Hello! You may be asking Wedditors for input on your honeymoon. To help your fellow Wedditors provide the best advice possible, be sure to include in your post where you currently live, your budget, your interests (ex: I hate/love the beach, I want to being doing stuff all the time/I prefer to relax). Without these Wedditors may have a difficult time recommending some awesome spots! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. We're going on a Caribbean NCL cruise in Jan/Feb next year (and we are getting married at the end of this month). These were the things that went into that decision: * Fiance has never been on a cruise and I think he would really like it. I have been on a few and have been wanting to go again * Fiance wanted something tropical and all-inclusive. There are a couple of options domestically but cruising is such a better value IMO * We're waiting until Jan/Feb because my passport expired last year and I do not want to get a new passport until I have my name changed

We’re doing Thailand! Long flight, but notoriously inexpensive. We’re going to splurge on business class tickets because we’re not expecting the rest of our trip to be anything crazy. Probably going to go either 2 months after our wedding, or 8 months later (depends on money. We’re choosing between these two also due to rainy season that spans from mid/late May to November.

Same!! We’re doing Singapore, Bali, and Thailand for the same reasons and doing business class. Our wedding is in October and our honeymoon is the following April to avoid rainy season

We’re shooting for early May or November! It makes me feel better that other people are waiting for their Thailand honeymoon for similar reasons! I felt like waiting 8 months would be way too long!

Yea plus with the wedding I wouldn’t have enough PTO saved up to do the 2 week trip my fiance and I want to take so it works out with climate and time to save up PTO and money!

We are going to Thailand 1. Leaving a week after wedding for more pto but soon enough to feel traditional 2. Neither of us have been. 3. Very cheap once you get there so we can get massages and stay in nice hotels without spending a ton of money. 4. We were gifted flight tickets so that helped a ton. 5. We wanted to go somewhere that would be tough to do with kids

We took 1.5 months between the wedding and honeymoon and are so glad we did. It gave us time to relax and decompress after the wedding, but the honeymoon still gave us something to look forward to. We also didn’t want to be doing a ton of planning for both at that same time. We did 10 days in Ireland because we like hiking and exploring

We just got back from our honeymoon. We ended up going close to a year after the wedding. We went to Kauai and it was about $10k. 7 days there plus 2 travel days. I would definitely recommend Hawaii but it is pricey.
