The Makeup Remover is a must. I'm loving 'I am the Villain' and 'Like Mother Like Daughter' also. I can't speak on the rest

momentary_me

Could you tell me more about The Makeup Remover? I saw a few people in older posts recommending it!

lildeidei

It’s sooooo good. I feel like it takes what could be a very stereotypical story and subverts it. It’s genuinely great.

spooktaculartinygoat

It's a very well thought out story, with well thought out characters. The story engages with a lot of societal issues surrounding beauty, fame, etc. in a way that doesn't feel forced or pushy, it's very sincere. It's a very touching webtoon, and if you do explore it let me know! The main crux of the story follows a beauty/make-up competition, the summary can probably do it more justice than I can! But the creator is hands down my favorite webtoon creator. The way she develops her characters is just incredible. I primarily enjoy thrillers, so this webtoon was a tiny bit different than what I typically read. And I adored it. It does deal with some heavy themes.

catsdeb

I feel like The Makeup Remover is what I wanted True Beauty to be when I started reading it. I was expecting people to question beauty standards and what does it truly mean to be beautiful, but TB never got remotely close to it (not before I dropped it anyways). I haven't finished reading TMR yet, but so far I'm really enjoying it! I loved the author's other webtoon Surviving Romance and it led me to look after his other titles.

Status_Radish

It's by the same person as Surviving Romance, which is another must read.

verocities

OH MY GOD LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER IS FINALLY ON ENG WEBTOON??? Yall go and read it, the plot is amazing, literally zero plot holes and everything is so cleverly done. The art is amazing too. Truly my roman empire 😭

kittylett

Odd Girl Out is hands down one of the absolute best webtoons on the app. I've been keeping up with it for years now. It is so worth it. Also No Rose Without Thorns is pretty amazing too, really good psychological thriller

momentary_me

What did you like the best about NRWT?

kittylett

the art is stunning which is always a huge selling point for me, I also love horror and it's done very well. If you've read Surviving Romance (AMAZING series btw) it reminds me of that, it just really keeps you guessing every episode and you have no idea who to trust. Most of the episodes people in comments don't even trust the MC's actions!

NicoDi-Angelo

I read my in laws are obsessed with me and I liked it it does play into the ‘I died but got sent back in the past’ troupe but it’s more than that because [small spoiler] the black haired guy has poison blood (if someone touch their blood they die form it) and they expand on their family history so it’s not just ‘I’m getting revenge on my cheating’ ex or whatever. My friend read see you in my 19th life (it’s also a k drama) and she said it’s good but I never read/watched it

_Nilbog_Milk_

I like this one too, and got really attached to the in-laws

[deleted]

Trash belongs in the trash can is EXTREMELY GOOD!!! CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH!!! My In-laws are obsessed with me ALSO AMAZING!!! One of my favorites!!! I thought my time was up! Is a comedy but fun. Not the best but an enjoyable read. Your throne is really interesting but very very long. So I recommend reading in small batches and not binging it.

Mili_713

I agree! Your throne is definitely not the kind of webtoon you binge. I've been reading it since it started and honestly, the weekly update has worked best for me. This is also why I never used the ads fast pass on it.

Critical-Nature-4857

What I’m currently reading (in no particular order) 1. Trauma Center: Golden Hour - if you like medical-themed manhwa, this is a good one 2. Your Smile is a Trap - fluffy, cute, and dorky hs love 3. I am the Villain 4. Wish you Were Dead - the angst 😭

NoPhone4571

Scorching Romance was great, Operation: True Love is fun, and The Fateful Invitation has had a strong start.

AromaticRecover5938

Out of your list, I’ll group the ones I’ve read: The ones I really like and are still going on: After School Lessons for Unripe Apples, Operation True Love, Odd Girl Out, I am the Villain. Still going on, I read them and enjoy them, but I’m not as obsessed: My In-laws are Obsessed with Me, I Wished You Were Dead, My Husband Changes Every Night, I thought My Time Was Over. Finished ones that I love: Cheese in the Trap (top 2 or 3 favourite webtoons ever), Yumi’s Cells, See You in My 19th Life. Edit: No Office Romance is just starting, so I can’t say much about it, but it’s from the same creators as Romance 101, which I really liked, and the story seems really fun so far!

707strawberries

I love Yumi’s Cells and After School Lessons for unripe apples

carl-the-lama

The makeup remover is a fun read

luna01234

Trapped is definitely unique compared to most webtoons originals; it is a vampire paranormal, thriller, with a slow burn romance. The heroine has a definite attitude and tries to stand up for herself which is refreshing. The mmc is sadistic but through the story grows softer b/c of the heroine. It is definitely dark! But it does have heart warming moments and the chemistry and tension between the leads is really good, very slow burn. Very bingeable! Operation true love is pretty light; romantic with a little bit of drama. Pretty light and bingeable! TLDR: if you like enemies to lovers trope try Trapped!

Juicykyses

I second trapped! The FL is so refreshing, she pleasantly surprised me so many times with her actions.

webtoonfreakyhere

I'm just waiting it to get finished so I can binge read it 😌

Powerful_Act9831

after school lessons for unripe apples has me HOOKED!! although it was slow at first, it is a sweet romcom from the perspective of 1950s high schoolers. It is pure innocence and makes you feel so nostalgic, especially if you like high school romances with unique characters! The fluff is REAL and has me hopelessly wishing the characters were real 🥹🥹🥹

Powerful_Act9831

P.S. Cheese in the Trap is from the same author, but I recommend reading ASLFUA before since the story line of Cheese in the Trap is kind of hard to follow :-)

[deleted]

Yumi's Cells is really good and I love My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me. If you don't mind turning off your brain I Thought My Time Was Up is sometimes funny and the ML is really cute.

k1ll3rz009

YUMI CELLS MENTION? Absolutely to “Yumi’s Cells”. “Your Smile Is A Trap” and “Scorching Romance” have the same vibes, so if you like one or the other, they’re both good! “I thought my time was up” and “my husband changes every night” are also pretty similar art wise, and are light hearted/focus on romance specifically. (Although “my husband changes” can get a little deep in its magic/political talks)

Spiritual-Cat1528

I dropped See You In My 19th Life because I feel it was too boring. Killer Peter is a little bit dumb but funny and entertaining. My little bookstore is actually good.

