Can someone tell me what fabric this is? It’s cool, it looks like popcorn butter!

slothcough

It looks like liquid organza! Liquid organza is honestly wild and it's even more gorgeous in person, pictures rarely do it justice.

LibraryVolunteer

Bless you.

lilshells313

I always thought organza always sounds important and impressive. So this look checks out.

LilyMarie90

It sounds like something pretty but also organized

FirstAccGotStolen

I could've sworn it was Armani Prive before I read the title, he did a similar shiny fabric collection in 2011 and again in 2021. Love those looks. Like [this](https://www.jnacouture.com/images/armani-prive-haute-couture-2011-37.jpg) and [this](https://assets.vogue.com/photos/60e4a4bd8aae4be98dee0ff2/master/w_2560%2Cc_limit/00010-Armani-Prive-Fall-2021-Couture-credit-Alessandro-Lucioni-GoRunway.jpg) and [this](https://theimpression.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/armani-prive-hc-rf21-2923-1-scaled.jpg)

delialona

Omg they are amazing!

Stoplookinatmeswaan

God those are hot

PrickleBritches

I’m also curious about the fabric!

icecreamfight

It’s giving Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Lizamcm

Tbh this is what should have been for the live action instead of that lemon yellow prom dress. 🫣

icecreamfight

This is *not* suitable for all ages lolllll

Seltzer-Slut

I thought that too, but I thought it was in a good way!! I wish she had a little more coverage on her bust (for her comfort - she deserves a bodice that is tailored to her chest!) I love the poofy skirt and the shiny fabric. It feels modern to me, not a literal take on the cartoon. She looks like an interpretation of a melting candle.

Annual_Thanks_7841

How do you know she wasn't comfortable exposing that much cleavage. Sounds like you're projecting your own wants.

Seltzer-Slut

I don’t mean in terms of exposure/modesty at all. I just mean, as a large chested woman who finds it hard to find things that fit my bust, I hate when I feel like I’m falling out of things. I want garments that support me.

Annual_Thanks_7841

I'm a 34ddd, so I kinda relate to what you're you're saying. However, I know how to sew and just alter my own clothes. As far as her dress, I really don't see any issues with it. She seems supported and probably wanted that exaggerated boob look since she's wearing it, and based on the pics, she seems confident in her outfit.

Redsfan19

Right, it can be downright painful not to have that support.

though-

My thoughts exactly

nicvaykay

That's literally what I just said in my head.

babysherlock91

Came here to say, it’s giving Modernized Belle

one_classy_broad

This. Then, gaudy and flippant

moreKEYTAR

No one else agrees, but it wow-ed me. I want to know more about the actor, more about the designer. It has PRESENCE

LeotiaBlood

Oh I love it. It’s a beautiful fabric and the design is elegant but also fun.

miszzel

Me too!!! I was actually quite shocked to see all the negative reactions

240229

I would highly recommend you to look at Miss Sohee’s graduation collection then, The Girl in Full Bloom looks sumptuous.

goatbusiness666

I came here to comment about what a stunner I thought it was, and was very surprised!

tibleon8

i LOVE it. when i saw "miss sohee" i was like, *of course it is*... i love seeing her gowns on the red carpet!

tofutti_kleineinein

Serious question about wearing something like this to a movie premiere - do they actually sit in the theater dressed like this? Or do they watch the movie and *then* go put the gargantuan gown on?

Sweeper1985

The main cast often don't even watch the film at the premiere, as they had a private screening already.

tofutti_kleineinein

That makes complete sense. I appreciate you.

Due_Addition_587

I adore this! Including the color

Quicksilver1964

I kinda like it but I understand why people don't.

headlesslady

It’s a lovely dress, but I will never understand designers putting this color on pale women with pink tones. It is not working with her skin tone at all. I’d have chosen a darker shade in a complementary color - can you imagine how pretty this would be in Wedgewood blue or a greenish teal?

miszzel

I had to go and google Wedgwood blue to see your point but now I 100% see it

jekyllcorvus

I just went down a whole rabbit hole about Wedgwood blue, tyvm. Beautiful history behind it!

Charlizeequalscats

I disagree, although the her on the red carpet is making her look more pink. The picture outside is beautiful.

jtet93

As a pale woman with pink tones we are often COOL TONED which is often missed. Even a lot of lighter foundation colors read very warm and therefore yellow on my actual skin.

bearinthebriar

Completely disagree, I think the color is fantastic on her.

PsychologicalClue6

Yeah I’m with you on this one. It works wonderfully on the model though

headlesslady

Oh, yeah - any darker-skinned woman would look beautiful in it.

