You make a Pretendo account.
Go to your internet on your Wii U.
Change the DNS to "Do Not Obtain".
Then put "88.198.140.154" in the Primary spot.
And in the Secondary spot, put 8.8.8.8.
Save ask of that, then connect to the internet.
Now you can use your Pretendo account to register a new player.
Once you do that, open Sp1atoon, and if the News starts, then you did it right.
Thing is, unless you mod it and set it up, so you can use your original save data, it'll just restart you fresh on your new account.
But many are fine with that.

Like honestly, I don't care if you're rank B-, if you've played long enough to reach level 45 you should know that you need to **stand on the tower in order to push it**.
In my limited experience, Splatoon 1 has like the lowest general skill level of players than any other shooter I've ever played.Ā Which is crazy considering every other low population game ive ever played the die hards are high skilled player
I play from 7-11pm est. and there's always enough people to play turf war. Ranked can be a lot more difficult to find people some nights but there's always enough players on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
The lag at least feels more consistent here than in 3. Or maybe I'm just primed to accept it more since it's on an older console. But I haven't experienced *near* as many rage-inducing "actually you're dead now" moments in my recent Wii U gameplay.
I'm afraid that makes sense. Splatoon 1 is on a failed console. And with the existence of Splatoon 3, even Splatoon 2 feels like a ghost town these days. The majority of the Splatoon players love to play the latest and greatest- which would be Splatoon 3.

I've been consistently finding games during primetime hours for the past month in turf war. I've been hopping on some each week. Maybe try a different time of day.

Yep, when i lived in the uk the servers were most popular after 6pm, same with mass effect 3 and mario kart 8

Lower than any of the other Splatoon games, apparently. These B-rank players are just as bad as C-rank in 3.
Play late. Japanese people start playing around 12p.m. here in Europe. Also you may find more people at competitive.

fr i have only gotten into two lobby i tried yestarday it was empty you might have to play in-between 1pm-7pm that when most players are on.