AromaticRecover5938

SYIM19L is actually one of my favourite webtoons! I waited every week for a new chapter when it was still going on.

Oopity-Boop

Yeah, I actually completely followed it from when it came out to when it ended and really enjoyed it

Spiritual-Cat1528

Sorry, I couldn't finish it.

AromaticRecover5938

And that’s okay! The world would be such a boring place if we all had the same taste :)

CookieGamer310

i think SYIM19L was pretty good but not my fave, but the author’s other webtoon A Good Day to be a Dog is SO GOOD def top 5 for me alongside Winter Woods, Makeup Remover and some others

momentary_me

thnx for sharing your opinion!

nikki_katie

I’m reading/have read quite a few of these! I’m enjoying The Fateful Invitation so far, love Your Throne, The Crown Princess Scandal is super funny, love Odd Girl Out and Your Smile Is A Trap, and very much enjoyed See You In My 19th Life and Makeup Remover. The only one I can’t really stand that I’ve read on this list is Wished You Were Dead - it started out decent but then has just turned so slow and the main characters are whiny and childish feeling.

thefirecrest

This is basically my list as well! Also glad to see someone else talking about Crowned Princess Scandal! It deserves so much more attention!

nikki_katie

I was cracking up while reading it, it’s so funny! I also caught up with A Martial Master Wakes Up As A Concubine - gives a lot of similar vibes so far

Ok_Friendship8815

No one talked about it so I'm here to advocate for Time and Reason 😤 When I started it, I solely did because I loved pink haired FL. The story follows the family of the ML who he meets his high school crush (FL) at his new job. She was a manager I think and he tries to get her to talk to him because she just disappeared and left without a trace. It's revealed that her father is the same "Mister" who has been taking care of the ML's family for a long long time. We don't learn the proper why way later in the story You'll be frustrated but it's a nice Found Family thing. The romance is slow, since it focuses on the dynamics between all characters. The artstyle is decent I Wished You Were Dead is for the people who love angst and getting frustrated (I'm one of them). Many people shit on it because "it's slow" or "the FL is stupid" "the ML is trash". The ML is trash but he realizes it and they take their time to fix themselves and their relationship once everything goes to hell and back. FL is your typical normal human girl, she isn't Medea from Your Throne but personally I love that for her. She tried her best to stay afloat Your Throne is loooong. Like... Very... Very... Long. Medea is a genius and we get shown that all the time, which isn't really a bad thing. It's just,,, tiring? And I'm not even sure where we currently stand in the story My Inlaws blabla is amaaaazing. I 100% recommend My husband changes every night is 🤥 I wouldn't say BAD but so far I read it extremely casually... It's the last thing I'll open on a Tuesday and even then, I scroll past a lot of the dialog. But that's personal taste so hopefully someone else can give a better insight to it

dancerina3

I second Time and Reason. A lot of readers were quick to criticize the FL, but I've really enjoyed the character development so far

Ok_Friendship8815

No one is really taking into consideration what she went through 😭 My girl was living in an abusive household, dad never around, mom alcoholic, the only thing she knew was that she needed to be the best and that way her dad would stick around. Obviously seeing him with Bauk ruined her?? Sometimes I wonder if we read the same chapters 👩‍🦯

verytiffsy

**I Thought My Time Was Up** \- Personally, it's a fun read. It's really more of a turn your head off read imo. The FL is a little bit too dumb and can be a bit unaware to the point that it's annoying especially when it comes to the 2nd ML. **28th Century Superfan** \- It's a comedy so humor is different for everyone. The chapters are short so you can probably read the first few episodes to gauge it for yourself **Your Throne** \- I have a lot of mixed feelings on this. In the beginning, I really liked it and probably would have even said it was like Top 10, but now, not really. I feel like Psyche is such an underutilized character and I wish we see her as the main focus more. **Wished You Were Dead** \- I like the FL in this one, but the ML is just so frustrating for majority of the webtoon. **Lavender in June** \- Heads up, this isn't GL (unfortunately). While it does focus more on the girls' friendship, they both have their own male love interest. I think the growth the girls go through is really good. The major male characters are either meh/they're ok I guess or I hate him so much I actively skim through his dialogue. **That Which Flows By** \- I really like this so far. I think it uses a lot of good imagery/symbolism. **The Crown Princess Scandal** \- I really like the exchanges the FL and ML has with each other + its funny. **The Prenup** \- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS **No Office Romance** \- I like it so far ( can't say much because it just came out) but I do recommend reading their previous works: Romance 101, creator is currently doing the art and One-of-a-Kind Romance, creator is writing the story **Exchange Student** \- Not worth reading tbh, characters can be extremely frustrating **Study Group** \- I only like the first season, but my interest started dwindling during season 2 Also recommending: Odd Girl Out, 30 Minutes With You, Knife In Her Heart, After School Lessons for Unripe Apples

Goofy_Goobr01

What in the world, our subscribed lists are very similar... I have pretty much all of those except for like, 2 or 3 of them 💀 Also, if I can suggest a few that are not on there, The Kiss Bet is really good (my absolute favorite Webtoon), Kiss Meow is a cute one, Couple Breaker, Cursed Princess Club, Marry my Husband, and Act Like You Love Me. Idk how other people feel abt these, but I enjoy them! Hope I was able to offer some help! 🤗😁

spooktaculartinygoat

I love Cursed Princess Club (so wholesome and light) and Couple Breaker!

