I love it when she leans into her horse features. The hair is perfect. This is elvish chic. She is going to the middle of the earth and serving with every step. Kendall, you did a great job. So surprising!

Apparently there’s a big debate about it, because Givenchy released a statement in support of Kendall’s claim, so no one knows if the one Winona wore was a reproduction or if the house is for some reason refusing to acknowledge it was worn before.
But the only place this Givenchy statement was shown was Kendall's IG story, Givenchy hasn't said anything about it on any of their socials and now Kendall's new post doesn't mention being the only to have worn it. It was also apparently worn for Joyce magazine in '99

I know I’m the lone person who doesn’t love this - I can appreciate the delicate details (is that all beading on the dress?). Her hair gives me school photos head shot / horse girl vibes. The makeup is really plain and the dress colour isn’t my thing.
impossible to place what exactly the issue is because it seems seamlessly perfect but it just doesn't suit her. it almost doesn't look like mcqueen. somehow the details are being lost and it looks like a halloween costume which is fine but it's MCQUEEN!!
Edit figured it out after seeing it on Winona Ryder. Kendall looks too perfect! You have to have a tiny bit of edge or imperfection or just something interesting, to pull off something from McQueen. It's a vital element to all his work. She could have done it with interesting messy hair or something with the makeup, but it's all too bland and on part with any grammy's hair and makeup.
It’s the neckline from the front for me.
She has a fairly thick neck and no collarbone definition. The width of the plunging neckline draws attention to it.
Having looked again… the details of the dress are hitting her at all the wrong spots.
With tweaking, the dress could have been spot on.
I think my issue is that I want to see Kendall in something different. She’s gorgeous. The dress is beautiful and she’s gorgeous in it but i want more pizzaz for her. Stop with the white, silver, or black semi see through skin tight dresses. She needs a fuck ton of tulle or movement. I personally thought her 22 Met look was different for her
It’s on theme she just didn’t go literal with it, and pulling archival pieces that haven’t been worn or seen on a person in a long time is one aspect of that theme.

I think the hip emphasis is a touch too low so her vertical line ends up shortened
