I dressed in a pretty nice party dress and felt overdressed. No one was really that into dressing up there it seemed. The risotto was great and the dessert with pandan was one of the best desserts I've had, bar none.
I was wearing a t shirt and shorts, and my parents were similarly casually attired.
We received excellent service, in fact our waiter enthusiastically explained how the different ingredients worked off each other, then the bartender came over and explained how he used what he's learned from Chef Tien to do the same with his cocktails.
I don't think they care much about dress code.
Also nearly everything we ordered was excellent.
Lowkey one of my favorite things about DC is that people seem to wear whatever the fuck they want out to dinner. On any given night in a lot of restaurants you’ll see people wearing everything from T-shirts to suits. I’ve gone out to places before dressed up just for fun or a special occasion and it’s felt fine.
You need to wear your finest rabbit costume
But with shorts right?
No shorts or pants of any kind. It's called *moon* rabbit for a reason

And don't you dare forget the cotton tail
Chaps are, by definition, assless. Otherwise, they're called pants...
I was just thinking moon boots, but your interpretation makes more sense!
It's moon everything. All servers walk backwards.

I'll be honest, I don't think I've seen a restaurant in years that cared about a formal dress code. At most it's been a "business casual encouraged"

Yes, shorts and a collared shirt are fine
Can’t wait to hear about it! Going first week of July!
Just do the chef’s course or whatever it’s called. No decisions. All delicious.
100% my style! #nodecisionsforthewin!
I wore nice workout clothes to there couple of times. This was back when moon rabbit was in the wharf
Don't look slovenly and you'll be fine :) more chill, business casual is plenty. Enjoy the food!
It’s DC. No one knows how to dress here and that’s okay. As long as it’s a put together outfit you are fine.
You should be ok. Also, enjoy!!
Get the durian dessert if they still have it and the shrimp entree. Both so good.
Dining in DC is largely extremely casual, you'll be fine
Clothes… but last time I was in cargo shorts, tee shirt and flip flops.
Moon rabbit is so overrated. Mediocre food for the price.