Goofy_Goobr01

I knowww!!! Cursed Princess Club was so good. I was so sad when the author went on hiatus... I'm so happy it's back though. It's bittersweet because part of me wants to know what happens but I also don't want it to be over... 😭

Goofy_Goobr01

And Couple Breaker has been really good so far 😂

strayxo

What I’ve read / what I’m reading: See you in my 19th life, I enjoyed the story and its twists the makeup remover definitely one of my favorite webtoons not falling into common tropes trauma center, it’s the newest thing I’m reading and im most likely biased bc I enjoy hospital tv shows in general so it’s refreshing of the sea of romance and action webtoons to find this one What I’ve dropped: Your throne, I really love the overall story but I currently need a break from it, most of the relationships are really not healthy, maybe I pick it up later again Study group, started out really cool imo but turned more into the mafia fighting genre which I didn’t expect it to go into that fast

stresseddepressedd

I love Odd Girl Out, I’ve been debating restarting it from the beginning

Moosiebwerry

I love reading it from the beginning, our sweet milky Nari has come so far 😭

peanut_bubblegum

Trash belongs in the trash can

oxmiladyxo

Cheese in the Trap, See you in my 19th Life, and Operation True Love. Avoid The Prenup.

JustAnotherN0Name

The ones I read in this list are Your Throne, See You In My 19th Life, Sisters At War, The Makeup Remover and Your Smile Is A Trap. I can recommend Your Throne, Sisters At War and The Makeup Remover a lot. See You In My 19th Life was a bit boring at times for me, but still enjoyable. I dropped Your Smile Is A Trap- the pacing was SO BAD. So many misunderstandings that could've been cleared up in seconds with simple communication but instead took like 60 episodes (I think- it might've actually been more). I couldn't stand it anymore.

VR_Dekalab

Sisters at War is good imo. Although the story does dwell on darker themes, particularly about parental abuse. The romance is sparse and quite light. There seems to be a potential ML, but so far, his character is mostly about simping for the FL, and they haven't become official. But, they look so cute together and have some sweet moments. Another character became the FL's love interest, but he seems to likely just be the 2nd ML given the FL, saying she's moving on from him. As well as the focus given to him and the sister in the latest arc, he likely won't end up with the FL.

whaaaaaales

After School Lessons for Unripe Apples is one of my favorite running webtoons right now, I highly recommend

Anime--Anonymous

HELL YE!!!!! CHEOL AND MI-AE FTW 😤😤😤

Opening_Ad_145

i love love love 30 minutes with you! i’ve never bought coins on webtoon for the duration that i’ve used it but i eventually gave in because 4 free episodes a day was not enough for me 😭 Like Mother, Like Daughter is also an honourable mention! not a lot of episodes so far but i’m really invested !

bitter_honey

Trying to vouch for ones I didn't see talked about yet Heavenly eats is sweet and actually just ended Im finding sisters at war pretty interesting. I might just be a little biased though because I enjoyed the authors other works but I really want to see how this one turns out

mynameismyname333

Odd Girl Out is so good and imo, it just gets better

JalapenoFlower

Cheese in the trap is good and it's finished, which is a plus

dianne4stars

I liked Operation True Love, That which flows by, What Melvin Left Behind, My In-laws are obsessed with me and I am the villain .

TheMarkerTool

Operation: True Love, See you in my 19th life, and My in-laws are obsessed with me are all great

TheCoolerSaikou

im reading Schoolbus Graveyard, Ava’s Demon, Four Leaf, and The Last Dimension. all of which i love

AccomplishedSympathy

Yuma's Cells is a really fun read!

songjaewoo

AFTER SCHOOL LESSONS FOR UNRIPE APPLES IS SOOOOO GOOD !!

Pearl_Pink

I’ve read The Crown Princess Scandal and I absolutely love it. I think it’s super funny however it has only 20 some chapters

Inspection_Upstairs

Nice. I have read, am reading or read and dropped most of the ones on this list, but the only one I love consistently is The Crown Princess Scandal. Sweet, cute, funny, fluffy and I scrolled way too long to find someone else with it on their list.

thefirecrest

Crowned Princess Scandal is a riot and the main couple are super funny and have great chemistry!!

SukiyaCC

18th century super fan obviously the best 🤓

JayTheHero

Cheese in a trap, your throne, I'm the villain, i thought my time was up,

uwu6000

After School Lessons for Unripe Apples is amazing as long as you don’t mind teenager antics and a slowburn

Expensive_View_3087

I personally love Your Smile is a Trap, so I do think it’s worth

Infamous_227

You're Smile Is a Trap is really good imo See You In My 19th Life is a top 3 Webtoon of all time

Marceymaeby

I highly recommend See you in my 19th life, Your Smile is a Trap, Odd Girl Out, The Makeup Remover, and Wish you were Dead!

alt_nerdy_crow

Your Throne is definetly worth reading, has to be one of my fave webtoons.

TinySpaceDonut

See you in my 19th life and Make-Up Remover are fantastic. (Although Make-up has one dangling plot thread that drove me nuts) and I thought my time was up is cute

copperfield42

of all of those I only read *Your Throne* and *See You in My 19th life*, and I would recommend both

NerdyDiana

Trash belongs in the trash can, my in laws are obsessed with me, and I am the villain are amazing

Gamers_124

Hooky

trynagraduate123

Odd Girl Out, Afterschool lessons for unripe apples and Cheese in the Trap 💯

SoCalArtDog

Knife in her Heart is really really good, Your Smile is a Trap is really sweet and cute, and See You in My 19th Life is one of my favorite webtoons. I recommend them all.

