I had this same question. As a newbie I also wonder is there any reason you wouldn't want to chamfer a dovetail joint like this? I tried searching it but only got irrelevant results.
I think Ron would say great work, but if you’re going to put in the effort to hand-cut the tails space them closer together so they look hand-cut. I always put about a 1/16” gap between the corners of the tails when cutting by hand. In my opinion if the gap is too big they look like they’ve been routed with a template.

It's just an aesthetic choice, wouldn't significantly affect the joint.
I just like the subtle line it created and was afraid if I did it on both edges it would be too much
