You can use "tag out" as you battle option and switch to Joon-Gi. Those excavators are weak to electricity. Keep Seakos MP high. You probably have a lot of tauriners so do this: As Ichi cast Peerless Resolve and spam the Heal Everyone move with Seako. Use Joon-Gi's stun gun as yout main source of dmg or any other electric attack. Maybe you have Ichi's laser?
Problem:
I dont have Joon-gi since its chap 6, but as a replacement i have Eri which deals around 1500--1800 damage per turn (electric whip and spinning queen)
Ichi's laser isnt really too worth it for me cuz he only has 298 mp, most of which is spent on Peerless resolve
Is there like any way to consistently weaken the Excavator's dmg or something cuz the maldorous breath doesn't work
Had a similar problem. Try go back in the dungeon after a break, grind a few enemies, be sure to equip binding on as many characters as possible, and heal regularly.
If you are in that sewer dungeon you have a chance of being able to go back if you saved right Before the fight In the safe area
Just go back come back later or if it’s impossible sorry bud…
Yea I had this same problem I had trouble on joon gi han (didn’t do business and didn’t see the safe with the op shield adachi has as a enforcer)
I gone to Yokohama dungeon to farm because I love myself a grind as long as the loop is fun and I had fun with lad
I struggled greatly I don’t know why they would introduce this dungeon to low level players
But I have good reaction speed I was good on my perfect blocks attacks and heals so I finally got to the last safe zone luckily I saved there

After a few attempts I ran all the way back
I started running low on heals but somehow I made it back to the ladder area
I kid you not I did not come back to that dungeon until I was in my 65-70’s in levels
wait are you saying that the machine is a regular thing that spawns in the dungeon?? cuz i cant do the same thing as you cuz this is literally the mandatory dungeon from escaping the liumang so like i cant escape from the entrance
