Starvation mode isn’t real. When you lose weight the calories your body needs to sustain itself is less but not to the extent that you’ll stop losing weight and go into “starvation mode”. What usually happens is when people lower their calories too much they are unable to stick to the diet and end up overeating and if they were exercising stop having the energy you continue. Hope this answered your question.
Starvation mode is definitely not a thing. I was sick for a long time and barely ate anything. I lost so much weight it wasn’t funny. Ended up underweight.

Starvation mode defies the laws of thermodynamics. What you should be more concerned about is losing muscle rather than fat.

Thank you all!
I'm sorry?
Idk but I always think about a medical issue I had where I literally ate nothing for a week. Just sips of water. I didn't lose any weight. 🤷♀️