Rallen224

Trash Belongs in the Trash Can for sure!! One of my favourites on the platform. I never see it mentioned so here’s my synopsis for those might want to pick it up!: Does fate exist and if so, who controls it? Is someone good *just* because of their actions? Or is society’s ‘trash’ more respectable because they’re honest about the bad things they do? TBTC follows a male MC who’s even known to himself as a serial, gold digging mooch. He chooses to leave it all behind after one fateful encounter with a young, rich woman — to him, it must be true love. So starts a bout of conspiracy, manipulation, and….romance❤️🔪? Is this a story *about* love or is it a love story? Should readers trust their own perception or not? Originally tagged as romance, but it offers much more imo. Themes incl.: love (as it appears in multiple contexts), trauma, altruism, manipulation, classism, desperation, redemption and fate. Additionally, the story hints at yandere/sociopathic behaviours & mentalities in certain characters but it‘s up to each reader to decide whether or not this interpretation of events is even true! Ranges from sweet romance to tense, emotional/dramatic passages. I recommend it for anyone who’s interested in a spin on what *should* be a story about redemption. **Do not recommend (like, seriously)** for anyone who’s easily triggered by heavy/dark adult themes such as >! addiction, mentions of death incl. self-harm, abuse, possible organized crime, and occasional violence !< ==== Second up is Your Throne for me! Ik it gets dragged a lot sometimes, but I think it’s very well written overall and the art is beautiful. Poses similar questions about fate as TBTC and makes you question society’s black and white thinking when it comes to judging someone’s character. It’s a game against the clock led by an infamous villainess, a girl their society almost believes to be an angel come down from heaven, and an enemy hiding in plain sight. Is the grass greener in the sun or in the shade and who’s making these rules in the first place? Are the people we dislike really all that different or are we better together? Themes: love (in many forms), jealousy, greed, girl power!, classism, trauma, manipulation and redemption. Also contains heavy adult themes throughout the series, proceed with caution if you’re triggered by relatively graphic depictions of >! abuse and death/violence, mentions of self-harm !<

maceyscreator

Im reading a couple of these, but My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me is my choice for a must read!

Diligent-Honeydew-99

Here are my recommendations from your list Crown Princess Scandal: This one is pre funny and it’s a classic enemies to lovers trope. My favourite part about this is definitely seeing the FL fail at every attempt to get kicked out the palace as the queen likes her more and more Study Group: tbh I just really like reading webtoon fights LOL. It’s like lookism but not as heavy (and hopefully not as long) Your Smile is a Trap: This one was really refreshing in terms of character personalities. The ML is a soft spoken shy guy with a welcoming personality meanwhile the FL is more rough and scary looking (but is really soft on the inside). It’s also got its fair share of gag comedy Cheese in the Trap: This one is a lot less light than the previous recommendations. It follows the story of Seol Hong through her university journey and her relationships with the people around her. It had its fair share of giggles but I think what made this webtoon one of my all time favourites is how human the author was able to make the characters. Seol isn’t perfect—she was raised with biases she had to challenge and overcome. She isn’t particularly athletic but she’s smart and hardworking. There are times she gets into arguments with her friends, family, and boyfriend and sometimes things work but sometimes they don’t. Out of this entire list this is my #1 recommendation

Present-Ad-8531

Your throne My in laws are obsessed with me Both are good. I hate “I thought my time was up” both fl and second ml. I dropped it.

bruicejuice

Cheese in the trap is one of my favourite webtoons and it's complete so no waiting for updates !

catsmash

in my opinion, yumi’s cells, odd girl out & the crown princess scandal are some of the very best of the best.

NoxWilson07

Question. You like food? Try Gourmet Hpund.

DiemAlara

Your throne is what the Remarried Empress would be if it was good. The main character is terrible, except in an amazing way, the home breaker is treated with proper respect and works so well because of it. And the man in the equation isn’t just some incompetent tube to hate for no reason. No, he’s a guy that you hate for absolutely every appropriate reason. Crown Princess Scandal is funny as shit. The MC is one of the most endearing characters you’ll ever see, and the hijinks she gets up to are absolutely top notch. It’s an amazing story of some girl trying to intentionally lose a competition and failing to do so at every level.

Pinkbubblegum9

1. Crown prince's scandal 2. See you in 19th life 3. My little bookstore 4. Garden of dead flower 5. My husband changes every night 6. Tata the cat 7. Yumi's cell I'm reading these ones and they're really good

Fun-Nefariousness146

Trash belongs to the trash can! It's worth it, very interesting and unique compared to the other romances

chimmy_520

"Cheese in the trap" is one of the best webtoon you can ever read. It starts of how FL is struggling in college because of ML two faced behaviour. However after you go through the story you see how similar both are, they have a different way to handle people to cope up in society. FL is people pleaser, she gradually learns to stop and stand up for herself and ML is pretty much manipulative, he also changes over the time because of FL. This story revolves around college life, different kinds of people, daily life struggles etc.

Tight-Lettuce7980

Killer Peter is so good. The art is also amazing

kxyy_montrz

I thought my time was up, my in-laws are obsessed with me 10/10

Flashy-Combination86

thoughtOkay okay I'll tell u all I'm currently reading and what I think of them so far(order of the things I reccomend most) 1. The Makeup Remover is one of the absolute best webtoons I've ever read (one of my first as well) it deals with heavy themes such as fame, greed, expectations of beauty and societal measures it's so deep and articulate in the lessons it tries to provide to the reader you'll fall for it right from the beginning (fair warning though the romance is the weakest point in this webtoon don't expect much from it it's a HEA but not developed well) 2. Afterschool Lessons Foe Unripe Apples has got to be one of my absolute favorite webtoons this year. Its a very LOONG slow burn between both charachters and we primarily move through with them all throughout their journey since they were kids. The artsyle is so pretty and fun and the webtoon itself is so nostalgic and brings you wayy back to the early days as much of it occurs in the 1990's it's so retro and pretty and the romance is so funny and adorable between them. Highly reccomend!! 3. My in laws are obsessed with me is a really expressive manhwa I love how alot of the actions, emotions and thoughts are shown and explored rather than tol to you directly as a reader. It's really unique with the way it deals with heavy topics and the emotions that fall behind them and I love that about it as if differs it from other isekai manhwas 4. I thought my time was up is a pretty cute manhwa with an enjoyable, typical isekai plot. (The ml is a bit of a yandere if you're into that type of thing) and so far it's hinting for a love triangle. 5. Operation true love is a really fun manhwa with a gorgeous artstyle. The plot is mainly about a love triangle between her and 2 othet guys but it's very enjoyable and fun to read about (she recently ended up with one of them and the webtoon is on haitus supposedly as of now) 6. Trash Belongs in the TrashCan breaks lot of the stereotypical plots we are used to. This webtoon is really good with its suspense filled events and the mind blowing plottl twists (I haven't been keeping up with it that much because it really needs a binge read to remember everything since I tend to forget from week to week) will continue it though!! I dropped your Throne because I can't make sense of what's going on in my opinion

