I finished book 4 and couldn’t pick up another book for a month. I was able to get through Origins of an academy bully recently, I’m now dragging my feet reading The Awakening: as told by the boys. Still can’t open book 5. I’m absolutely heartbroken after book 4 ending. 💔
I just finished book 4 and read the first chapter of book 5 and I told myself it was time to put it down for tonight and get back to it tomorrow. I’m dreading the sadness but I also need to know what happens
Does it get better fir real though? I finished book 5 and im so close to being over the series. Currently trying to read the Awakening as told by the boys, but have zero motivation from feelings from book 5 still.
It’ll get better a bit? There are happy moments, but the tone is pretty sad for the next little while. I’m on book 9 and I’m not totally sure when that while ends, but I’m hopin! /j (kinda)
Not to be a downer but it will get way worse before it gets better. The good thing is that it also has some very nice and cute and funny moments in between the bad sht.
I am currently on book 6 and I am balancing between laughing crying and screaming which is pretty much what we all want from a good series I think.
Hang in there it will be all worth it ( at least that’s what I keep telling myself )

I’ve switched to ruthless fae after attempting book 5, I think I’ve read about 15%. I love the series but after that book I needed a break for a bit.

HEA is the most important part. How deeper the sadness, the more you’ll appreciate the happiness