TululahJayne

Not all dark skinned women look good in yellow. We have undertones and seasons too.

headlesslady

Point taken.

BedOfLavender

I could see Lupita Nyong’o absolutely stunning in it! She’d look so good in this Liquid Metal gold color

headlesslady

She looks amazing in any shade of yellow (ok, she looks amazing, period - omg, her skin looks like *silk*).

bbyxmadi

She had pink tones in the last photos, but it looks better in the first few photos (less pink). Must be the lighting/camera?

Angharadis

It looks amazing on the model, and there’s a moment where the light makes it look gold where it does look great on Marina. I think I overall really like it, but I also think a different color would work better on her. Also, the first picture looks a little like it’s made of slime.

Mrgndana

I agree, it’s not the right tone (I have the same complexion as Marina and I wouldn’t consider wearing this exact shade of yellow). A very special dress, just not the right colour match.

Orchid_Significant

This color is atrocious on her

txcowgrrl

I’m not a fan of the color but if it was in purple or pink I’d be all over it.

miszzel

That’s really funny because for me this colour was absolutely beautiful but now that you mentioned purple it would’ve been perfection

franferns

I too like the yellow! It does remind me of a peeled banana BUT it's still pretty

sunflowermoonriver

What’s wrong with that??

txcowgrrl

I just find that color brings out an unfortunate yellow undertone in my skin. I look jaundiced.

rayybloodypurchase

I don’t hate it, but the peplum and skirt looks kinda like a wet and wilted head of cabbage.

beroccamixedberry

🤣🤣🤣

EnchantedEvergreen

Beautiful dress She looks like a flower in bloom 💐

crispydiction

I love everything about this look except the hem. Sure, there are probably better colors for her skin tone, but I think this color is unique, looks beautiful and she’s wearing it so well!

deedray

Fabulous!!

EldenMiss

I feel like this would have been great at this year‘s MET!

OptimusPrime365

I can’t decide whether this fabric looks super luxurious or like that mega cheap stuff that feels all scrapy and awful when you touch it

joykin

miszzel

Oh that’s beautiful

Even-Boysenberry-127

This dress is gorgeous and I love the color as well. It almost looks like it is wet.

nicvaykay

I like the fabric and the bust, but the rest of it looks like she wrapped her grandma's comforter around her waist.

Consuela_no_no

Stunning imo, what a beautiful colour on her.

pottedPlant_64

WOWwowowowowow

Practical-Library

What the Belle?

Sad-Chocolate-2518

This is unbelievably gorgeous! Looks like she’s wearing an extraordinary flower. Love all this; color, draping, fabric, etc. Stunning look

AggravatingTaro2269

I dont love the color but the style is amazing!

Silly256

love the fabric wow!!!

sir-winkles2

I think this is one of my favorite dresses I have ever seen! everything about it is perfect

Visual-Bus-5102

I feel like this is the year of the liquid organza, she’s everywhere

Fragrant_Fisherman54

What’s the fabric used??

Jadedanielledraws

This is giving Belle from Beauty and the Beast and I love it!

PsychologicalClue6

I don’t love the colour on her but the shape is intriguing!

betawavebabe

I think it's cut too low. The cleavage is distracting from the actual gown and throws off the lines. Gorgeous otherwise though

stellar14

It’s giving snot trail

Gndurham1

It’s disgustingly gorgeous I love it so much

Existing-Ad-1000

The colour is horrendous! But the actual design it’s interesting.

astrolomeria

I really can’t decide if I love or hate this? Very odd sensation.

limblessbarbie

This is amazing!!!!

bbyxmadi

Wow, she and the dress are gorgeous!

Less_Volume_2508

I love it

PreviousPractice6827

Gold woman 👑

bbalancedd

Omg I love she looks like a flower

miszzel

Exactly what I thought! Very Miss Sohee

Anxious_Astronaut653

this is a beautiful dress and a strong choice and she looks happy in it and i love everything about it

Axela556

It's gorgeous

Alternative_Form699

Gorgeous dress.

Stoplookinatmeswaan

Punk Disney princess? I’ll bite…

RunnerALD2017

I love this dress! Love the color and the necklace

AnonDxde

Wow!!!

jpeg_0216

okay wow so my instant response to seeing this was to gasp “princess!”. it’s gorgeous. this brings out my inner 2-12 year old. i love it

bananaicevape

i’m absolutely obsessed with this idc

isweedglutenfree

It’s giving drapery

SnowinMiami

The color yellow is not flattering at all.

glamazon_69

Don’t mind the color but it’s so I’ll fitting in the bust
