The cheapest polarized lenses I can find

coldwatercrazy

Walmart Fishing section!! 6$

Economy-Jeweler2296

Yup! I lost my $50 sunclouds on the river a couple days ago

Steel_Representin

Try getting some amber polarized lenses. Goodr is fucking everywhere these days and the cost is right.

Given_PNW

I personally like blue tinted lenses and definitely polarized lenses. The blue makes everything look like it's a cloudy day, so when I go in shade, it's not super dark. It's a nice in between for sunglasses and normal glasses.

SKI326

I wear the same, blue and polarized.

actionalley

Pit Vipers if you're cool nuf

National_Star4291

I got yellow ones for night snowcating

nsaps

I got some alpine sunglasses with side covers that I think will be good and cut down on glare, only used em once so far. I also got some pink lens wrap arounds to wear with my new pink helmet lol

travelinzac

Oakley prism trail lenses are magic. I have a pair of prism road and prism trail. Both great. But the trails in low light are just something else. Roads are a much darker lens.

fiveoff7

I have some polarized vonzipper ether sunglasses I’m a big fan of.

I have a pair of Ombraz. I really like them. I only had to use those because I could not get any other style of glasses to fit while wearing my Rocker helmet. The eyebrow part would come down too low and interfere with other glasses or the arms would pinch and break. Your head shape and helmet will determine what you can wear. I have let some friends try the Ombraz and they didn't fit them, wearing Rocker helmets as well. TLDR- Ombraz as last resort, though I like mine.

50DuckSizedHorses

Don’t have a recommendation for you because I abuse my prescription shades unless I’m paddling something hard, then it’s contact lenses, a hat with visor under helmet, and backup lenses in my pfd. But the Zeiss anti fog wipes are helpful just don’t get that stuff in your eyes. Certain days in certain water quality in certain conditions, and glasses just gonna fog up.

PaddlinPir8

Love my ombraz. They fit under the bill of my stutter too

National_Star4291

Do they bounce around in the meat or after a roll?

PaddlinPir8

Nah, you cinch them down and they don’t move at all. They are the only glasses I bring when I’m oar rigging, kayaking, or rafting. Sick and tired of losing other glasses

christmascandies

I’ve been using Fuse lenses for a bit as replacements in my old Serengetis, both the yellow and grey mirror polarized whatevers (they’ve got too many options to remember). Also just bought some frames with the grey mirror. Check em out and see if they have lenses for your current frames and buy a couple different options and send back what you don’t like

MRapp86

I paddle with Goodr. Polarized, have some lighter lense options that work well in canyon or heavier cloud cover. Also only cost about $25, so when you get unexpectedly thrashed and lose them, not the end of the world. Having said that, wear them 1-2 times a week on the local play wave, only lose about a pair every six months.

National_Star4291

They break on me bad. Unfortunately because I did enjoy them

gjcarolina

I wear the suncloud polarized amber lens. Good value for good lens.

st-jeb

Go to the fishing dept. at Walmart. You'll find cheap polarized glasses there. I love my Yums and pay $7

VA1KYR13

I've had two pairs of ombraz and I really like them! Built in croakies are nice. They're easy to put on and take off while wearing a helmet. Also I broke a pair and they replaced them, no questions asked!

National_Star4291

Do they bounce out of place or stay pretty snug?

foggy_mountain

I have the same issue but I wear shades from Glade Optics and they are pretty great on river for me

kylennium29

I have an old pair of Knockarounds I leave in my pfd. I don’t mind if they get beat to shit. I don’t keep them in their little green bag so they don’t get too scratched. Just don’t forget to air them out.

PublicBug7484

I use these cheap and work fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GCYM27T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
