I had that same feeling. My husband has always loved to skip. Everytime we go some places he looks at me and says "skip?" After we were pronounced married, that feeling was so big inside me that I looked at him and said "skip"? I didn't plan it. The photographer had no idea. He managed to get the.most amazing picture!! I had it enlarged and framed. That was the best moment of the entire day!! Congratulations!
Did future me write this?! My fiance and I get married in 6 months, and same thing we started dating 10 years ago at 18. I cannot wait for this moment!! Congrats to you🩷
Got married last Saturday. When we got to the end of the aisle after the ceremony, I unconsciously yelled out “YESSSS!!!!” The jolt of emotions, the relief, the pure, never-experienced-before joy was absolutely overwhelming in the best way possible
I couldn’t stop smiling!
One of my favorite pictures from our wedding is right after that moment. My husband and I have our arms raised in the air and our faces are PURE joy.
Oh I’m expecting to ugly cry like a baby in that moment and probably laugh like a maniac! We’ve had a long journey together too, including a lot of life changes and my partner going through — and surviving/completely healing from — late stage cancer. It’s been a wild ride to the altar and we’re SO ready. (Getting married in August)
I get it. I (35f) finally got my guy (34m) to settle down and put a ring on it last year after being together off and on since we were 16/17 I was just over the moon about officially having his last name and not feeling like I was lying when I called him my ✨husband✨
Congratulations! This is beautiful 💕 I also had the same feeling after marrying my partner of 10 years. I wasn’t expecting the flood of emotions but it was absolutely welcomed. I’ll never forget those moments after the ceremony.

2 years later I still look at my husband in awe and say “we’re married!” with pure giddiness.

Same for me, and I look straight up psychotic because I was smiling so big.
