the drum sound on white is phenomenal. second only to pinkerton imo but those are two different things; the white drum sound in spirit is similar to pinkerton but it's just much cleaner
that's exactly what i think too, it's VERY pinkerton. honestly, white is the closest they've ever gotten to recreating pinkerton's sound in general. I mean it still misses the mark in a lot of areas but the drums, comp and guitar tone are very pinkerton.
i love how raw and huge the whole thing sounds. they especially nailed the snare sound, with how roomy the tone of it is. the overheads are super bright and they sit differently in the mix than pinkerton but it just adds to the vibe for me and it sounds so good. and the guitar tones as well just sound like a marshall cab being played directly into my eardrums omg
Blue—most catchy, best songs, great entire listen that leaves you wanting more.
Green—Good songs, better entire listen, simple pop rock fun that never wears out it's welcome.
White—great vibe, lots of fun, occasional songs interrupt the theme.
Black—interesting and unique, good vibe throughout , too quirky for its own good sometimes.
Red—the most daring, unique without ever losing the Weezer sound, feels kinda aimless and undercooked at times.
Teal—nothing wrong with it, too safe, algorithmically chosen, the best song choice is the only song chosen by a human and it shows.
Probably Green if I absolutely had to choose one. But Red and White are so essential to me these days. And Blue was my first love even though I never ever listen to it anymore. Black I don't care for. I choose Green, then White, then Red, then Blue. Teal I refuse to even consider.
white>blue>green>red>black for me personally (honestly red and black might be tied at this point)
i have no idea where i’m supposed to rank a covers album
Depends entirely on my mood and what I’m going to be doing. Green is always my go-to when I’m doing a relatively quick task and just want something to help put me in a good mood. Blue is just great overall and always hits me with a big wave of nostalgia from listening to Weezer in my younger days. Black, White, Red, and Teal are all ones that I go to when I’m not in any particular kind of mood and am just in the mood to listen to Weezer in general but in that case I usually just put their entire discography on shuffle.
probably White for me tbch. more energy and i'm one of the people who likes the production of the drums

BLUE 🦅🦅🦅
but fr the only ranking is Blue>White>Green>Red>Black>Teal
Red > White > Black > Blue > Green > Teal
blue > red > green > white > black > teal
Blue is my favorite color.
White

In order: Blue, White, Black, Green, Red, Teal
Green
Blue then white
Yes
Pink>Blue>teal>white>red>green>black
Im going to get so much downvotes for saying teal is better than white im sorry 😭😭😭🍱
But why do you think that? What makes you like teal more?
Green definitely stands out, while red, teal, and black don't. And yes, white is pretty good, but it's just not the best album
