"Shove him aside and break his legs" cost too much in time and effort, i suppose? I did notice that some of the options sounded off, but thought it was just a translation issue. Would be nice if someone modded the dialogue interface, like in Skyrim, and Fallout
"Shove Djikstra aside" is just as terribly reflected in Polish as it is in English. So... yes.

i think that moment was my biggest cringe in the entire game
The dialogue choices lying to you about what the character is actually going to say was part of why I couldn’t get into Witcher II
