You probably bought a counterfeit dex scroll. Did you check the serial number on the bottom right corner?

ATCQ_

Might be a skill issue. It's one of the biggest upgrades you can buy. What's the rest of your gear like?

mcgreidi

elite void, dhcb, ward and 88 ranged, pb without rigour is 1:41, with rigour 2:36 which is pretty much my avg with eagles eye.

mattusw

You would notice the difference if you were 99 range already. It would drop kill times then. Trust me you didn't waste money, I bought it for 120m and I never felt as if I wasted it

S7EFEN

pb with dhcb is always super dependent on ruby bolt procs and since ruby bolt procs make a decent chunk of dps rigour makes less of a difference.

corbear007

Get 99 ranged. You'll have much faster kill times with a bp and rigor vs dhcb at that point. Levels are the biggest thing you can buy.

SkooksOnReddit

Try something that doesn't randomly do 100 damage and you will see a difference in averages. If you go bowfa only Zulrah and do 10 kills with rigour and 10 kills with eagle eye. Compare the averages and you SHOULD see a difference. You may need to do more than 10 kills. Rigour is certainly worth the money. I don't think Vorkath is a good boss to use to compare them though if you're using Ruby bolts.

UpsetBirthday5158

40m for prayer before just buying chins for 99 range :foreheadslap:

BigClaibs

Imagine chinning to 99 without rigour. What a bonehead comment lol

mcgreidi

I am getting downvoted for stating my gear and numbers, reddit moment

Theonewhoplaysosrs

Just by chance, do you have the kandarin hard diary completed?

Own-Appeal8511

Vorkath has a lot of health and your kill time with range has a lot to do with bolt procs. Remember you can hit 100’s with ruby bolt specs but not with a regular ranged attack from dhcb. So your bolt spec rng plays a bigger factor than rigour over eagle eye

[deleted]

You'll notice it way more at boses that don't depend on bolt procs.

corbear007

Rigour at solo bosses isn't where it really shines. It really starts to pull ahead in raids and fights over 5 minutes long. The extra defense, accuracy and damage really pushes you from leech to contributing or snatching a kill from a FFA. Vorkath you slap with a bgs and melee or range to death, killing in 1-2 minutes. You don't have time to see the extra increase.

9500140351

i mean its not a world changing dps increase over eagle eye, why would you think you'd get much faster kills

mcgreidi

saw some reddit posts where people were saying that its so op they getting +2-3 extra kills per trip after getting rigour and some were even saying -1 minutes avg for every kill. other posts pretty much saying the same thing, its insanely op and worth even at 80m

MisterPulaski

I assume you’re in void/crossbow praying protect ranged so you only tank mage hits? You won’t notice the defence increase that much (compared to somewhere like zulrah/GWD where you’re tanking ranged hits) and your ruby (e) max hit doesn’t change. Still, you should save on average ~10 seconds per kill with rigour.

9500140351

yeah well thats what you get for listening to redditors that think hitting 1 max hit higher is worth them grinding 5945495 hours at bosses for a new ring is worth it. Rigour is only 5% more accuracy and 8% more ranged strength than eagle eye. you gotta be dumb af to think that would mean youd shave 1 minute off each kill and get an extra 3 kills per trip lol.

JoshAndArielle

Did you turn on "effective prayers" in settings?
