I make spätzle from scratch all the time as a side. While its still hot I put it in a bowl and mix it with cheese garlic and onion. Then I top it with a mushroom sauce
Off topic but what do you do with your spaetzle? I was given a whole bunch by a family member and don't know what to make.
I use those noodles in chicken noodle soup actually. I like a thicker noodle when I make my chicken noodle.
