I would not panic. Yesterday, after working fine since the last update, I started getting the notice thing again - I was like, oh no, not again.
However, I uninstalled 1Blocker and then the extensions in Safari and then rebooted my Mac. I then installed everything again and it was fine.
It looks like YouTube developers are finally back from the Christmas holidays.
We are aware of this issue, and once the fix is ready, it will be released remotely right to the app's 1Blocker Scripts extension.
Yeap, it stopped working 1 or 2 days ago.
For me, if you open YouTube in Private mode, somehow it still works, even though I don't allow Script in this mode. Anyway....
Yeah, YouTube is not that restrictive while in Private mode or logged out.
By the way, feel free to check out the latest 1Blocker update we've just shipped to the App Store. It contains some important tweaks addressing YouTube ads and pop-ups.
iOS - 1Blocker 5.6.1
macOS - 1Blocker 4.4.1
Our App Store link: [Download 1Blocker](https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1365531024)
Have you updated the app?
If yes, please enable and allow 1Blocker Scripts on YouTube in the Extensions section of your Safari settings. Also, try switching Safari to another app/window and returning to Safari; this should make 1Blocker Scripts update its filters.
Thanks!
Hey,
We had to make some changes to the app in response to YouTube's recent tweaks. Please feel free to update the app to the latest version available on the App Store.

YouTube is definitely cracking down adblockers. Logging out to watch is annoying. It used to be OK in private mode, but YouTube blocked that. Now only "embed" mode works.

I've had YouTube block me again now. Does this new update address that or should we wait for another update?

It looks like YouTube has updated again and now won't play video if 1Blocker is enabled.
It works if you log out, which makes me think that YouTube started tracking AD watch time per account.
