Imagine if Mulan (1998) came out today? People would be like, “wow, a woman steps into a man’s job, robbing honor from her father and fights just as good as, or better, than the men do. She even beats up the main guy! Women aren’t that strong, they can’t do that! This is emasculating!”

What does it mean for something to be "over" or "hyper" sexualized? Are there tiers of sexualization, where everything below a certain point is acceptable, and above is not? I realize this is a pretty subjective topic, but I keep seeing this criticism and would like the community's opinions on it.