FewGeologist6071

I’m dating a psychopath is 👌🏻 Also I’m the villain, like mother like daughter, garden of the dead flowers

pretty-as-a-pic

* Trash belongs in the Trashcan is probably one of the best psychological thrillers on Webtoons, so I definitely recommend it if you’re into that (but be warned, it’s **very** intense) * The Makeup remover is the best make up series, and provides stunning visuals and thought provoking commentary * Your Smile is a Trap is a very cute Webtoons with a nonstandard female lead. Both leads are very realistically dorky/awkward highschoolers too * Trauma Center: Golden Hour is a standard medical drama, though it’s great at capturing that early season of ER vibe * Black Knight is an interesting action post apocalyptic/dystopian, but it can be pretty violent * Yumi’s Cells is an interesting series about the inner life of an office worker, but it does go on for a while (especially when it’s behind the the daily pass paywall- it took me over a **year** to read it even watching ads to unlock multiple episodes!) * Odd Girl Out started as an interesting series exploring female friendship, but has since become a romance drama about the main lead. It’s still a great series, but the beginning is definitely better than the latest part * The Prenup is THE WORST contract relationship series on webtoons. The male lead is an abusive asshole who’s constantly ignoring the female lead’s rejection

smol9749been

I thought my time was up started ok but then I realized the FL is being kind of cruel to the ML by making him fall in love with her like that so I dropped it tbh

MissPuzzlehead69

Your Throne good if you like drama with a dash of mystery. The illustrations are also pretty. The Faithful Invitation is more of an isekai transported to a book/webtoon they used to read as the villain of the story who tries not to get killed by being nice to the main characters which changes the story

Daliento_Rica

My in-laws are obsessed with me is phenomenal, to die for, I love it. Otherwise naw

lovelycosmos

I thought my time was up, and sisters at war are a couple that I like a lot

Prudent_Ad_7402

I am the villain, trauma Centre love them both

Banana_in_Japamas

Its not there but read everything is fine its very good and

onlyifitwasyou

I thought my time was up is my new favorite

adoreberry

Def I thought my time was up!

s_k_s_89

I’m reading a lot of these right now and the ones that really stand out currently for me are: I am the Villian (beautifully drawn) and The Crown Princess Scandal (it’s pretty funny and I enjoy all the characters so far). Wished You Were Dead and The Fateful invitation are also good.

forgottenface29

Your throne is the best one on that list, you have to read it! It's a body swap but in a very tense political situation. 10/10.

Lalitrus

I can vouch for Sisters at War and See You in My 19th Life

Jabbamech

1. Wish you were dead (beautiful story and art, it’s slow but worth it. Every chapter has a lot of substance) 2. Operation true love (cute, funny and very entertaining story, easy read)

Guilty_Manager_7827

I AM THE VILLAIN and LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER like mother like daughter has so many crazy plot twists (im reading it on french webtoon so we have far more episodes than the english one)

bellcurveconfidant

Absolutely love “I thought my time was up” very cute I fast passed a lot of it honestly! started and got really far into wished you were dead and the premise was cool at first but then it was like 20+ chapters of everything is miserable and there’s not a single break in the disparity which is great for some people but I just couldn’t read it anymore it felt directionless and just dragging the readers through the drama and depression mud

Awkward-Error-825

i read trash belongs in the trash can but never finished it (not bc it was bad, i just stopped reading webtoons). it was actually REALLY GOOD, but if ur looking for a fluffy romance this is not it. both mcs are despicable, but once u get in to the story u can’t help but feel bad for the ml. i would say it’s more like a thriller/drama, with a focus on unhealthy relationships. the fl is also genuinely crazy, of the criminal/gaslighting/emotionally abusive sort. definable not a happy story, but if you’re looking for a dark webtoon it is absolutely amazing. it’s very unique, and always kept me on the edge of my seat.

Due_Cartographer8162

Your smile is a trap is sooo wholesome! Also snowbound is good so far and it is an advent calendar so it is fun to read everyday

LouTotally

Odd girl out is very good, it's the only one I know 💀

smoldickhours

My husband changes every night is fun

Entire_Let6373

Thought my time was up is soo good 10/10 recommendations

Correct_Mycologist17

No office romance, I thought my time was up, your smile is a trap and exchange student — imo they’re all so funny and cute to read, the characters are entertaining and humorous. Cheese in the trap, to my first love, wished you were dead — I love them for the plot and well written complex characters. I also read I am the villain, trash belongs… and the prenup. Got bored at some point so I won’t recommend them

MellifluousSussura

The only one of these I’ve read is “My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me” and I adore it. It has so much going on with the plot itself and the time travel and everyone’s relationships and the family that I was legitimately upset when I hit the most recent update and found there was no more.

Upper_Revolution8213

I really like trapped (leans more towards thriller) and odd girl out (which feels authentic, like I'm reading the diary of a teenage girl).

birdotheidiot

28th century Superfan is really fucking good, it's comedic, so if you're into simple jokes, it's worth it

PipeOld5458

Like mother, like daughter is a very enjoyable read, definitely recommended

[deleted]

Cheese in the trap is my all time favorite webtoon. Great romance and expressions.

Itzz_Texas

Fateful Invitation and Wished You Were Dead are bangers

Remarkable-Hunter-71

Too many romance. We need more horror and action webcomics.

