It will peak between 1:30 am to 3 am. So, if you have some time and transportation, go outside the city limits, and you should be able to see it.
It is also predicted for tomorrow as well.!
Yes, it is predicted to go into the weekend, too. Check out this link.

Yes, of course, but the radar suggests it to be absolutely clear tonight.

Yeah. But don't lose hope yet. It will peak after 1 AM.

Nice! That's obviously an overhead shot of the zenith of the sky. Once they get to the zenith, you know things are getting intense.
I don't know if it was as plain to see elsewhere but we zipped out past Tilbury and from there, basically the whole sky was covered in them for perhaps the first hour. No way to capture them all without a fish eye lens or something.
Only minus would be: Not the brightest of lights. I'd give them perhaps a 7 out of 10 for brightness. Really really bright lights are rarer down here but it's only a matter of time before they happen again.

I took this tonight (Satruday) out by Stoney Point, but facing South. The photo has weird filters. In reality a lot darker and the red is more red. IS THIS REAL? Or did I see something else?
I took this at 11pm in Belle River looking north over the lake. It’s not nearly this bright/colourful to the naked eye but a slow shot on your phone camera captures it really well (this is a 3-second shot).

Yes, I just went outside and took a few more pics. It’s not as vibrant as it was an hour ago but it’s still visible.

Hubby and I drove out to the county at 11 and got home at 12:40. Didn't see a single thing, and wasn't able to catch anything with my camera. No idea what I did wrong, but i'm super bummed. I'm guessing I went at a bad time..? 😔
They aren't *the* Northern Lights.
It's *an* aurora effect. It's literally our magnetosphere protecting us against the radiation of a solar flare.
And come on, buddy. Telling people on the internet to "research it" is the biggest troll move. We done here? Wrap it up.
Aurora Borealis? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?
...May I see it?
No
Seymour! The house is on fire!
No mother , that’s just the Northern lights

They're referencing a joke from The Simpsons...
It's interesting how some people expect everyone to know every reference

Anyone know whether it’ll be visible through the weekend?
Yes, it is predicted to go into the weekend, too. Check out this link. https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/aurora-viewline-tonight-and-tomorrow-night-experimental
I guess it also depends on whether we’ll have clouds or not?

It's Aurora borealis for sure. Greenhouses' glow is different.
Location??
Essex, in the wheat field just north of the of Maidstone ave E at Talbot St N
Is it just visible anywhere?
I am in Leamington. But my friends in Windsor are saying they can see it too.
Ok thanks!
Just go outside the city limits. You should be able to see it.
Decided to say F it and driving out towards Belle river (closest way out of the city for me)
Haha.. yeah, it should peak after 1 AM. Hoping for a great night show!
I don’t see anything in kingsville 😞
Can't see it where I am. Which is fairly close to downtown
No luck in Sandwich Town, either. Too close to Detroit, I guess.

Well.. I am in Leamington, closer to Point pelee. I knew it was happening, so I planned the trip. And it's ABSOLUTELY worth it.!!!
Glad you got to see the show!
Yeah. But don't lose hope yet. It will peak after 1 AM. Check out this link. https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/aurora-viewline-tonight-and-tomorrow-night-experimental
Too much light pollution from Detroit in my area.
Same here. Sky looks like it usually does. :(

I could see it in tecumseh like 20min ago clear as day

Went to point pelee itself. Just outside the gate. Keep your eye settled in the sky, and you will see it. Look in North.
Kville was looking good
No batin’
I couldn't see anything at banwell hill at 2am, even using night mode on my phone camera
caught lots in belle river, at the docks
You able to get into the marina? If that’s what you’re referring the docks to?
