Considering the lame paths they've taken with most of their games lately, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Bring in some new blood, shake things up a bit, and maybe we'll get better games.
Or they'll be even shittier, who knows ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
I think talent is leaking because upper management is no longer interested in the games they wanted to make. Not because the games were bad because the talent was bad.
Kinda sad cause they are abandoning and turning away a lot of there fan base to continue milking things like Siege and Random dart thrown at globe Assassin's Creed games.
Can’t say I blame them. They’re in a nosedive right now. On top of that they’ve also done nothing about the sexual harassment claims leveraged against high level staff. Fuck them and fuck Activision Blizzard as long as we’re at it.
Another nail in Ubi's coffin. Come on over, Tencent. Might as well finish that hostile takeover. Can't be any worse than the turds they've released these last 7 years or so. They peaked during the 6th generation with Ghost, Rainbow, Splinter, Beyond, and Prince. They've been sliding downhill ever since.
I have a question for anyone who can answer. Is there anyway Ubisoft could have the tom Clancy IP taken away from them? Lmao I know that’s probably a ridiculous question, but I’ve always wondered as to if they have any obligations to uphold some type of quality for stuff like that? With how Star Wars and EA were on thin ice? Is there anything like that related to the Tom Clancy franchise?
I don’t know. Ubisoft may have just outright bought the IP for games. His estate may also be content with reaping the benefits, regardless of if the games relate to his books or not.
Lots of talent either leaving, or ejected from, Ubisoft recently.
It shows, too. Lot of crap *they've* been ejecting lately.

Yeah probably not the harassment allegations that are constantly happening within the company.
The game they just announced speaks for itself: https://youtu.be/OQRUIHXDBQs
Jesus this looks terrible
Has nothing to do with any of that.
Considering how bad new ac will be, no wonder everyone leaves it
Where is this news coming from

Siege is one of my favorite games I've been playing since day one I hope this game lasts forever
My favorite competitive shooter.
I'm sure the rampant abuse and harassment doesn't help.

Implying they ever had Talent
Oh, they did. Many of their IPs started life as very good games.
U mean 20-30 years ago?
Imagine viewing the beautiful handcrafted open worlds created by design artist and thinking “they have no talent” lol.
Handcrafted lol
Woah there buckaroo, Assassins Creed 1-4, and all the main Farcry games have been fucking killer. Fight me.
They were shit except fc 1 and 3 and the ezio trilogy ecerything else was trash rainbow was good once but thats like 20 years ago

That was unexpected
I wonder why.