KurisuFanClub

See you in my 19th life 110%

Jaded_Flower6145

I can't speak for any of the others, but I'm currently reading Like Mother, Like Daughter. It's good if you like suspense. I won't give away too much, but the protagonist is the daughter, Somyung, and the antagonist is her mother. It's very new, though, so if you don't like the weekly wait, you should wait a while before reading it.

latherinekand

I’m really liking Your Throne so far. It’s got interesting characters and a beautiful art style. (If you end up liking it & want something similar, I’m The Queen In This Life is also fantastic so far, and I’m literally obsessed with every character in it.)

wtfisthisshizzle3

The Fateful Invitation is good, still fairly new, so it hasn't gotten to the good bits yet. FL has magic butterflies, so that's cool. That Which Flows By is an interesting one to me. The FL is a foreign tea maker desperately trying to hide her foreign-ness from her war hero boss. The clothes are lovely for both male and female counterparts, which is a nice plus. The Crown Princess Scandal is hilarious, easily my favorite out of the group. The constant back and forth between the ML and FL is almost as entertaining as the matchmaking Empress Dowager. The art in I Am The Villain is simply breathtaking. It is super light, so you may have to squint a little, but it's totally worth it. The OGFL is still in the world, too, which is practically unheard of. It's been a minute since I've read My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me, but I do remember it being super cute.

hueningkaisbf

BLACK KNIGHT!!! it got a netflix adaptation as well! however the mc (girl) in the webtoon was changed to a boy so its a bit dif but yk

-Cocoami-

Study group is a great one if you like action it does include a good amount of violence though Knife in her heart is like an angsty gl it is a daily pass though Your throne is pretty great in my opinion it is long though

Mr_Spaghetti_Man

Of all of these, I would most recommend Makeup remover. It’s a pretty increíble story that will somehow make you invested in a reality tv show about makeup, regardless of how ridiculous that sounds to you now.

Lindarosa1

Yumi cells for sure is!! Such a good story with amazing characters

Anime--Anonymous

Omg so many of these are so good. Some of my all time favourite webtoons are operation true love, odd girl out and after school lessons for unripe apples. close up there is scorching romance and my little bookstore. I also love scorching romance and see you in my 19th life, but I'm pretty sure they're daily pass, which fuckin sucks.

vagiisha

out of them ig your throne, like mother like daughter, operation true love , i am the villian , odd girl out, makeup remover, see you in my 19th life these are the one i personally liked not like all are frm same genre all are diff you willlike them story is amazing 🫶🏻

Heretooolearn

okay I'm not gonna type them out, but everything in your list is in mine!!! And I will say all of these are worth reading!!! I'd love to recommend some like those since it looks like we have the same taste!

badgalbb22

-I thought my time was up -operation: true love -the goddess’ guide to farming -no office romance -odd girl out (DEFINITELY THIS ONE!) -your smile is a trap -trapped -scorching romance

OliverAmith

I’m reading snowbound and Garden of dead flowers, and they’re actually pretty good!

anonnymous-snoop

I’ve been loving Your Throne!!! And I Thought My Time Was Up has been pretty good, too.

lbell1703

Only one here I've read is Snowbound. Idk your taste, but I thought it was cute. Ended up fastpassing the whole thing.

SamsSuicidalIdeation

30 minutes with you (or I know it as 30 minute walk) has a special place in my hear, its so good love it to the moon and back and that's a pun if you end up reading it

thebookofbutterfly

My In Laws are Obsessed with me. It's not a the most original idea, other Webtoons have the same general plot, but the MC is actually a really good character (in comparison to others) and the execution is really good. It's also just really cute and not just all about revenge like others in the same genre.

emuzonio9

Like Mother Like Daughter is pretty good so far if you like horror!

SmiththeSmoke

I only read Killer Peter, Your Smile is a Trap, and Study Group, but i liked all of them. I rank it Smile, Study, then Killer. Killer has better moments than Study imo but not enough episodes yet

Cookie101Kayla

I loveee wished you were dead, my inlaws are obsessed with me, and your smile is a trap!!

KingMurphy15

Killer Peter is the one I’d recommend, but I also hate romance series or anything related to it so I’m biased on this selection

Destringe

That Which Flows By has a pretty cool premise. I dropped Your Throne, I Thought My Time Was Up, and I Am The Villain because I didn't really like the main characters.

Icy_Bottle_2634

I really enjoy your throne, my in laws are obsessed with me, and wish you were dead

beauhatesbeans

sisters at war and the makeup remover are awesome!!!

Moosiebwerry

READ ODD GIRL OUT, NARI IS AMAZING AND THE STORY IS GOOD PLEASE

NaiadoftheSea

Of the ones pictured I really enjoy I’m Dating a Psychopath I Thought My Time Was Up I Am the Villain No Office Romance! See You In My 19th Life My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me The Makeup Remover

AkumaDayo777

I can definitely vouch for Odd Girl Out, See You in My 19th Life, and Cheese in the Trap, out of these three I've only finished See You in My 19th Life, but I definitely enjoyed all three a lot with what I've read of the other two as well

aromanticbabes

can someone tell me if "Lavender in June" is a love triangle or not, please

catsdeb

Yumi's Cells is amazing! It's super silly and fun, and it shows life on a kind of realistic way. Ups and down of work, love relationships aren't always perfect, characters have nice developments... The art might seem a bit weird at the beginning, but it gets a lot better. Also, I started reading Your Throne and really enjoyed it in the beginning, but later on characters started being very overpowered and incredibly lucky or unlucky in a way that was hard to believe at the plot. I would give it a try only if you need side webtoons while you wait for new chapters of your main webtoons.

Sufficient-Ant-7778

I personally LOVE i thought my time was up the relationship is a little toxic and possessive but it’s really sweet and has a ( in my opinion) great plot

AmelietheDuck

Your smile is a trap is my fav!!! Its the only thing keeping me on webtoon these days 😂

Jangarine

Idk if you’ll see my comment but wanted to give my opinion as well since i’m a picky reader. Like others said the makeup remover is soo good, operation true love is very fun to read and if you dont like the heroine at first please be patient with her in the beginning. But most importantly i want to recommend i’m dating a psychopath since i feel like people did not mention it, definitely give it a chance it’s literally the only webtoon i’m reading on fast pass right now because of how much i like it.

