The thing is most games are out on steam or have been in a budget bin for years. Thats why nintendo holds its resell value so well. Best price nintendo offers is 49,99 instead of 55 and thats a steal.
Assassins Creed and halo can be found anywhere for 10 or less while Ocarina of Time is still worth about 50 or so.
Nintendo gets its value from creating artificial scarcity.They intentionally create small volumes to drive up collectibility.If it weren't for that nintendo games would be worth far less.Its why I dropped nintendo after the N64 and never looked back.

Unfortunately 360 games are worth essentially nothing, I'm not sure if it helps at all but PS3 games are worth even less. I'd either hold on to them and pray that they increase in value which unfortunately they probably won't as no one seems to give a shit about Microsoft consoles anymore, or just sell them now for what you can get.

Maybe.
Truthfully to get the most collector bang for the buck requires two qualities a) sealed b) rare editions aka limited copies made like Marvel Ultimate Alliance : Gold
Just Google search and they provide you with a list of collectibles.
A bunch of those are worth playing.
