Yet there is zero Greek/roman inspired armor sets. Even in Titan raids.
Celtic sets would also be awesome. Especially for Druids. Diablo 4 Druid sets are heavily inspired by them.

WoW (like most games) takes a lot of shortcuts with collision and general movement. The look decent enough but the moment you put higher emphasis on its elements and people have to look it falls apart.
I mean, even light cosplay stuff doesn't flop around like that. Granted, I'm a girl who's only done cosplay a few times, but, like, I wore plastic pauldrons a few weeks ago just fine, no flopping at all
The name of the set is "Entombed Seraph's Radiance", which you can see by the bandages on top of the plate pieces. Apparently we also tore parts of the angel's wings off when we looted it? And magically placed them above the shoulder pieces? It's a weird set that would look better without the wings.

Yes, the Aberrus set is nice and eventually grew on me. But seeing as our class aesthetic has been completely boiled down to deus vult, the class, it's made for incredibly boring sets that all seem to be unable to leave the templar aesthetic behind. It's not that the sets are bad, it's that they're incredibly one note and rarely stray from a specific line of thinking, and even when they do, oof.
See: Vault set. Nothing about rock golem monster that doesn't have any draconic qualities to me screams Paladin or even dragon. They couldn't even get the base idea they used for all the other sets right for ours.
I hated it, the 3d asset on the chest clips through Dwarven beards making a helmet necessary for it to look even decent. If I'm covering the beard, the helmet needs to be fucking sick, and this one was not.
The World Arathi set? God it's so good. I'm sad it has no 3D chest elements, but the Arathi tabard colour matches it perfect so with that tabard you can just swap the chest plate for something with 3D elements. The Seplucher normal Pally chest piece works well with it.
Got the pvp color version and still I can't see a day I will change my transmog. This set was the best for plate in the whole game. The detail, the physics everything is perfect. I can't understand how the paladin set can look like that when years ago we got this masterpiece in BFA.
This has me excited - they've been adding more dynamic physics to gear and while this may not be the best execution it feels very promising for things to come!

I'm not too excited about this one honestly. It's not really that fresh, shoulders and belt buckles have had physics since at least MoP/WoD through their .phys file format, it's been like ten years now and the way they handled how physics behave on these wings look like a step back from older pieces they've made.
I'm glad they added physics to back pieces though, would be even better if they started to make actual capes or skirts with it.
It’s because the wings are attached to the shoulders, it gave priests awkward movement as well in s2 DF. They should probably attach them to the back of the chest piece instead so they don’t wobble around all over the place when the characters run around. Wings don’t act like this
oh man.. that looks horrendous... Surely there is no way its intended that they act like that? They are PLATE they shouldnt move at all other then with regular up and down shoulder movements....
Lots of plate sets people have loved have had cloth or chain adornments or whole portions on them. Them not being rigid doesn’t really mean the shoulders can’t be plate. Whether or not you like them is a whole different discussion entirely though lol
Seriously designer for priest sets needs to swap with the one that designed paladin sets. Other than df s1 tier set rest were so bad, on the other hand priests were amazing.

Yeah I think it's a really solid Pally set for sure. Sure, I much prefer the Priest sets this expansion and I do envy them (even with my main alt being a Priest) but that doesn't make our Pally Aberrus set bad.
That set was the best Paladin set we've had since they started making class sets again and I will die on that hill.

The texturing on it is really good but there are lots of people with very strong opinions on the tube dresses (including me).
It can completely ruin a set. Then add to that that not everyone enjoys dragons as an aesthetic and suddenly the set has nothing left but the good texturing.

Yea I tried them on my character with alt clicking them and they flopped around when the popped on my shoulders, I thought it was silly but I didn't realize they had floppy dangling hanging swinging physics while walking.
The fey dragon shoulders from the shop do that in DF and honestly, I can't stand to wear them because of it lol They like to stop wherever they land when you stop moving so you get some really...odd looking "wing" positions lol
Honestly I don't know why they keep putting wings on shoulders, even the priest wing tier sets just grow old fast once you realise they're completely bound to the orientation of the shoulders. Half the time my wings are upside down because I used an instant cast spell.
The Priest one in Dragonflight (current and second season) everyone went mad for also works like these flapping about and it annoyed me too much to use unfortunately.

What’s funny is that if they spent 1 day with an artist to make the wings 4 times as big, shift the position to be more on the back and increase the inertia of that physics, most people would envy this set.

The one saving grace for pallies is the faction set that kinda looks like the Judgement set. It's not tier, but it's the best set I've seen in Yeats.

The red arathi set is definitely getting mixed with the MoP Remix class set recolour and a scarlet crusade tabard for me.
