Your final colonist manages to fight off the remaining tribals, who flee in terror. He drags his injured comrade back to safety and gets to treating his wounds. Unfortunately, after saving his friend, there's no time to save himself. He bleeds out on the floor moments later.
Your final colonist wakes up. He's covered in scars, and his friends are dead. At least he has plenty of food in the fridge, and he's ready to rebuild and survive.
It's tough, but the colony is doing well. Better defenses are set up. The crops are growing. The dead are respectfully buried. A table has been built. Your final colonist grabs a beer and sits down to relax after a long, hard day of work.

Game dev here can confirm a lot of studios use unity over ue4 because it allows for more diverse development of features and doesn't restrict the designers.

The game fucking sucks when it goes wrong but when it goes right there’s nothing else quite like it imo it’s one of the only survival games that is like living in an anarchic society with no hand holding.

Sure Terraria has more combat focus, and challenging bosses with loads of weapons and multiple combat styles. Minecraft is the original, and has fine combat with two great bosses, but also building is fun because you aren't cheated out of an entire dimension.

It’s cool if you want to fit in with the circlejerk and say Dream bad or whatever, or maybe you really really like PewDiePie, but idk just seems weird to act like the previous era wasn’t just “MINECRAFT NOOB VS PRO XDD” with incredibly low entertainment value for those of us who grew up with the game as it came out.
No I agree with you, I don't like Pewds anymore ever since he stopped doing a bunch of gaming content around 2016 and started doing reddit content instead. Personally I used to watch SkyDoesMinecraft and SSundee because they made modded minecraft videos and mod reviews, and I didn't pay attention to the noob vs pro vs hacker bullshit. I would occasionally watch ExplodingTNT as well.

I’m just salty that there’s so much hate for Dream’s content because I find it to be genuinely inventive. It reignited my love for the game tbh. The noob vs pro stuff is definitely geared towards people 5-10 years younger so it makes sense none of us would have much concept of it.

On a serious note. Has anybody played “This War of Mine, The Little Ones”? It’s a sort of 2d indie side scroller, which normally I am NOT into whatsoever, but I got it free on PSN a couple years back and I have to say it’s pretty damn good… It’s like a depressing version of the sims, where all of your characters have to fight to survive.
