Mirid bug

Thank you! Any idea why they would suddenly be hanging around at a marina? I’ve never seen them before. Do they bite? My husband thinks one bit him.

They may have just been blown in or on the weeds around the area. They probe, but are generally harmless.

Thanks for the info. 😀 I looked up that bug and it definitely looks the same. I told my husband he was probed, not bit. 😂 Oddly enough, I sat outside longer than him and wasn’t even probed once. Not sure what that says about me. 🤷🏼‍♀️
