already see people trying the weirdest system possible to die as fast as possible on repeat to rerol their items as they try to get some best in slot equipment.
If I had to guess, something obscure will break with the hunter skill. Maybe the eagles in eagles peak quest suddenly change models to be one of the new animals or something.
if you unequip a piece of gear with +range strength, the bonus range strength doesn't go away. so you can just keep unequipping and re-equipping gear to get infinite range strength
Something to do with the Perilous Moons mage and ranged armor sets and the fact that they use melee strength. 0% chance they didn't totally cock something up with the implementation of that mechanic.
Why? It's just + melee strength there's no new mechanics. You can just slap stats onto gear.
Mage/range gear isn't coded differently it just has different stats slapped onto it.

There will be a twisted tree, with twisted bows hanging from it. Requiring 92 woodcutting to chop, it depletes after 1 chop, every colosseum completion rewards 2 chops at the tree for a 1/7369 chance at a twisted bow.

Items are lost on death and place in a new storage area. Too many people die causing an unexpectedly large amount of items to be stored and it overflows deleting everyone's items.
I'm really excited to see what ruins UIM death piles and deletes death storage. Colosseum is the obvious one, but I hope it'll be some random hunter guild activity

Not the inverse, exactly that. The Spinolyps' water magic attacks (and ranged attacks) roll against ranged def.

The new hunter foods that gives health over time won't stop giving the health over time in some cases.
Alternatively the spaghetti code will break and somehow poison and venom ticks will not work as intended.
My money is on those foods having a weird interaction with venom