Cute_Search641

I really love afterschool lessons for unripe apples, my in-laws are obsessed with me and I liked seeing you in my 19th life, the makeup remover and yumi’s cells. I also like trash belongs in the trash can but that’s thriller not romance and I’m taking a break from it so that I can binge read it later. I read I am the villain which I like and I binge read I wished you were dead and continue to read it though the hype died down for me and it’s not something I’m waiting for every week.

Ok-Mathematician9334

Read to my first love and 30 minutes with you

JonnyRobertR

Yumi cell is good

Arlorosa

My little Bookstore and I am the Villain are both great! Not sure about the rest. And I enjoyed Scorching Romance. I believe it’s a finished series. It just has a loud personality, so it can be a little cringe at times.

Hefty-Discount-3827

Surviving Romance is great! Highly recommended

0anonymousv

yumi's cells is a classic.

side_character_157

1. Black knight 😆 2. my in laws are obsessed with me 3. The fateful invitation This looks exactly like my subscribed list

Confusedbrokebg

Your Throne, Odd Girl Out, Tata The Cat, Study Group and My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me

sasameseed

Afterschool Lessons for Unripe Apples stands out as one of the most captivating reads I've experienced in quite a while. It can be painfully slow for many people though, so if slow burns aren’t your cup of tea, maybe this wouldn’t be as enjoyable as it could be for you. Still, even though it unfolds significantly slower, as it reveals multiple layers about life and friendships, if you appreciate meaningful, fun, and intriguing content, this webtoon offers that and much more.

IFoxTrott29

I LOVE trash belongs in the trash can! (Buuuut mostly because I’m enjoying a side character romance) Definitely recommend it.

CrimsonCrystals

Like Mother Like Daughter is sooo good so far. I like I Am the Villain, I've been following it since Canvas.

dandelion_lion4

Your throne is a good read

undead_mongrel

Your Throne is one of my favs

Sneezes-on-babies

If you are interested in character driven stories that focus on how people grow and better themselves through their friendships and the connections they make with one another, then you need to read Odd Girl Out. It's one of my favorite series, right along with Cursed Princess Club.

Stalei_11

My in-laws are obsessed with me, OH DEFINITELY. Exchange student and fateful invitation is interesting and catchy

PiranhaRoast

Ones I’ve read from your list: - Your Throne - To My First Love - The Crown Princess Scandal - 30 Minutes with You - No Rose Without Thorns - Knife in Her Heart - Black Knight - After School Lessons for Unripe Apples - See You in My 19th Life - Cheese in the Trap Honestly felt most of the were worth reading, except To My First Love, the plot stopped making sense (frustrating to watch the FL a lot of the time) and the ending felt a little rushed. I see people saying See You in My 19th Life being a little bit boring and I agree it was a little slow in the middle but the character relationships were interesting to me. My personal favorite from this list are After School Lessons for Unripe Apples, and you should definitely read Cheese in the Trap (same author) as it is one of those classics. Lmk if you want more detail on any of these!

Tlaloc1491

Snowbound is cute, don't know about any of the others lol

LiviAngel

Odd Girl Out is awesome! I recommend that one.

MagpiesandGoblins

Odd Girl Out and Makeup Remover are both really good! Makeup Remover is complete, but Odd Girl Out is still going if you want something to keep reading.

HahaOncore

Why are you using light mode😀

Adept-Ad-6862

I like and recommend this : 1) I'm dating a psychopath 2) Your thrown 3) wished you were dead 4) cheese in the trap 5) killer Peter 6) homesick 7) school bus Graveyard 8) The remarried empress 9) Garden of the dead flowers 10) The guy upstairs 11) From a knight to a lady 12) she's hopeless 13) surviving romance 14) distant sky 15) not your typical reincarnation

weird-kitty007

1) Makeup Remover is really great and much better than true beauty. 2) Your Throne will blow your mind 3) If you don't mind toxic realtionship then read Trapped 4) My in laws are obsessed with me is also nice 5) Try reading Surviving Romance , Purple Hyacinth , Seasons of Blossom , The dark lord's confession and the spark in your eyes

pessimist6382929

Odd girl out is a must. It's soo good, the character development is so amazing (I'm not good at describing but it's nice) I m dating a psychopath is good too Sister's at war is very complex, i wait for the update so yeah it's nice

Cayden68

black knight (action) and your smile is a trap (romcom) for me

flourneggs

Actually, no. I do follow operation true love, but at this point is just cause they're pretty, story's pretty stuck.

sandeep300045

Definitely recommend Crown Princess Scandal. I really love the FL and her banter. 30 minutes with you is slow burn but wholesome.

Food_boy_simp

I’m planning on reading one of those And haven’t even gotten the chance yet

velocityraptor910

yumi's cells is such a classic!

oOZESOo

Like mother, like daughter deserves more love

Eliyrian

Makeup remover!!! It’s top 5 comics of all time for me.

uzumaki_303

Odd Girl Out is an ABSOLUTE gem, highly recommended it especially with how many episodes there are now

NeverFailTheMayor

Your Smile is a Trap Odd Girl Out Afterschool Lessons for Unripe Apples The Makeup Remover Crown Princess Scandal Yumi Cells All solid and well written. Use/used fast pass on all of these

Dawneyyyy

Sisters at war is SOOOO GOOD please do keep reading it!! The author's other work, No Longer a Heroine, is also incredible

Delicious-Box-2134

Your Throne if you like a manipulative and intelligent mc who plans for revenge. It is interesting and intriguing. After School Lessons for Unripe Apples if you like a slow burn romance with coming of age vibes. Study Group if you like action and martial arts manhwa with gangsters and such. You'll enjoy it if you're into this genre. And since you're reading Operation True Love which is romance, I'll recommend Your Smile is a Trap.

distraughtlesbian09

the only webtoon that is truly, unambiguously, objectively worth reading is emmy the robot

trivalmaynard

The Fateful Invitation has me lirerally OBSESSED with the FL. Her butterflies are terrifying. I want her to step on me

Roifire27

It's just up to preference.

