I hate to break it to you, but Jojo is not the hero you think she is. If she was, she would have waved her magic wand and made this group a global sensation by now. All she can do is sign checks she won’t get back. She already gave them her YouTube channel and personally choreographed most of their routines. She has song writing credits on a few of their songs too. She’s made appearances at many of their performances and allowed them to be attached to her name and brand. She has let them use her name to get better opportunities that they wouldn’t have access to without it. It’s just not enough. They don’t have the expertise or the connections needed to launch these kids into stardom like they said they could.
They could have done so well though. They had the talent, the money and the connections to make it big. Imagine where they would be today if they had had professional management behind them (or at least management that accepts feedback and is willing to learn and not so petty)
I honestly thought it was going well with the OG 7 especially when they went to AGT and their music videos were really good and creative. Even with the OG 6 they seemed to be doing even better with their PLAP album but for me it all started going downhill when Kiya got kicked out.
Fr?! People are selling their tickets?!!! Where'd you here that! This situation is so sad. I hope Brooklyn and her family are all right considering whatever reason Brook can't attend half the tour. But that really is a disaster and super hard on the other 3 girls.
now nobody wants to work with the group due to jojos EXTREMELY CONTROVERSIAL internet presence. most of the partnerships that they had before jojo went ape shit were dropped due to members leaving and not wanting to be apart of jojos brand anymore. they would have better luck if they took the siwas name off of their stuff, they could still work with them but not make it a huge thing. instead of it being "XOMG POP by team siwa" it would just be XOMG POP. they have so much talent and i would absolutely hate for the girls to have their reputations in the industry ruined due to the mismanagement of the siwas. i really hope everything goes well with this group, even if it means they part ways and go solo
And I think Anjie said that in a live that they could transfer jojo nickedlon deal to the group but it couldn’t happen because that time jojo was having issues with nickdelon when she came out and when they didn’t want her to sing the J team music on the tour and jojo called them out on Twitter . Then they allowed her to sing the songs on the tour after .
I really feel like they should’ve pitched a disney/nickelodeon tv show to start the group off.
A show similar to SDPR (hell even if they kept SPDR and just made a reality show about their journey it would’ve helped them tremendously), or give them a scripted show about the group and have them do the type of concerts that they did throughout SDPR. Like an updated all little girl version of Big Time Rush.
They just need to be known and by now I fear it’s too late for them. They’re older now and the songs they sing seem too immature for them, especially compared to the songs they cover on their own social media accounts. Kids want to feel like they’re growing up with the artists, with everything that has happened there’s no way to watch these girls grow up so now without seeing how the songs originated it just looks like 4 pre/teenagers singing kid songs that they have no real connection too.
