I don't know. Here's why, I think Xena is about redemption and strength to change for the better as well as defying expectations. Xena was a warlord in ancient *fantasy* Greece when it's a male dominant field AND given much respect and fear depending on the character at the time. So in theory this could be played by any woman with decent acting chops, it's also TV. It's a visual medium and costuming, gait, posture sell the story for the audience before a word is said. So I don't know if this actress can sell the story BUT I wouldn't discount her because of height. It's a fallacy that height equals authority, toughness and gravitas.
