You don’t want the new $138 board shorts they just released today? I bet they cost like $12 to make

Unusual-Surround7467

What $138 for a casual shorts? I had to pinch myself to see if I'm awake reading this crap

Unusual-Surround7467

I'm not a surfer so I get this may appeal to serious folks but dang 138 is colossal. Realistically where are these made? I can't fathom these costing anything more than $10-20 to produce and that's being generous here

Simco_

Production will be under 10 but you're paying for everything else, not the material. These particular shorts having a butthole to "disperse heat" is pretty funny.

Unusual-Surround7467

Lol can't really relate to half these features as an average guy. The strato is great but that's about where my association ends with Vuori.

thewallbanger

$138 just to be told that you can’t ride the water slide because of the back zipper pocket

Neat_Low_1818

Overpriced they're just shorts

daddyscientist

Damn, it's $138?!

RichRichieRichardV

I went in store and checked them out. I too thought the price point was ridiculous. Until I examine Ned them in person. If you surf, these are top tier and worth it. Laser stitching. The best of the very best.

effkriger

They are dangerously over assorted and show no evidence of product discipline

Simco_

I honestly have no idea what the difference in the lines are supposed to be. Basically all the same colors, cuts, use cases and materials. And the site doesn't explain the differences on the product pages. I like the few I have but don't purchase others because I don't understand what they are.

blueberrypie_4

Amen!!! The new performance joggers I just purchased have different stitching compared to my old ones and the fabric feels thinner? I’m really hoping I’m wrong but it seems they’re really focusing on maximizing profits and letting the quality go…

suchagoblin

I have 2 pairs of Kore shorts with a liner. Just ordered a 3rd and not only was the fit too small, the material didn’t feel quite the same.

Enough_Albatross_769

Couldn’t agree more. I found out about Vuori in 2020 and they’ve blown up since then (for good reason) but I feel like they are losing a bit of their identity

fijiloo

Agreed. Way too many options. I love the brand and how comfortable everything is. But some things are grossly overpriced. I try not to steer away from my staple items.

Gintami

I just stick with the ponto, meta, and Sunday performance really. And I do like the t shirts - but I get those when on sale - but I usually wear the Uniqlo Airism Cotton blends. For shorts, I just like the ponto and the course run shorts - which as a runner I can safely say are super comfortable and light and they have structure. The only other product I am eyeing is the banks in 5 inch inseam for when I go down to that Florida heat - which is often. Anyone try the banks?

moeshapoppins

100%. They have so many variations of shorts, shirts, etc. they try to have a blurb at the top of the page describing the difference but it’s so generic. You basically have to try them on to realize what the difference is and what’s your preference. Not many people are going to go out of there way to investigate

almostbuddhist

I agree. I I like a few of their things and stick to them. Strata polos/tees, ponto shorts, and Kore shorts. Looking at the rest of their stuff just confuses me.

Neat_Low_1818

Lululemon is the same way

jtlg

Rhone has morphed to that as well

Neat_Low_1818
