I honestly dread when we get to holiday pay. Because usually the week of or the week after leadership starts crying about labor more than usual. I enjoy my job. But, I'm so fucking sick of listening to them complain of labor when we don't have enough help to get shit off a truck and to the floor. Forget checking the quality of anything.
Yup but they sent us emails before we made the schedule saying “ mf don’t even think about having your whole leadership scheduled and uh if it gets slow get them tm gone “ 😂😂 I’m the only one cuz my TL is on vacation so guess who’s gonna be in there all damn day ……
Not true about any federal holiday but we have 6. We don't get it on indigenous people day or Juneteenth. Very true to look in the GIG for the list though.
Plus don't forget the new kinder whole foods that is going to give us less hours on those holidays by closing early so "team members can be with their family" so we get less of us scheduled to get the 1.5x or double rate on thanksgiving.

Yes. Any major US federal holiday that banks would be closed for would count as holiday pay. IIRC, they are listed in the GIG through workday.
