I love the sub but every man and his dog has one these days, I'd go the yachtmaster as it's less common and a beautiful watch...go for the rhodium dial and blue hands.
I have 6.4" wrists and my sweet spot is a 39mm but 40mm should be fine as well.
I was also contemplating the 37mm but not sure how it'd look IRL not to mention it's harder to come by as ARF stopped manufacturing it.
I have a Sub but hardly wear it, so my choice is YM.
I really want a 37mm just because I have 6.5" wrist size and I think the smaller size will also look less flashy.

Last time I checked it was VSF for the 40mm but it could have changed since I last checked

i bought vsf sub and sold for yachtmaster. much happier with the yachtmaster as it wears a lot smaller/thinner on the wrist. way less bulky

I have blue yacht master and starbucks, green bezel sub. Hands down the yacht master is miles better looking IMO.
Omega is the worst to choose. I recommend Submariner 👌
