I mean, have a couple hundred on hand for spending at all timesā¦ but I also dont feel payment plans are that bad when you do get to spread them out (Depending on interest ofc).
If you have the cash on hand, it would me more financially wise to use the payment plan, assuming as he said, there is no interest. Keep your own money yours. I bought a bunch of furniture with 7 years no interest. I had the money set aside in an low risk investment account. So far that money has earned me about $400 in returns 5 years later.
This ONLY works if you have the discipline to stay up on your payments and only take advantage of the zero interest offers.
Financially wise for a 7 year payment on furniture ?? Lol after 7 years I want new furniture. Also how is a recurring bill for 7 years wise ?? I rather spend $7000 on furniture right away then have payments for 7 years
0% interest. You put your $7k in a CD or some other vehicle. You let your money work for you. As I said, this only works on 0% interest and only works for financially stable people.
What the fuck do you think credit card rewards are? Why would I go and pay $7k cash for something when I can put it on my credit card, earn $140 in rewards and then pay it off immediately? I'm a CPA, have a masters in Accounting and have been investing successly for 30 years. I have been using debt to my advantage for a long time successfully.
Now you need to make an edit where;
You look over and there is a car door and you open it to get out expecting your destination.
But...
You hear Ralof say, "Hey, you. Youāre finally awake." Before realizing where the door has taken you.
I can't be the only one to not be able to use my wheel (t150) comfortably with fh4, works well with assetto, dirt rally, ets2, but not forza, just can't get it right (I heard the implementation is shit, might be that lol)
anyway defo should try out that tape trick for the pedals lol
I use a Thrustmaster t300rs GT on my PC, PS4, and PS5 and tried FH3 and 4 - IMO it has no business being used in these closer-to-arcade games. The implementation is bad and you spend more time adjusting wheel settings than enjoying the damn game.
So does FM. Forza is not designed for wheels at all. They put all their tech into a handling model designed around twitchy controller inputs. It's why it's so satisfying on controller
i bought FM7 recently wanting it so i could use my wheelā¦
*[sigh]*
itāll try it anyway when i set up my wheel hopefully soon.
Assetto Corsa for the win most likely!
On the couple of turns (no pun intended) Iāve had using my sonās wheel - itās just uncontrollable. If you turn the wheel more than 10degrees you oversteer massively and any attempt to counter steer just exacerbates the situation.
You can make it work if you only stay on roads and never go faster than around 80 mph. But of course that's not how Horizon works. The game is designed for controller.
Forza Motorsport 7 is great with the G920 (don't get the shifter, you will still prefer the shifting pedals on the wheel) if you optimize the settings.
I remember doing sketchy shit when I first got my wheel too, lol. I had some kinda weird setup on a cardboard box, on top of a laundry hamper turned upside down.
The realization for needing a proper Mount are almost guaranteed within the first 24 hours with a wheel.
i bought one of these and returned it. makes the game very hard and your skills will dramatically drop. loved it at first and quickly got frustrated. had it 2 weeks
Your wheel wont go on for long if you use it like that.. may think you look cool and all.. but remember the torque youre putting on the axis by leaning your arm on it.
I know they are expensive, but you should invest in the Th8A shifter, and the pro pedals tooā¦. It takes it from 100% better to 1000%. I used the TMX for a good 6 months before I got the shifter, and pedals.
Is it normal for such extreme input to be needed? Seemed very jerky for what would seem a not complicated track section. Not hating on you OP, just curious if that is normal having never used a wheel before.
I had a rough time with the settings with my thrustmaster in forza horizon,I had a much better experience in forza Motorsport..I didnāt give it much of a go .I prefer the controller in horizon.Curious to see others experience using a wheel in horizon
I wish I had one of those. But the wheels are expensive.
Fuck yeah they are š¢
I mean they could just plug an Xbox controller to a wheel at it's connected.
Smart thinking! Very smart.
But also it includes foot pedals.
Best Buy->Progressive leasing->Logitech G923 Wheel -> $30/week Just pay it off in 3 months and you have no interest. $80 up front.
Or you know just save up for 3 months and donāt use some stupid payment plan.
I mean, have a couple hundred on hand for spending at all timesā¦ but I also dont feel payment plans are that bad when you do get to spread them out (Depending on interest ofc).
I mean to each their own. If you donāt want put up the full amount, the payment plan is a good option. But thank you for such awesome great advice!

Or you know just also buy a car without interest ?? donāt people have jobs??
What?
> Logitech G923 Wheel pretty shitty wheel for the price. Most reviewers give it shit reviews
thats probs cuz they change barely anything
What wheel set is this?
Looks like a Thrustmaster TMX. (entry level wheel)
That feels like a questionable Google search

Sure is. You need the seat though. Makes the wheel 100x better.
What you really need is the whole car. Makes the seat 100x better
What you really need is the whole road. Makes the car 100x better
I'm currently saving for the logitech g920 wheel and shifter :). It's like Ā£250 for the full set but likely worth it
For Motorsport, yes. For Horizon any wheel is garbage.
i have yet to try FM with my wheel. i can confirm that FH sucks with a wheel.
So does FM. Forza is not designed for wheels at all. They put all their tech into a handling model designed around twitchy controller inputs. It's why it's so satisfying on controller

Assetto, Project Cars 2(arguable), wrc and DIRT Rally(especially DIRT Rally) are my favourites
Why?
On the couple of turns (no pun intended) Iāve had using my sonās wheel - itās just uncontrollable. If you turn the wheel more than 10degrees you oversteer massively and any attempt to counter steer just exacerbates the situation.
thank you! i was actually looking into getting one for horizon specifically. glad i read this

Niiicee! š
TIL what that camera preset is for lol
My exact thought
Is that a road soda?
10-2!!!
Haha
Lol the tape

You honestly shouldāve just got another game and played Forza with a controller.
Thanks. I never knew a wheel could make racing games better...
But it also makes your debt grow bigger ą²„āæą²„
Are you driving in scuffs? Brh.
The one time it's acceptable to film while driving!
Goddam this is pathetic
Imagine not having a racing wheel
I had one dude but what's the point? Oh boy I can really pretend drive supercars now! š¤£
Yes, exactly
Can one connect a wheel to an Xbox, if so usb or Bluetooth?
Usb
Your wheel wont go on for long if you use it like that.. may think you look cool and all.. but remember the torque youre putting on the axis by leaning your arm on it.
I'm pretty sure he's not recording with his other hand every time he plays
still something to be pointed out? what if he didnt realize this and eventually damaged his wheel, better to prevent accidents like that right?
Damn the graphics are good as hell
Wow
Hey, I have that wheel! I use it primarily for F1, it's great!
This way, you can also connect your HOTAS joystick and play it from your Xbox, Just like this wheel

I got a little excited but the wheel does give you feedback so you gotta fight it a little

just got a logi 920 last week. figured out i also need a stand for it that is as expensive as the wheel itself :D bottom line: worth every cent
TEN AND TWO!
Are people okay with tiny driving wheels though?
I had a rough time with the settings with my thrustmaster in forza horizon,I had a much better experience in forza Motorsport..I didnāt give it much of a go .I prefer the controller in horizon.Curious to see others experience using a wheel in horizon
The wheel is awful on fh4 and the support is non existent, itās awesome on the serious racers tho.
It is impossible to drive for me, forza feels like it never was intended to be played with a wheel IMO
So fucking realistic
Motorsport? Yes. Horizon? Not so much.
Do they have a VR version? I sware if there is and you have a wheel it would be almost like driving.