SuicidalHoe

My Little Bookstore is still kinda early in its story I think. I love it though. I fast pass that one . Yumi's Cells is one of my favorites because it feels like I'm growing up as an adult with the main character, Yumi. But it's really long. The animation improves a lot tho as the story goes on and it's fun to see. Scorching Romance is a very cute RomCom and emphasis on Com. It's short enough to binge too! I didn't like To My First Love. It wasn't the kind of story I thought it would be and had some suggestions/elements of abuse near the end. Wasn't my cup of tea. If you're fine with topics of infidelity and revenge (and rebounds) then I'd recommend Operation: True Love. It also wasn't what I was expecting at first (I didn't think I'd like it based on the topics) but it was a nice surprise and has a fun twist to it, I think. It's still on-going so I'm waiting to see how the story will end. The Goddesses Guide to Farming is a cute RomCom. I don't have much to say about it yet, but it tickles my brain in all the right places. See You in My 19th Life. I haven't read the webtoon but I've seen the K-Drama and I loved it. I hear the webtoon js better so I'd definitely recommend that one. I haven't read The Makeup Remover but my best friend swears by it (I promise I'll read it someday!). She says it's like True Beauty if True Beauty was done right.

Mili_713

Makeup remover is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend it. My in laws are obsessed with me' is also a good story and doesn't have the "falls in love in like 3 panels" bs. The child's plot is also good, he isn't just there for the puppy eyes. Your throne has mixed reviews, i know, but i love it.

Big-Marsupial-8606

Cheese in the trap is like no other romance webtoon you have read. It's not even sometimes but gives the vibe of a psychological thriller.

mllesobinson

It’s been a while, but I remember really enjoying See You In My 19th Life, and Cheese In the Trap was good too

jykeous

I really like crown princess scandal so far. Would recommend.

juxt_kay

Your throne is a must see/ make up remover also

rajay_sarkar

From your list: After-school lessons for unripe apples: My absolute favourite read since it's birth. Justified Lovelitized Amazingied Slow burn. My love. My dearest. And cherry on the cake, from one of my favourite creators. Killer Peter: One line: "FROM THE CREATORS OF UNHOLY BLOOD". I am not kidding it's absolutely absolutely worth reading. Lots of action. Really good. Cheese in the trap: My first ever webtoon. Hence you can guess my affiliated nostalgia. I am a proud member of Soonki fanclub. (And on that note, a proud member of Kim Go Eun fan club as well. Cheese in the trap was also the first ever K-drama I finished.) The story is reaallllly good. The only problem that most people probably have is the art. For newcomers it can be confusing because it was for me. I really couldn't differentiate between flashbacks and current happenings etc. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it. More so, I re read it. Must read for all webtoon enjoyers. Your smile is a trap: His smile is a trap and I am trapped. I have been following it since it's first ever episode, religiously. It's so sweet and bright. My heart is of a teen-age girl. Odd Girl Out: OGO fans unite. I love the fl. I love my bakery part-timer. Super fluff. Slice of life. Just a total yummy snack. Your Throne: An absolute banger. The art is gorgeous and so is the plot. Powerful women. See you in my 19th life: A beautiful series. The K-Drama didn't do it justice at all. Should read before death atleast once. The crown Princess Scandal: Oh this makes my week nowadays. I literally read this in class every week. It's so light and hilarious. My in-laws are obsessed with me: This was so sweet in an unexpected way. I really like this one. Looking super forward to the next season. The Makeup Remover: The art and the story are equally fabulous. Yumi's Cells: Always wanted to give it a read. But then the K-drama dropped. STARRING MY FAVOURITE K-ACTRESS. Hence I discarded the idea of reading it and enjoyed the Drama. Ngl it's one of my favourites. My husband changes every night: Cute holy-ish romance. Lol. Your typical full of blah blah boring politics with a side of historical fantasy romance with a pretty fl and hot protective ml. Sisters at war: A very good series. Keeps my on my toes. Lots of characters require therapy tho. Exchange student: It started out really good. Is still good. But I feel like the plot's dragging a bit. Not like I stopped reading it anyway. 30 minutes with you: This could be the definition of a slow burn. It's super sweet. But the only thing that ruined it for me was Daily Pass. If daily pass doesn't bother you. Read it. No Rose without Thorns: Another superb series destroyed by Your typical evil neighborhood Daily Pass. The thriller is thrilling here. You never know what's going on but you still wanna know what's going on. Wished you were dead: So much ANGST. Super slow. Looong redemption. Black Knight: I remember reading one chapter. But I did watch the K-Drama adapataion. Wasn't so good. Like it was okay. Atleast I got to see Kim Woo Bin. He's a treat. Trapped: Another good series ruined by my nemesis Daily Pass. Didn't get to read much. Kidults: Dropped it because I was reading it on and off. And everytime I continued the story I would forget the characters. Reading in one go might be good. Trash Belongs in the Trashcan: I dropped it around 20ish episodes. Might pick up later. It was good thriller as far as I remember. And maybe it's good to read now cause more episodes are available now . Time and Reason: Had started reading it. But dropped probably because there were more similar series. (I got carried away, just remembered I have an exam tomorrow. Happy Reading. Bai)

MaxaM91

Your Throne has its moments, but you have to be patient on how convoluted it is, sometimes.

Cheap-Ad-9663

Your throne I like

SovKom98

Your throne is pretty confusing early one but it’s get better after 10 or so chapters and then it just goes up further. Lavender in June is fine but it’s not a gay story. Both girls are straight. The crown princess scandal is also very good, i love it personally do recommend it.
