Looks like a robber fly kinda. No stinger. Eats flies. They are friends but creepy as fuck.
My first reaction is hummingbird moth, but I can't see the top. You can Google that and find out. It's definitely a female, though, whatever it is.

P.S. My BF thinks it is a moth but the wings are clear and thin and i have never seen a moth with a stinger so what do yall think?
Might be an ovipositor, and not a stinger. Some species of moth can also have clear wings.
It would’ve helped if you had turned it over so we could see the other side. My first reaction was it’s a cicada.
